I bought three items. I sat the basket I was using on the floor next to two trash cans that were full. As I went to leave the one employee standing there, training someone else, says to me, "Ma'am you forgot your basket." Excuse me does anyone know anything about customer service? Ask me how soon I'll go back to that Food Lion?

Wonderful Customer Service! I am a decades-long, loyal FL customer who conducted a large transaction at the Customer Service desk and was a little nervous to walk to my car in the dark. The night supervisor, Matt W. Overheard me say this and said, “I’m going to walk you to your car ma’am.” And he did! He was polite, professional, and on his way back into the store he stopped a woman turning in her cart and told her he would take care of that for her. Store #0586 is extremely lucky to have this young man on the team! #teamfoodlion

Glad we have this one local. Quite the beer and wine selection and it was a brilliant move to put a Sushi chef inside the store. We don’t have to travel to Lowe’s off of 70 for decent Sushi now. It’s made in the store and fresh. Glad we have this in our community and it is so close. Great addition to Cleveland.

Let me focus on the store itself right now I can always find what I need in this store and checkout is a breeze. Outside this store is messy as soon as you walk outside the store weed smoke hits you in the face parking lot needs to be paved There is no need for repairs and the traffic flow is off. When I stop there I make sure to be quick.

The store is great but the only problem is they need to clean up around the entrance side walk because it's very nasty please clean up because of Corona virus for your people who shopping at the food lion store on Poole road walnut shopping center and I must add to this article because I left there on December 24 2023 this customer service cashier they don't have name on receipt but her number 0110 cashier had a nasty attitude because I just left the store and returned as I made a phone call and got the wrong item and she was taking about 15 minutes and she was high as a kite so I said ask the young lady at self service and she just kept going on s omeone needs to have a talk with her about that attitude she is giving to the customer

Solid neighborhood grocery store! This is in a more working class neighborhood, but it is always kept, clean, neat and well stocked. People are very pleasant and I've never had any issues with the quality of the products.

👎👎👎👎🤬🤬🤬WOW!!! WORST LOCATION EVER!! TOOK A TAXI TO THIS FOOD LION NOT KNOWING WHAT WAS IN STORE FOR ME OVER A $3 GALLON OF BAD MILK I WENT THROUGH HELL TRYING TO RETURN! HERE TO DO MY WEEKEND SHOPPING AND SPEND MONEY THE MANAGER AND CASHIER BOTH HASSLED ME AND TREATED ME LIKE A 2ND CLASS CITIZEN OVER BAD MILK WITH MY RECEIPT IN HAND! THE MILK WENT BAD ON 5/4/23 BUT THE DATE SAID SELL BY 5/10/23. IT WENT BAD 6 DAYS EARLY. THIS GUY SAYS ITS NOT OUR PROBLEM THE OTHER STORE HAS ISSUES LIKE THIS AND I NEED TO TAKE IT BACK TO THAT STORE. HE DOES NOT HAVE MILK ISSUES AT HIS STORE THEREFORE NO REFUND. THEN IN THE END MADE IT LOOK LIKE HE IS DOING ME SOME FAVOR BY GIVING ME A GIFT CARD INSTEAD OF REFUND. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?. AFTER ALL THE HASSLE BY THE CASHIER AND MANAGER BOTH AND 15 MINUTES OF GRIEF THE CASHIER WITH HER ATTITUDE PROBLEM GAVE ME A GIFT CARD FOR MY 3 LITTLE DOLLARS. I just moved to this area and I’m disappointed this is the Food Lion I have to come to. I went in just to grab a few items and a bottle of wine. There was only one young lady on a register and self check out open. I knew I was going to have to show my ID for the wine so I pulled it out after scanning my items. I waited for the young lady patiently to finish her line and then help the gentleman that was at the other self check out before me. She needed to get a manager to help him so she grabbed her from the office to assist and the went back to her register to help another man that had just walked in while I was still waiting. Another gentleman walked up to a different self check out with beer. Another young lady came out the office and went straight to him. After the manager finished with the gentleman she was helping she went right back into the office. Then when the other young lady helped the other guy she went right back into the office. After the young lady on the register finished with the guy who came in she stood there at the empty register. I had to call her over to check my ID just so I could buy my items and leaving. Literally ignored by 3 different employees. Food Lion is starting to disappoint because the others One on New Bern close by has also rubbed me the wrong way. I think I’m going to spend the extra money to shop at Lowe’s, it’s not worth saving money to get ignored and this time any the first time here.

Very unfortunate that this is the only grocery store nearby. Parking lot is rough as can be, workers are hit or miss, and carts are all broken.Better idea to drive out to knightdale or garner if you want to shop

Good prices, clean, nice produce. However, the cashier didn't give me all my bags. So over 25% of the cost of the groceries didn't come home with me, which made meal prep impossible.I even visited with the woman cleaning carts, the cashier had time to realize her error and give me my missing bag.

There’s an older lady (African American with spiral curls)that works the register, she sits down to work. I was in line behind a customer of a different race/culture. Clearly the customer didn’t understand how to use her EBT card. The cashier was very rude to the customer and would not assist her. My husband and I was about to pay for her groceries but we managed to help her with the use of her card. I asked the cashier, “Why are you being so mean to her?!” Shame on that cashier for making a difficult situation for this lady in a new country and unfamiliar with our way of life. Different is beautiful! May God have mercy on the cashier.

This is my local grocery store and I am pleased to report that for the past year, I have always had good experiences here. The manager is very kind and respectful and remembers me and says hello when he sees me. Some of the employees have been the same as well and I've never seen them misbehaving or treating people bad. From the cool ladies at the deli counter to the polite gentleman that stocks dairy at night to the fashionable front end clerks that are always patient but swift and efficient. One thing that should really be noticed, appreciated and understood is how aware the management is of the flow of traffic. It seems that any time the check out lines start to get long, they figure out how to get more lanes open(even the manager will open a lane and scan your groceries himself!) and I really really appreciate that. Keep doing what you're doing! Thank you! :-)

Great Customer Service, and especially from the Manger on Duty.... The Sale prices where awesome too! Me and my Grand Daughter went shopping today for food for the week, and we was excited about the sale prices! Came out WINNING!

I'm really tried of smelling weed being smoked right outside the entrance doors..We have children with us sometimes and I don't want them to inhale that smoke.Trash can at the entrance is sometimes over flowing, this brings flies.I'm really tried of being solicited to buy items outside the entranceIt makes this a not so pleasant enviroment for shopping.

Had to make a quick stop so that my daughter could use the bathroom, and let me just say out of ALL the Food Lions I've been to lately the restrooms have been alright. This bathroom however was disgusting, completely nasty do you hear me. Oh my gosh I would never. Cleanliness needs to be reviewed immediately.

They stepped up from pervious years. Nice and well stocked. Still a bit annoying with all the simps standing around, harassing folks. Unfortunately the businesses on the right side don't make it any better. I don't shop here often even tho its the closest store to my residence, but its ok for a quick run in and out... Don't linger

Yesterday my aide and I went there to shop. Upon checkout we ran into a nasty manager. She was very rude. Although they had plenty of staff to open another register they didn't. The manager told a customer with a lot of groceries she would have to go to the cashier. How? The only lane open was express. I too had a lot of groceries and told her I would have used the cashier. The manager was very rude to my aide also. Will not go back to that Food Lion for awhile.
