I needed to break down my 90 gallon reef tank because it was old and time for a new one. I thought about doing it myself, then realized how big of a job this would be. I contacted Aquatic Creations and Gil was happy to take on the project. He patiently answered all of my questions regarding tank, stand, sump and pump options. I changed my mind several times and finally got to the final decision. Gil was with me all the way!On the day of the move, he showed up with Jared and Zach. All of the plumbing was done prior to his arrival and they were extremely careful in moving all of the rocks, corals and fish to holding tanks. The old tank was cleaned up, moved out and the new tank and stand brought in. New sand and more rocks were added, along with RO/DI water that he brought from the shop, pre-mixed with salt. He landscaped the rocks and put the fish back in. Later, I finished placing the rocks with the corals.It’s been 2 months now and Gil is still happy to answer any questions and acquire new fish for my tank. Sorry this was lengthy, but Gil and his team were awesome!

I've been a customer for 10 years. Gil and his team have ALWAYS kept my tank looking beautiful and well balanced. They are reliable and responsive. If you want fish but don't have the time or interest in maintaining a tank these folks are your solution.

They're awesome. They knew I was a potential, first-time, home aquarium customer, and they knew I would never be a big money-maker for them compared to their big commercial contracts, but they still humored me and patiently answered my super-novice questions. That was a long sentence. Again, I don't know much about aquariums so I can't be the greatest judge, but I'm pretty sure they know what they are doing. I now have a better understanding of pH balance. Thanks, fish guys. Everyone else, go here.

They set up and take care of a 450G tank at the Fort Bragg library that is absolutely gorgeous. The fish are all healthy and lively. The colors are thriving and have perfect air flow and light. It's really a beautiful tank. I really enjoy seeing it when we go

Terrible and they seem to prioritize based on the amount of money or service you will be getting. It's a shame since I was referred by someone who used to have them come service one of their saltwater fish tanks at her office and had asked around for referrals. Got contacted back 2 days later after I left a message and I was told they would follow up with me the following week to service after I had sent some pics of my tank. I followed up again to see if they had any update and the response I got was that they were tied up with other clients still. Apparently they don't know how to use a calendar and schedule? Not a good way to take care of referrals and the customer shouldn't have to follow up multiple times to schedule something.

Stephanie is such a pleasure to work with! My boyfriend and I have a 65 gallon tank and she advised us with the right fish to add and which ones would get along best with each other. You can tell she loves what she does and is extremely knowledgable. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to set up an aquarium.

Did a good job taking care of aquarium. We had a leak and Aquatic Creations “cared” for our fish until we replaced our aquarium. They only returned 2/3 s of our fish. The largest, most valuable unusual colored fish did not make it back! Something is fishy here!

Gil and the team there are fantastic. Just started our saltwater tank and it looks fantastic. I look forward to adding things. My husband is in heaven and over the moon about starting is old hobby up again. Thanks Gil and please thank your son for all the help he provided!

Fantastic service from experts that really care about the fish!!! Just recently got into this hobby a year ago & they have taught us so much, what to do & what not to do. Always there to answer any questions we have, saltwater or freshwater. The best thing is that they are very passionate about the fish, a happy well cared for fish is a healthy fish.

FYI-They do not sell to the general public. Don't even bother contacting them unless you are one of their service customers. Also, they don't answer the phone and they don't return messages.
