I find great pleasure in shopping at this Food Lion store because it consistently offers everything I require and desire. Moreover, the employees are always helpful and pleasant.

Last year I would of rated this place 2 stars. Recently they've done a better job at keeping items stocked and clean. Also they added self check outs which helped tremendously. The only problem I have is the beggers by the doors and rowdy customers. There is always a few people who hang out by the front daily asking for money. The location isn't in the best area.

This store has the most disrespectful and highly disturbing adults who work here and shop here. I just witnessed a young man named Dontay with a short cut being disrespected by several employees as well as customers. The main man disrespecting him was a man with a tie and a brown dress shirt. Messed up teeth. Real nasty attitude and I was embarrassed for the young man.

This grocery store makes me never want to go into another Food Lion, just throw the whole grocery store away, I always get harassed by someone in that store every time I go.

Jeanette the customer lead is absolutely super rude to her co-workers and customers. but the other staff are great! Ashlea, Carlos, Troy, Zaryan, and Ms Neko are great!

This is actually quite a nice Food Lion. They have really stepped up their game over the years, continued to add new items. The strip mall that it is a part of is a bit outdated and not the most family friendly. Most of the staff that I’ve interacted with are really friendly. Overall, a good experience and thankful to have a convenient grocery store location in East Raleigh

Older woman w glasses and was wearing a mask decided instead of just saying no she’d prefer to bag the items goes ahead and says I can but throws every item at me and ignores the large items I PICKED UP for her to scan causing me to fall behind in bagging my items so they wouldn’t be damaged but she took it upon herself to damage anyways, if you hate people so much please get another job

The store is well stocked, very clean and the personal are so friendly and helpful. Fresh produce, fruits and vegetables, along with a very good selection of poultry, pork, beef and various lunch meats. Quite often, there will be different meats on sale as well. A great selection of eggs, all sizes, brown shell, organic, free range and many others. So many types of cheese, sliced, shredded, grated and block. Plus less than 5 minutes from my house.

This location is busy. They usually have plenty of cashiers but there often a line. The staff is cheerful and pleasant even though they work long hours on their feet. It's clean and the meat and produce are fresh. The small size of the store means isles are narrow and sometimes blocked. It's a great neighborhood grocery store.

It's a food lion...certain things I purchase here and certain ones I don't. Not the cleanest Food Dog in the chain. From the parking lot to the meat case. If it wasn't so close, I wouldn't visit.Added an extra star today because the cashier actually engaged in conversation.But. Now they've added self checkout lanes. Sad face.

I shop here regularly Food Lion is like my store. This one is closest to my house. On my last trip there was a Hispanic lady trying to leave when I was checking out. Most of her things were in bags she had a few heavier items on the bottom of her cart. the manager stopped her and rang up the bottom items insisting she was trying to steal them. The manager did not ask to see her receipts did not speak with the cashier at the register she had just left. She just made her pay for the items. It was clear that the lady did not speak English well, this just rubbed me the wrong way. there is a way to go about things and to handle things of that nature. Without looking at her receipt there was no way to know for sure if those items have been rang up or not. I have witnessed a few other times management was downright rude and disrespectful to customers at this particular location. I don't think I'll be shopping here here again. Also for whatever reason they're Western Union is always down.Update I recently visited this food lion again with my sister. Management is still as rude as ever. It's filthy in the store and they had produce that was moldy. So still not shopping here

I come to get a money order to pay my rent. The store opens at 0700. Why can't I get that money order at 0705...?The cashier tells me the store manager is unloading a truck. She can't run the station. The CR probably wouldn't arrive til 0800. I asked two more questions before walking out. That's the turnover in this store..................

Very irritated as I was in the checkout line and two young ladies working decided to have a conversation while processing my transaction. The person ringing me up was tired and could care less to try to expedite customer service because she was too tired and nearly falling asleep while talking to the other rep.

Customer Service counter is not open 95% of time on any given week. 1:00 in the afternoon customer service down. I went into the store on Raleigh Blvd on 2/20 at 9:15 in the Morning and customer service was not open. Poor Customer Service

Every time I’m in this food lion I have the best time. The isles are laid out in such a intelligent way and my favorite lady Elaine is always there making me laugh and spreading her positive energy. I love this place and the people who work here because they rule. Love y’all. Love Elaine!

Cashier 0206 has such a beautiful way with people. She was very helpful and not rude which is a first for Food Lion. I have never written a good review for Food Lion but this woman was so great that I just have to.

The cashier was very friendly. They are very busy, so they need more registers opened, they only had 2!! But, the cashiers were very fast and did a great job so were able to get everybody checked out rather quickly.

The produce section at this food lion is top notch. It is just as good if not better than whole foods and trader joe. The produce manager I believe Reggie is professional, kind and he is a true leader. I have watched him work his area and I am so impressed. The fruits and veggies are awesome and fresh. I found things that I can't even find at the other food lions and some other grocery stores. Let me tell you, if the produce manager and his crew aren't getting big raises, that would be a disservice because the produce section is immaculate and is why I shop at this food lion. I am very impressed!

Awesome groceries my family comes here all of the time! I must admit I'm a fan of the new additions the have added lately and an amazing selection to top it all off. The people are too friendly and the Atmosphere is welcoming I think every one should take food lion into consideration when looking for groceries to buy at a reasonable price and when you need to just run in and out its easy too. They have everything from milk to feminine products

Every time someone takes a grocery cart all the way to the grocery cart return area, I want to clap and say thank you out loud.Head nod to the two dudes on the bench outside the front door yelling at everybody is they go in and out of the grocery store. Brightens my day every time I hear their graveley voices.The parking lot is Never full. I'm not sure why people insist on parking in the fire lane right outside the front door. But if it makes them happy and it makes them feel special, I'm just fine with it.There were three kids who live across the street they're today shopping for Kool-Aid and candy. When they saw the lines were long, they realized it might be a moment or two before they got to the corn syrup they carried. A line opened up beside me, and the person in front of me gestured for me to jump in it and be first. I barked at the kids, telling them to jump in front of me. At one time they may have needed the armed security guard standing by the front door. And I do not begrudge the man his job. But I'm happy to report that I don't think he needed any more. Maybe they can put him out in the parking lot Gathering the shopping carts it don't make it to the cart return.

I was visiting Raleigh NC recently visiting a friend and needed some groceries so I stopped into the Food Lion. Overall it looks like a very nice store! One employee was not wearing a mask and I saw them openly sneeze onto a customers cart ! SO DISGUSTING!! I'll never return there and I should have reported them to the manager. The other employee called them Caden, that's all I know .But in this era of covid and it's spread , you would think the management would properly train their employees... Yuch! I hope no one gets sick from this one bad employee!!
