If I was capable of leaving zero stars or negative stars, I would have. I understand that everyone wants to go home at the end of the day. However, I also understand that people have emergencies. So tonight, I got home from work to be informed that we have less than a quarter of a roll of toilet paper for the house. Now, mind you usually this would not be a big deal except for I have a huge family of 8 people. So after getting off of work from my 12 hour shift at the hospital, I rush out to this Dollar General because it is closest to my house. I pull up, and the gentlemen look at me park, then when I get out of the vehicle, the gentlemen closes the door just as I am about 2 arms length away and days we're closed. I stated to the gentlemen that it was not yet 10 o'clock and that you are turning away a customer. He asked me what I said, and I repeated it to him. I the said "wow, ok." He began yelling at me through the glass that if I wanted a solution, call corporate. With he kept getting louder and louder and began to bobble his head like a dog on bobble head character. I did tell the gentlemen that this appeared to be racially driven for the woman that he let in was of the same ethnicity as he was. He just kept yelling the same thing as before. If you want a solution, call corporate. So, I did, and let me tell you. The lady I spoke to was very polite and apologetic on behalf of Dollar General and ensured me that the district manager would be uncontact with me within 24 hours.

Don't believe the hours on the door or what Google says the hours are. They both say open until 10:00 pm. I've been between 9:45 and 10:00 many times and they have already been closed and refuse to open the door. They need to change their listed hours if they aren't going to actually be open until the time they say.

The store is always a huge mess. Shelves are never stocked forget about blocking and making things look nice for customers. There are a couple good cashiers, but most of the ones who have been there awhile don't care and are always on their phones.

The most racist staff I have ever met. I have been going to this store for years because it is near me home. A few years ago I stopped shopping there due to them accusing my son of stilling when I sent him in the store to purchase personal hygiene items for himself. The young lady lied on him and after seeing he had nothing but what he bought she still called the cops luckily I was in the car watching her and had to straighten them out they apologized but it didn’t mean a thing because she had evil intentions that didn’t prosper. Over the past 2 years I started back going to the store and though they have new staff they still treat black people the same they see me at least 3 times a week and my children yet they follow us like we don’t see them as they do everyone black that comes in the store it a shame. I will never return to this store again I’ve seen all these 8 years you hire racist staff the one decent girl y’all had relocated and the store has be going down hill ever since. This day I sat and watched you profile my son again as in sent him in to purchase laundry detergent you did sweat not one white male or female that came in the store you all stalked my son because you are evil people and you will be held accountable for all you do. Trust and believe that.

Discovered that dollar general. Has received millions in fines over the past 5 years. Blocked emergency exits, isles blocked by inventory, this store to be next on list

They are the most friendliest people aways with a smile coming in the door. Very knowledgeable of every item. They are kind and considerate. They make you feel like family like you have known them for years. Some even know you by name. A really awesome employees from managers ti cashiers. Kayla, Sarah, Becka just to name 3 that are always there.

In my opinion, this store is always a mess. Shelves are not stocked and carts with boxes of inventory block many aisles. It's hard to shop if you can't get down the aisle. FYI, I only weigh118 lbs. Wish I had taken pics, will the next time. Would be nice to have new management at this store.

The store was a mess. I have lived around that area for 5+ years and these last two years the store has went downhill. They were in the middle of inventory that's understandable but...the shelves were disorganized you had about 5 employees from another store there that were yelling back and forth betweens isles and talking about the management team that worked there. It was totally unprofessional and unnecessary that they felt comfortable to talk that way in front of random customers that were shopping in that store. The only positive thing I can say is that the clerk that checked me out was full of light, he greeted me very politely and his chipper attitude made my experience lighten before leaving the store. I can't remember his name but when he told me my total he said "This comes to a whopping $10.14" it made me chuckle on the phone inside. They need to be better as a store but that young man was wonderful to encounter.

only dollar general i go to. the employees are always super nice and helpful! i have a clean record and was falsely accused of shoplifting in 2016 and it was instantly thrown out (only place ever arrested at so embarrassing and i didnt steal bc it was thrown out and those employees are long gone)but i STILL go here and all the employees are amazing except those past two

Employees are welcoming and will go out of their way to help customers.It does get crowded during certain times of the day...3:30-6:30 during the week & Saturdays are always busy!The only downfall, it's way too jammed with stuff...floor displays seem to be taking up too much space! Doesn't seem to be as neat and orderly as it used to be with the old manager.

