Everything that You need for Your pets (dogs, horses, etc), and the staff is very knowledgeable about animal welfare and hunting! Highly recommend this place if You go through Raeford. However, staff could be a little more friendly to People of color who visit their establishment! Pretty obvious that I'm not a hunter, but am starred at like prey, by their regulars and some staff!! Pretty unsettling.

Big sign at the road, go over the tracks, and there it is. Plenty of parking and staff is always friendly. Everything from fishing to hunting. So much stuff it will take a minute to look at it all. Check them out next time you're passing by.

I simply love this family! They have been there for 36 years! A Christian family.. A hard working family that goes above and beyond to make sure you have what you need before you walk out the door. Mr. Godwin loves to share fishing and hunting stories on the front porch of the store in his rocking chair. They have top of the line products and spend a lot of time looking for the next best thing for their customers! They will also tell you they learn from their customers as well on what they need or like and they make sure that customer has it. They love their regulars and also love meeting new faces! Customers stop bye occasionally and have a cold Pepsi or Mountain Dew on the front porch while sharing their fishing or hunting stories ! Customers even bring their fur babies into try on new collars and meet the staff! The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and smiling at all times! Always willing to help in any kinda way! They are also great with the Garmin, If its simply needing a update to trouble shooting other problems with any of your systems that you may have, they will figure it out for you and make sure you leave with no questions unanswered! A wonderful team!

Great place to go for all your archery needs. Staff was courteous, very helpful and not pushy trying to make a sale. They took the time and allowed me to shoot all the bows I wanted to see what fit me best and emphasized customer satisfaction above everything else. Additionally, their selection of both new and used bows surpasses anybody in the area. Will continue to go here and would highly recommend to anyone.

I am a member of a Vol.Fire Dept.that was having a Dinner one night and needed some door prizes to give away.I went to Godwin's Outdoors and they GRACIOUSLY donated more than we asked for without hesitation. I have known the Godwin family for years and being a sportsman I have bought many things from them. You truly feel like family when you walk in the door and they cater to ALL your needs. TOP OF THE LINE MOM AND POP TYPE STORE. They sell a lot of Carharrt stuff and will custom order what you need. It is ran by a Christian family and are not ashamed to show it. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND giving them an honest try before going to the big box stores. And yes, they are closed Sundays, but more than happy to serve their patrons Monday-Saturday.

Neat little shop nestled in the countryside. Just about anything you need or seems for hunting, fishing, and myriad of other outdoor recreation activities. Personable service, but at their pace and discretion. Most definitely not a box store by any means.

Bad taste in my mouth. My husband order boots over the phone and they sent the wrong ones. So, he calls them and tells them they sent the wrong ones they tell him to send them back but we had to pay for shipping them back then they tell him they over charged him by ten dollars ture not that much but still. So now they are sending the right boots back to him with the ten dollars they over charged him but the 22.65 he had to pay to send it back because they missed up well that's his lost. That is some crap not how u do business so I will not be recommending.

I've done business at both Godwin's Outdoors and Godwin's Archery. I prefer Godwin's Archety. In my opinion the lay out is better and more spacious so you can see what they have to offer. The indoor shooting range is amazing. I found the merchandise at Godwin's Outdoor to be out dated and the store wasn't well organized. My husband bought a pair of boots that were dry rotted. Shop both store and compare for yourself.

Been going to Godwins for years! Mr. Godwin and his staff always are friendly and make sure you find what you need. The store is always stocked with merchandise and have a lot of name brands that you can get in the store without having to go out of town to buy them.

Pretty much if you need it they have it or can get it. Some things are a little bit pricey but their hunting and fishing supplies are good quality stuff .

I wouldn't step foot in this store too crowded to see what is for sale. I would go to Godwin's Archery on Poole Rd. where you are greeted by a great bunch of employees and can see the merchandise.
