This store is always a mess... trash on the floor, isles cluttered, everything in disarray. Products were not in the correct spot on the shelves, so I didn't know what I had to pay until I got to the register. Cashier did not greet me, tell me the total or thank me (common courtesy). This is the most convenient Dollar General to my house, but I'll be going elsewhere from now on. Y'all should check out the Lizard Lick store. Maybe you could learn from them what a Dollar General should look like and how the employees should treat their customers. Gave 2 stars only because you have pretty good prices on some products.

if i could give zero stars i would the worker was not dressed appropriately and she was extremely rude walked up to get a phone charger and she was outside on the phone talking junk to her “homeboy” i waited for a solid 5 minutes before she came to the register the card only option was down and when she got to the register she was on speaker phone and still talking she fiddled around with my charger and took forever as i was standing there a sweet lady with 3 kids walked up and asked if they had any carts to which the lady replied with “I literally just put one outside didn’t I” then PROCEEDED to talk junk about the lady and how she had an attitude. overall horrible experience for only a few minutes

This Dollar General needs new management. They close early often due to short staff, and put signs on the door and say will reopen shortly on a white piece of paper. Several customers been waiting for a while and no staff member came, all the customers left. On a second note I hope whoever is running the store today is ok.

Warning ⚠️ DO NOT GO HERE!! The experience I had tonight with my two children was absolutely unacceptable! I went to self check out tonight because there was no worker by the front of the store. I no longer wanted ONE item out of the 6 items I had bought. I waited patiently for a worker after pressing the help button. After a few minutes a worker finally came. They looked at me and said "Where did I find this" I said " back there". They then looked at my 7 year old ask said " go put it back there!" With the most ill vocie , also by himself!

This store has horrible customer service. The lady was playing Christian music ,she not helpful to lady in front of me. Then she doesn't acknowledge customers entering the store . She looked people entering, and doesn't speak and still doesn't say a word when people get to the register. So rude.

If I could give 0 stars I would.The cashier, who had assistant manager on their badge, was very rude and disrespectful today.This person was even disrespectful to two older ladies that were in the store shopping.Reading the reviews it’s very likely that this is the norm for this person. Totally unacceptable.

This DG is messy but sometimes they organize but… but the casher is so rude always with bad attitude she don’t like to help people I mean she’s working they paying her to help the customers but she rather to be just sitting and when you ask for help she answers you so so rude I don’t know why she’s still working there she’s not a good worker absolutely not this store needs nice worker not lazy and rude ones.

This Dollar General on Rock Quarry road is always a mess. And today it was closed doors locked in the middle of the day and no note or sign on the door.

It's 8:35 and the store isn't open.I waited until 10am.A nice lady came over and explained what had happened and offered me a gift card. My initial rating was 1 ⭐ but because of her professionalism I'll add 2 more ⭐ to it. This is really has nothing to do with the gift card because she didn't have to give me anything because things happen it's simply because she understood what customer service was about.With regards to the store itself, it's always dirty and messy, this is the first time I've ever seen her or her team on property, hopefully she can get the store more presentable.

This store is declining fast. It's never stocked. The stuff is always in the aisle on a cart. Only 1 cashier. Changed their closing hours. I think they're short staffed. I had to wait 10 minutes rorschach someone to come check me out. But....I do like going there.

Standing here at 7:30 and the store is supposed to be open but the doors are locked and phone ringing busy. This is the second time no signs on the door. People waiting in the parking lot and the lady comes out nasty attitude we are closed no o e showed up for work.

All the reviews are the same, as is mine. Store is in my opinion Unacceptable!! I wonder if it is because it's in a predominantly Black neighborhood that nothing is being done about it. The store manager needs to be replaced as the store reflects whomever that is. Please do something!! My next step is to write at the regional level. This should Not Be!!

Walked in, walked around for 3 minutes, and walked right back out. Store was a MESS! Shelves not stocked, garbage and items on the floor, boxes in aisles. The absolute worst DG I've ever been in. Either they don't have enough help or the existing employees don't care. DG are you paying enough to adequately staff this store?

The website says they close at 7pm on Monday. But I just tried to walk in and the lady said they are closed. It’s only 5:30pm. Please update the hours accordingly.

This Dollar General is probably one of the best updated stores in the triangle. The staff is helpful and the store has just about everything you need and more for a quick pickup. A young man who was running the register noticed a customer he had just finished up with left one of her items behind and picked it up and went to the door getting the customer’s attention handing her the item forgotten. That’s real customer service and serving the community well.

Well, I was greeted, so they are definitely working to approve their customer service. I have no problems when I shop this location. I guess, as any of the nearby stores, they need to work on register staffing. Lines can get long with one cashier.

The line was so long and there were 2 other available cashiers. The what appeared to be manager or lead cashier was rude to the only cashier working and she was as polite and posed. BUT the manager lady wasn't considerate of the line literally 20 minutes long. She actually never opened up after 2 calls and pleads by her staff.

Good old dollar general. I was checked out be a super nice, helpful employee and was in and out in a few minutes. Also right next to jack's and pizza hut if you want to order ahead for an easy dinner plan.

For myself, I prefer DG... usually they carry sometimes different items that are to my liking...one day they had my most favorite oatmeal raisin cookies and my heart was just filled with gladness and then everyone discovered them, how tasty they were, so now I have to share 🤗, 🙋🏿😍

I walked in and the smell was horrible. It smelled like someone had a bowel movement and didnt close the bathroom door. Not sure what actually caused the smell but it smelled like this throughout the store. Some of the aisles had things on the floor so I had to lift my cart up just to get by. Other than that, they had everything I needed for a reasonable price. Was able to get in and out quickly once I maneuvered around the obstacle course.

Wish I could give you 0 stars. Worst dollar general I have been too. No one is never at the cash register when you walk in and when you try to pay cash they always talk about can't accept big bills. If I can't pay with American currency why are you open in America?

Seems to be a long wait at checkout often. Isles can be hard to maneuver through when stock is overflowing. However, staff is usually friendly and it is convenient

I’m a mother with five kids and we patronize this Dollar General a lot. I went in the store and my daughter had to use the restroom. They then told me that there was not a public restroom. I was livid. Paying customers should have access to a restroom. I blame this on racial injustice. In an affluent neighborhood there could be issues with customers and how they take care of things but the customers that patronize the business are being treated with respect. This issue needs to be dealt with. I will be calling the news on this one. We have to learn how to stand up for ourselves and our communities and if we don’t who will?

This particular store has great customer service skills. You're greeted with a welcome to dollar general as soon as you step into the store. They normally have everything that you are looking for but it's a bit over crowded and disorganized.

Nice, courteous cashier! Wish they would hurry up and fix the door the car drove through. I think a different part of Raleigh wouldn't let it go so long.
