My daughter and son went to buy a flash light and some candles during the storm today in case the power went out. The flash light batteries were corroded. I took the flashlight back to the manager on duty and the cashier. Both males. I asked if I could exchange the flash light because of the batteries. I did not have the receipt because my son dropped it in the rain and it was destroyed. First of all the male cashier act like he didn’t know if he had just sold a flash light or not when the manager asked him. So I left and went to go get my son and the cashier remembered him. Even though he remembered him the manager still told me there was nothing he could do without a receipt. Y’all have cameras in that store and the register has all of the purchase information. All the manager had to do was give me a flashlight with good batteries. I will be calling the corporate office. Yes for a $6 dollar flashlight. I left it on the counter at the store and told them they could have it. I will not be returning to this location. Poor customer service.

My only issue is they never answer the phone. It is literally impossible to get someone to pick up no matter how many times you call.

Since they've remodeled it, the store looks great! I recently had a return and I was able to do it with no problems whatsoever! The only thing that I've really seen that would present a problem for me if I were in management there would be making sure that my staff was dressed appropriately with clean and neat uniforms. I visit the store a few times a week on my way home from work to get little odds and ends for the house. I would definitely recommend this store to others!

Cashier was very friendly. She even but my items in my chart after she bag everything. She also showed my how to use my family Dollar app. A saved a lot more with this app along with my coupon that I cut out the Sunday paper. She was a very great worker and will return again because of her.

Be careful with oncoming northbound traffic when entering and leaving the parking lot. The location in the midst of traffic is quite unsafe. Otherwise it's not much hassle shopping and checking out. Just know if you need to exchange a (defective) product be prepared to give your phone #, address and name-- even if you have the receipt. I don't like disclosing such info these days when it's unnecessary but the cashier was kinda rude to me when saying that if I didn't provide it then I couldn't get a replacement. Hence 4 stars instead of 5.

Whew chile ghetto! I pulled up to the store trash was everywhere, still went on in. Cashier is talking to a friend or family member not sure exactly, any who you can hear their conversation through out the store. I get to the register they still loud and the subject of conversation was definitely inappropriate. The friend/ family member stands in front on the register as if she checking out all the while talking. Cashier rangs up my purchase doesn't tell me the total and of course I can't see it because the other lady still standing literally in front of the register. I hand her my money, they still talking. Cashier says nothing to me, hands my change and bag, never missing a beat from her personal inappropriate convo at work in front of customers. I will never shop here again.

Nice cashier! Greeted us as we came in and when we left. Also adjusted our price when there was a question about it. Always stocked and the clothes selection is not bad at all!!

I went to family dollar to get cash back. An employee posed as the store manager and I ask for cashback and was denied for no reason during store opening hours. I was told how there were atm's, banks, and other stores that i cocld go to. I asked to speak to the store manager employee stated he was the store manager and proceeds to tell me to leave his store and if i didn't he would call the police.He proceeded to call the police. I waited.When the officer ararrived I explain what happened.The officer asked for my id and went into your store came out and gave me my id and told me to have a nice day.When i ask for corporate number i was denied by the employee.I called to thw store later, and another employee (who stated that he was the assistant manager of the store) and he provided me with the number. I shop at this store every Saturday morning ans i can sincerely say that i felt discriminated against and publically humiliated all due to me wanting to get cash back. I AM planning to call corporate and report this incident today.

Staff could be more helpful. The prices at this Family Dollar is higher than at other Family Dollar's. Go before 4 PM or you will have a problem getting back out to Rock Quarry Rd (Heavy Traffic).

Limited Mobility and can navigate better when there is a motorized chair in a place. No Family Dollar stores have accommodations for people with limited Mobility. Otherwise I think the stores are great!

Need attention..... never can get cash back always in need of change 1s and 5 dollar bills shelves won't stocked up. Lines were long only one cash register was open.

Decent quality merchandise for the dollar. Those that are looking for a deal/sale here-and-there will find it @ Family Dollar. They sometimes have items that other stores do not carry. But 'don't take my word for it,' go see for yourself.
