Unleashed Lake Boone is the best pet store. The staff is always so kind, welcoming and willing to answer any questions. They have helped us so much with our Goldendoodle’s diet. We struggled to find food brands that did not make him sick and that were not full of terrible ingredients. They carry food and treats you can feel good about feeding your pet best friends. We’re lucky to have them and Lucas loves to visit them every week. Thank you to each of you!

This is the best do-it-yourself dog wash for us! Plenty of space for 2 people and 2-3 dogs. It's always clean and organized, and has all supplies needed. Staff is laid-back but super helpful when needed. Great selection of dog supplies, but unfortunately they don't carry Diamond Naturals, which is what we feed our dogs. We've been driving here from Durham for several years. It's not the closest location, but it's the best. 5⭐

I washed my dog today at Unleashed and found out about allergy testing for my dog, too. Katie was working today, and she was a tremendous help. She is polite, knowledgeable, and kind. I highly recommend this pet store. We have enjoyed this location for many years.

I went into the Lake Boone location and was truly amazed at how educated my salesperson was - her name is Madison S. She answered ALL my questions thoroughly regarding teeth cleaning and the best options for products to use, she gave me potty training advice and tips, spading after care, what dental sticks are the best, and the best toys to use for treat fun. Madison took about 20 minutes educating me on what dogs need for NUTRITION and showed me different options of dry raw and freeze dried raw and showed me what is in each, and educated me on the best way to feed our sweet cockapoo. I feel so much better after talking to Madison and if you become a vet Madison, please let us know! :-)

This is an amazing store. I walked in because I happened to be eating lunch next door and I'm so glad that I did. The customer service is absolutely stellar- the folks working here checked in frequently to ask if I needed any help and were so helpful with finding a good interactive toy for my cat and shared their own experiences with the products. Plus they have a good variety of products. My cat doesn't care for catnip but they also sell silver vine here! And it worked so well for him. Plus they gave me like handfuls of sample food and catnip/silver vine packets. Literally the amount of care and consideration makes it absolutely worth coming here over getting my cat stuff from Walmart or Amazon. I'm looking forward to asking about their food selection since I'm looking to upgrade my cat's food and trust that they'll have the knowledge to help me out!

I have been coming here for a few years b/c they usually carry the only toy my dog won't immediately destroy (Mighty Dog Toys) but had never really purchased anything else. I was looking for a different food for my cat who is overweight and decided to see what they had. One sales associate asked if she could help me and I explained what I was looking for. She consulted with another sales associate who came over and looked at some foods with me. We talked about my cat and about what foods they carried, quality, quantity to feed, ingredients, price etc... Both were friendly and personable. The girl who ended up helping me (a manager maybe? Her name is Ana) pulled a food for me and told me to take it home, try it out and see if my cat liked it. She also pulled 3 sample size packs of food to send with me in case my cat didn't like the bigger bag. I was surprised and beyond pleased that she sent everything home with me for free. She told me about upcoming events at the store, the frequent buyer program, and offered to order my dog's favorite toys since they were out. The service was excellent and as it turns out, my cat LOVES the food. Will definitely be purchasing that food from them again and maybe switch my dog's food as well. Great experience.

I came in last week with my husband and a really sweet girl I can’t recall her nameI believe it started with an H helped me pick out the perfect toy for my boxer pup Luna ! She’s had a thing for eating sticks and she picked out this cute stick toy that has the crunch sensation she loves ! She was very nice professional and helped me find some toys for her ! Very friendly and engaging but never pushy. They sell a great selection of quality dog food brands. Lots of toys and gadgets which they seem to genuinely enjoy showing off. I observed a staff member helping a woman who was about to get a new puppy buy all of the supplies she needed and you could tell that the staff member really loved it. It's not the cheapest pet store, but has to be the most friendly and easy going.

The staff are super friendly here! They remembered my name only the second time I visited. HUGE selection of harnesses and collars, and even larger selection of food. They are super talkative and the manager lady was very knowledgeable about the foods. She helped me find a good food that my dog enjoys. 10/10 service here, and I will definitely be returning.The ONLY THING that is kindly bothersome is there is only one cash register. It’s not usually busy, but I did have to wait in line last time. No big deal - everyone wanted to say hi to my puppy at the time so it was cool.

I already knew I loved Unleashed but now I have to leave a review because I had such good service. My cat recently had a dental surgery requiring a restricted diet I was inexperienced with. I LOVE to shop locally and this place is everything you want in a pet supply store: top-rated foods, supplies and toys, personable staff members who care to help you find what you want for your cats (especially if you have a houseful of spoiled and temperamental felines whose favorite food is discontinued!), and a no-lose return policy if your people don't like what's on the menu. They're generous with samples and the frequent-buyer policy is great! Who doesn't love a FREE bag of food?!

Helpful and friendly local dog and cat store. They carry top of the line products at reasonable prices. I purchased the wrong size harness, brought it back with my dog, they worked to find the correct harness and fit, no hassle in exchanging the harness, they gave my dog a cow ear to make up for the price difference!

My dog started having seizures several months ago. The vet tried him on a couple different medicines none of which seemed like they were helping, and the seizures were becoming more frequent. I have never been into the holistic thing but decided to give it a try so I went to Unleashed not really knowing what I was looking for. They were very helpful in my search and recommended Stella and Chewy raw, frozen dog food. I would not have picked this out on my own but when the girl was explaining it to me why this food is a good option for my dog and it made sense. Plus the food was a lot more affordable than I expected which was a great bonus. Oh and they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee she told me which is nice, I wasn't sure if he was even going to like this new food.He hasn't had any more seizures since eating the Stella and Chewy food and that was about a month ago. I have been back 2 more times for other things and will continue to shop here. This place is great if you know what you are looking for and really great if you don't.

My pitbull and I love Unleashed. After a few incidents with groomers not properly caring for my pit, we frequent the self wash station. They provide all you need and do the clean up for you!We also do a monthly purchase of treats. My pit enjoys the natural treats (jerky, sausages, freeze dried chicken hearts, etc.). We place these in the freezer and share with the other 3 family dogs (2 German Shepard's and a tzitsu)at the grandparents' house.Staff is always friendly, helpful and insightful on needs.

The staff that have helped me are unbelievably knowledgeable and professional. The prices are comparable to online suppliers too. They really care about your pet here and can make informed suggestions. I had to learn a lot about canine nutrition before I found unleashed and the owner here is one of the very few people that run a pet food store and will have an intelligent conversation with you about what they sell. I drive past several pet stores to go here because they carry great products and are friendly.

Workers are extremely nice and helpful, and the store has cool dog and cat items that are not overpriced. There are a decent amount of items for a really good price, but that is not to say that everything is cheap. It is now my go to pet store mostly because of how friendly the workers and environment is. I recommend going here.

Every time I go there I get amazing advice and service. I wish there was one in Durham,until then I'll happily drive down to Raleigh to get that great quality. whether its advice on Toys or cat/dog food, litter issues they have it covered, They really are my furry friends life savers.
