Food Lion is our primary place to but food. I'm always impressed by their campaigns to keep the customers happy. They play some really cool music 🎶 while you go up and down the isles. Why, I even broke out in a dance just reaching for some canned peaches. Hope you didn't see me doing the electric slide in the bread isle. Seems whoever put on the music for the day had that funky music 🎶 Rocklin in their mind. So, if you want to get down while shopping, finding all your favorite goodies. Go to your food Loins and prepare to Rock your way around the milk, fresh bread, and fresh meat counters. Went to self check out and spent over $100 on groceries and paid it in full. The self checkout machine froze and the employee made me pay again even after I showed her my bank statement saying I paid. So I was either forced to pay for food they wouldn’t let me take or I had to pay twice for the same food. Never offered a refund or anything. Feel robbed.

Clean! I enjoyedd the self-check out. No associates asked if I needed assistance but overall I was able to find what I needed.

No associates at the "self checkout" so any error or item that requires an ID means you're doing the job of a cashier and standing around for 5 minutes waiting for them to clear the purchase

Really like this location. Great staff. Store is clean and well stocked. Produce section has a lot of fresh options year around.It’s slightly outdated, but not something that effects the overall quality.

Usually I love this store. I go in almost every morning. Me and my family went in the day before Christmas. Got our shopping done and was about to go to an empty self check. There were a few open. A man named Travis stopped us and said we had too much in the cart. Then, he took the women behind us who had a cart full of items herself. He was rude. Not to mention, my husband and I always work together when ringing up our shopping order. I scan, and he bags. We have gotten extremely fast over the last 12 years. The woman behind us was by herself and had the same amount of groceries in her cart. We were very disappointed to be told that we would be too slow to go through his self check out even though he only had 2 people in line, us and the woman behind us. There are 5 self check out registers in that store, 3 were being used, and the other 2 were open. This wouldn't have been as much of an issue if he hadn't taken the woman behind us who had the same amount in her cart. Everyone else at this store is wonderful to interact with. This was the first time we encountered him. I hope we never encounter him again. We will walk out and leave before having to deal with him again.

Now, 5 stars for Food Lion is the opposite of any other place for me. Was I ignored &/or treated like garbage?? That's 5 stars for Food Lion! Today I was ignored until the checkout where I apparently was engaged in a passive aggressive power struggle as the sullen cashier (thanks Kendal!!) bagged my stuff & carefully placed it out of reach while telegraphing her displeasure at my existence. Normally I'm tickled to get through a whole transaction without an audible syllable from anyone. & ofc i love finding products that are 9 months expired. But active hostility is my favorite. Come here for more!!!!

The staff is friendly and the Mangers are more than accommodating. The store is always clean. The produce department is well below average. During the end of week and on weekends there is never any fresh fruit and vegetables. The store sales rotten produce, it is never discarded or replaced with fresh produce. The stores on the North side are never maintained as poorly as the stores on the South side. One can only wonder???

I went into this food lion today to grab potatoes. There were more Nats and flies on the produce than there is outside. Potatoes were all spouting and a lot were rotting.The meat section was horrible shelves were not stocked either.Went to checkout to purchase two items I felt safe buying and they were so filthy I used the hand scanner. All while empoyee at self checkout was playing on his phone.

Food Lion it's my second source of grocery shopping. This location in particular is located across the street from Aldi.This grocery store is easily accessible from a few different entrances.Parking lots nice and big and the times I have went are an easy in and out.Prices are good. Self checkout lines are fast. I haven't used the cashier line but I believe they have those there too.Staff is friendly and mostly everything that I go there for is in stock regularly.

The regular prices are decent and I enjoy the sales. The store is pretty clean. I go here frequently.Food Lion had these amazing flowers today. Prices were not too high, but not particularly low either. It worked for me. I love that they had seasonal flowers like sunflowers and hydrangea in addition to standard fare like roses and carnations.I was able to use self checkout and very quickly finish shopping. All staff were masked. Thank you!

I shop here at least once a week. The cashiers are always friendly. All of the staff is. This Food-Lion clearly has great management and hires those that truly want to work, not only to benefit themselves, but their fellow coworkers and Food-Lion as a whole.This location (I cannot speak for others, but they may be the same) is currently making improvements to the shopping experience. There has been some rearrangement because they now offer a fresh chicken bar near the deli that provides wings, nuggets, and strips of varying levels of heat (spice). A very nice addition.

Lately, I have noticed that the customer service desk clerks don't care about their customers. Today, I stood at the customer service desk for more than 5 minutes and I never got any service, so I left the store. On the other occasions, the counter closes before 9 pm. Why are their employees roaming around the store or outside taking a smoke break? This is the reason I can't get help. I believe their employees deliberately decide not to help certain clients that come to the customer service desk.

These cashier's are nice they help seniors. I will visit this store again. I love good customer service. I pasted 2 Food Lions to get to this one. Sometimes you just want to be treated with respect when you spending your money.

Updated review..I shop at this foodlion, only because it is close to my home. But after the way I was just treated, never again. Cashiers and managers are the absolute worse. I read some of these reviews would love to know if they are getting paid for their 3+ stars.This was posted 4 years ago, just as bad now as then, if not worse.Customer service is the worst..

Very clean store. Always has a good amount of staff at the cash registers in the mornings and afternoons. Produce section takes good care of putting out nice produce. Dairy section is always well stocked. The coupon kiosk has always been filled with enough paper for printing unlike other Food Lions I have been in.

I once had someone advise me, "If you don't want to mega-coupon, you should shop at Food Lion." They have the things I want to buy at a price I can afford. I've even been asked if there is something that they don't carry that I want. Within a few weeks, it was on their shelves. I wish the ads were more keto friendly, but that's my opinion.

There's not a lot fancy at Food Lion but my spouse and I quickly got comfortable here and that has almost as much meaning to us as prices. There's various savings available through weekly sales, MVP Club, and other offers. Staff here has been nice as well.

This store seems to suffer from poor management. Little to no staff interaction, empty shelves, sullen staff all make this location one I try to avoid.

I have to say, I go here a lot, but today's visit was exceptional. I was waiting in line for a full service register and an employee asked if she could help me check out. I do not need any help, per se, but she proceeded to take my items out at a self serve register and scan them all for me. I hope she or her manager sees this but I forgot her name. All I know is that this level of service is why I go here.
