We went there to get Deli Ham and some cheese. The man who cut it for us did wear gloves but he did not have on a hairnet or mask of any kind and today I noticed a hair on a slice of the cheese. That is disgusting and it surely was not one of my hairs nor my wife’s. This hair was black and our hair is both brown. Clearly not ours. The workers that are in the Deli dept need to be sure they are following basic food sanitation protocols. This is one reason among many that I dislike living all the way out here as there is no Publix close by. They always wear gloves, hairnets and masks - the men and women workers as it’s basic protection for food safety and sanitation.

I normally grocery shop at this Food Lion for all my food needs, be it a quick stop for a few things or every two weeks for my family’s food for the month.This store is becoming Walmart more and more each time I go there. Today when I went there to get a few things there was one register and “associate” working with a line of more than 20 people. Meanwhile, other “associates” standing around looking at their cell phones or outside smoking while all these people with carts full of groceries waiting on the one register that was being utilized.This is unsatisfactory and if I wanted the “service” Walmart provides I’d just go there. Maybe I will start shopping there, at least I can check myself out and be on my way.Do better!

I almost cried yesterday simply because of how nice everyone was in this location… I wish I would have paid attention to name tags, every cashier there deserves a personal shout out & raise. I was having a rough day & just the simple & kind gestures from these individuals turned my whole day around. It’s the smallest things sometimes. Keep that momentum going ❤️

I mean its food lion, not as big or a large variety as other food lions. I do feel like it's a little gloomy inside this location. However its always CLEAN! even the shelves even always like neat and in order. I never really have to wait in line here. Wish they had more fresh seafood like some other locations. As for the employee ahhh you can tell they don't like their jobs lol, but they ain't never really been rude. However I do understand them because at this location they're understaffed. There normally only 1 or 2 cashiers. I've never seen anymore than that. Oh this location always seems to have the best greens in this area too! Especially when outta season! We will continue going

It's always clean. The produce man, is always nice. Always welcoming and asking if i need help. Well I'll assume he's the produce man that's where I always see him. They're definitely under staffed as most places are. So the cashiers definitely looked stressed most of the time. (Which I don't blame them) we normally always have the same male cashier, he's pretty nice. I've saw some of the other customers tho go out of their way just to be rude and mean for no good reason! They have enough to deal with without "Karen". Definitely feel like a supervisor or manager should speak up to these customers. There's such thing called employee abuse from customers and no employee should have to deal with it. However i enjoy going there. They also get some nice plants in thar always look well taken care of!

I was able to find everything I needed. Their selection of produce was great and everything was very fresh. My cashier was very friendly and all the other employees were also very friendly and helpful.

I do not frequent Food Lion. But what I experienced today was exceptional by the staff at this one. Today was the first time I have witnessed a manager, like Judy (the customer service manager) open and work a register because she recognized the backlog of customers waiting to check out. This was a great way to lead by example and not expect your employees to pull the workload of the store. Great job and A+ customer service, Judy!

Store is super clean and most items are easy to find. Would be nice to have a larger selection of fresh vegetables. Staff is great and will open extra checkout lanes when the are a lot of people ready to checkout

A good location and well stocked store. They have the necessities at fair prices. The check out was probably the more friendly and interactive than I have seen in a long while. I actually had a real conversation unlike many other Food Lion stores (and others) where the staff are disengaged. Found what I needed.

One of my favorite grocery stores to shop at!So, convenient to come here and shop on my way home from work, everything is always neat and orderly and easy to find!Associates are friendly!I would like to take the time out to recognize a staff member, April T. What a pleasant woman! She is so friendly and uplifting! It’s people like her that make you have a wonderful experience and a frequent returning customer! I wasn’t having the best day and she sure did turn it around with her uplifting positive attitude. It’s people like her who make customers want to return! 🙂

I was passing through, On my way out of state and needed to get snacks, the Worker, April, said she was new, but was super helpful in assisting me to find my items, she smiled, was so pleasant, helpful and charming, she didn’t seem bothered at all by my “ out of town, lost questions..” either. Really a friendly face to see in a time of need. Definitely will revisit if in the area again! Really really wonderful experience!

Only problem i found was closer to the front was a big box filled with colorful little bottles of juice and I was in a hurry to get some little juices before picking up my kids from school. Upon checkout I noticed these werent kid juice bottles at all but little round colorful bottles of wine. And I was thinking they were juice. Please manager put a big sign that tells people that this is really alcohol.

Great customer service. Especially April Terrell. She was very helpful and polite. I was having a hard time with all of my kids and she definitely turned it around. I had trouble finding a few things and she was quick to lend a hand. Definitely will be doing all of my shopping here from now on.

Great prices and awesome deals year round! The workers are very friendly and eager to help. And my husband and I always enjoy chatting with the cashier Calvin on our way out. He always has a smile on his face and greets you at the door.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. This location was very clean, even their restroom. All of the employees had masks on. The young lady that served me when I checked out was very nice a d polite, she wore gloves and her masks. Produce department had all the fruits and vegetables I needed, even the Baby Bok Choy and Chayute and the meat department was well stocked and prices were lower than most grocery store. Compliments to the Staff and Management for the effort and hard work they provided customers like me, especially during this time of the pandemic.

No matter what NC town I am staying in for work purposes there is always a piece of home when there is a Food Lion. I love to know that when I go in one, no matter where, my favorite products can be found. Great customer service & good prices. I found a ladies wallet at this Food Lion & brought it to the service desk & the girl left the desk & walked around with me until we located the owner who was so grateful! Highly recommend!

I had an employee, nice young man, I believe his name was Manny who assisted me. I needed a price check and he went above and beyond… There was some thing on clearance it wasn’t marked yet he found out it was supposed to be on clearance went to the trouble of Finding someone to market down and then searching for me in the store. This food lion is always stocked and has great deals. It’s all about timing and what you are buying. You have to be a member to save but it’s free. When it gets close to things nearing the expiration dates, prices go down to unbelievable prices. So usually those days I buy meats I’m going to cook and save so much. That includes organic meats. It’s never crowded. However, cleaning and hygiene products are not cheap here so I would recommend going elsewhere for that. Happy shopping!

This is my regular Food Lion, so I'm accustomed to a clean, orderly store where I ALWAYS receive exemplary service.I wish that I could give an extra star because tonight when I went in I was having some mobility challenges. A new face greeted. She was concerned, heard me chanting my 3 item list to myself, and quickly gathered up my three items.I believe her name was ARACELI. She was just as nice while checking me out, glancing out to make sure that I made it to my vehicle safely.Thank you hiring, training and store managers!! I love the way you screen and train your people!!!

It's close by my house and clean. What I really liked was the positive customer service I get whenever I shop here. People are helpful there.
