While traveling my fur baby wasn’t feeling well. Called around to other Vets and their prices were extremely high. Called Wentworth Animal Hospital and spoke to a staff member, she informed me they had walk-in hours and their appointment cost of reasonable. We arrive, we greeted, gave our info and took a seat. Our wait time was reasonable, the staff was friendly & professional. My doggie has a heart murmur, they recommend and X-Ray of her heart and they explained her condition. She needed medications and the Vet Tech went over each medication and informed to bring her back for a follow up. After arriving home, I realized they forgot to give me one of my dogs meds. I immediately called and they said they would give me a credit on my next visit. We returned for the follow up visit we were a new medication, they did not charge us for the follow up visit. I love this place, everyone was helpful, all our needs were met. If I lived here I’d trust them to my doggies care. Thank you to the Staff, from my call to our visit everything was perfect. I think you can see the difference in my doggies face! From sick & scared to happy and feeling better. Her smile doesn’t lie!

I was new to the area and looking for a place to bring my new puppy. While looking around online and reading the reviews I came across Wentworth animal Hospital. I like what I read and made an appointment for my baby. Needless to say I was not disappointed. My puppy actually adored the staff and I did too. They took time to explain everything to me and I couldn’t ask for a better vet. Needless to say now all my babies come here and I will never go anywhere else. We love you guys. Dech family

I had an emergency with my cat Violet. All the local vets, in Martinsville, were booked. I called Wentworth and they had availability for walk ins. I drove down there and they were able to see my cat that morning. The staff and Dr were caring, attentive, and friendly. I recommend this vet hospital. I will be going back if needed.Thank you,Violet and her mommy.

Great Vets! My son found a kitten without a tail. This kitten only had a hole where the tail was supposed to have been an animal of some type had eaten the tail off. We took the kitten to the vet on a Thursday she didn't look like she was going to live. The vet there was so concerned they did everything they could to keep her alive. They removed over a thousand maggots and kept her in the hospital over the weekend. Monday afternoon they called to inform me that we could pick her up. They saved her life and send her back with medication. (This bill was inexpensive.) She is healthy & doing extremely well and we decided to keep her and name her amazing Grace!❤️

We got an appointment the same day we called for the first time to have a cat that we are rescuing dewormed and assessed. Sirius is his name and he will be the short cat at the Reidsville Trading Post. Highly recommend both this animal hospital and the trading post. Stop in and see Sirius!

Best vet ever! She genuinely cares about our fur-babies and does not try to put them on unnecessary medications. Everyone that works there is very kind and caring. Prices are reasonable and definitely a pet friendly and people friendly place.

Exceptional staff and wonderful service. The wait times are the only bad part of this vet clinic. But then again, we only have so many here in Rockingham County so they are always busy!

There aren't enough stars to give to Wentworth Animal Hospital. They are the absolute best. No matter what the issue is they are always kind, caring, and supportive. Dr. Strader and the entire staff are the best. If you don't have a vet, go to the best Wentworth Animal Hospital. You won't be disappointed.

I will not be returning after the experience I've had with this place and its employees.I made an appt for my dog to be seen and waited a month for that appt. I was called to reschedule the day before due to an emergency with the vet, which I didn't mind terribly, but was an inconvenience.The day of the appointment was awful.The girl that took us back looked super young and was obviously brand new. She was pretty confused about what she was doing.I found out that the only veterinarian that works in this office was on vacation, and no one bothered to mention that before. The fill in veterinarian spoke over our heads, and although I attempted to ask additional questions to understand, he basically kept repeating himself using terminology that made it hard to determine what action was best for my dog. I do not have a veterinarian degree, but was spoken to as if I should easily follow what was being said.Finally, I was advised to set up a follow up appointment because my dog would need to have surgery. When I got to the front counter I was advised the veterinarian that was on vacation would have to review the notes to determine "how urgent" my dogs surgery is, and that they would call me. The super unfriendly receptionist also mentioned they are booked up until January 2024.It has been A MONTH. No one has called me about a follow up. I'm so disappointed in the lack of care provided to my pet and myself. Their way of doing business is not acceptable and needs a lot of work.I have read the previous reviews, and I have seen the responses to others that have had unsatisfactory experiences. They do not intend to hold themselves accountable for mistakes, but only to attack people and make excuses for their terrible, terrible service.Please take your fur babies to a better veterinarian.

I was in search of a vet to see my cat who suddenly became ill. With the walk-in hours, we were able to be seen immediately. Unfortunately, my cat's illness was terminal. It was so unexpected and I was quite upset. The staff and the Vet were amazing - so caring and understanding. They laid out all of my options and never rushed me to make a decision. They made my cat's passing as comfortable and painless as possible for her and for us. I can't say how thankful I am.

My daughter and I took our 1 year old Shepsky for her shots, nail trim and physical. They were great from beginning to end. To be as busy as they were there wasn't a long wait. A 4:00 p.m appointment and, pleasant attitudes, they were all good with our dog , especially being a nervous Nelly husky mix

This vet is awesome I have been going here for 7 years now. There very nice, thorough and give you options for diagnostic and treatment. and there the first vet I have been too that wasn't just about money. If I could buy stock in the company I would lol. Hope that helps

We have a new addition to our family and the only place I wanted to take her to was Wentworth. Great people who really do care. My furrbabies are always comfortable walking into the clinic and ready to be taken care of. I have to say thank you to the entire staff for yesterday. Our newest addition is settling in and not letting her blindness stop her from being happy. 💝

The staff was very helpful and the place was nice and open so your animal had room to roam. They made us feel comfortable there. Their office visit price was $45.00. More affordable than other Vets.

My dog was scheduled for surgery and was cancelled due to a snow storm, which O understood. I was told they would get back to me the next week. 5 months later I can't get an appointment. I really do not like their business model of showing up and waiting 2 or 3 hours to be seen. Why can't they make appointments?. Also, I've been "forgotten" once while I waited. Love the care, but hate the business model and just no follow through. I don't have the time to take my chances and wait 2-4 hours to be seen. I need a scheduled appointment. Odd that they had the number to cancel but not able to reach me to reschedule

Very friendly and reasonably priced. My dog seemed very comfortable with the staff. We waited over an hour in the car before we were seen and numerous people were seen and left before us even after we were told it was first come first served. With a puppy waiting in the car over an hour it was hard keeping him content but that was my only complaint. Will def be going back and thanks for the friendly service!!

My dog loves them. And their willing to work around my dog, who is aggressive twords other dogs, making sure she has room to come in the back or space to get around other dogs. And I feel their prices are fairly good

By far the best vet around my area. Super nice people and a all around good experience. Took care of my dog better than I could have expected. Dr. Strader was very professional and gave great insight on the problem and the cure. Thanks girls yall are amazing.