I like stopping to this store on the way home. It's clean but sometimes the stock be if front of the items you trying to get. Good service but seems like not enough employees.

They need more help as to their is not enough individuals to restock the shelves. So their were carts full of items that need to be put up....This made it hard to maneuver through the store because of limited space.

I'm from out of town, my experience this morning at the store was awful. The store manager should be terminated. Yelling at the cashier and acting a fool.very unprofessional. If an employee needs to be corrected, it should be done privately without raising your voice. If that's how the employees are being treated, corporate needed to screen their store managers better. Terrible store manager!!!!

Usually my go to for stuff and always have what I need. However, my wife came home after stopping there and told me the cashier asked her for money to buy a soda? This made her feel very awkward and uncomfortable. Not cool.Just went again. Paid my bill with my debit card and was approved, but after payment was complete I was told I still owed $1.60. How does that happen? It’s a rip off and this place is bad even for a Dollar General.

Have been to this store more as of recently and the customer service has been outstanding, very personable and friendly no matter who is stocking or at the register. Convenient location and needs. Great job!

On 8 Feb 2018 at approximately 1730 hours I went to shop at this location, its a place I frequent as it has all I need and it is very close to my house. This evening I went with my teenage son to pick up some items and using a REUSABLE shopping tote began to get my purchases together. While shopping, an employee who was not wearing a name tag came up to us and waving a key which had a dust mop attached to it, yelled at me to get out. She was half an isle away and she is waving her key deal and hand telling me to get out. I asked her why and she said she saw me put items in my 'purse' and was told by another customer that I was stealing. I informed her that the SHOPPING TOTE is reusable and is used for shopping, that I was not stealing.It was embarrassing to say the least. A store I have shopped at for years now is one I will no longer frequent. Why not teach associates to be discreet? Or actually learn that reusable shopping totes are something people use? As a matter of fact they sell them at the check out.This associate told me she was going to discount an item at the register and I declined. I don't need a pity discount. Learn not to take the word of an unknown person and actually approach the situation with tact or discretion.Yelling at me from a distance more than six feet to get out, well let's just say is not the way to go.I am a disabled veteran who served over 20 years of active duty service. In my 43 years of life this was the single most embarrassing moment in my life, having to explain to my son who was with me what all this was about wasn't easy either.Find a way of teaching associates the difference between thieves and people using reusable totes.

Politeness and they made sure that customers had masks to wear and reminded in a nice way but they never have much, they always have things out of place everyone mainly complain about it . Now the staff doesn’t wear their mask anymore and they are not doing any of the safety social distancing now though..

I totally agree with Carla place! That store manager is not responsible and is very rude. She has the employees working by themselves during the busiest hours. HORRIBLE STORE MANAGEMENT!!! Store needs to be more in order for customers.

This store #12220 needs better management, store is just a mess. Empty shelves, and stock carts blocking every isle. Couldnt find what i went in for unless i wanted to move multiple stock carts.

The store was out of the items that I need everytime I go to the store never full the store look like a storm went through their butt the employee's are nice long line one cashier there get the store clean up

The staff is usually very nice but there are ALWAYS boxes out in the isles. They have boxes everywhere and it causes a lot of inconvenience for the shopper.

It has such cool stuff in there. I love going there I wish could go everyday after work. When I go in the lady that is there is so nice. She is usally moping and I hate stepping on her floor.

This is my go to. It is right between mine and my son's house. So I frequent here a lot! Small town feel when walk in and they know who you are. That small personal touch goes along way. Bree, Chris, Brandon thank you.

Staff graciously got gallon water bottles for me... they were on the very bottom of a 5ft high stock cart! It was like Dollar Store Jenga.

It's a mile from my house and has those items I don't want to drive 5 miles to Wal-Mart for. The isles are ALWAYS CLUTTERED WITH CARTS FROM DELIVERY TRU CKS!!

Dollar General is Dollar General, not the most organized not the cheapest but if you know that they have what you're looking for it is great for a quick trip to the store. Usually in and out in a few minutes.
