I went in on this Saturday morning to do two transactions. The orders were not big. Both orders had five items each. The cashier, who was very nice, told me that she’d take one transaction and take the person behind me.I had already waited in line behind three others. I also let her take a customer who got out of line and came back. As a paying customer who had already waited and went beyond, I was not treated fairly.The store is also junky as they all are.

Went in tonight at 9:40 and they were closed. Website plainly said they close at 10:00pm Needed something that I could have purchased quick. Oh well !!!!! . Money loss due to employees closing early

My daughter-in-law and I went in to several dollar generals to take advantage of their 70% off sales today. This Dollar General was our last stop before we went home. Every time I have gone into this Dollar General the manager is rude and acts like she doesn’t want to be bothered. Very unorganized and clutter everywhere. When we were checking out the manager had to ring us up because all the clearance items were not ringing up correctly. She was very nasty and rude the entire time and we actually had to pull out our phones to use the Calculator because she could not get any of the prices correct . Then she wanted to act like it was our fault and that we were wrong my daughter-in-law called corporate while we were standing there to verify the pricing. Will never ever go back in that store again. Just a horrible experience.

I would give zero if possible. Says open until 10pm. I rush to get here only to find doors locked at 9:45. Employed just standing inside. I know it's closing time, but change your hours if you aren't going to be open!

Grabbed a few snacks before a long drive home. The place was somewhat cluttered but the friendliness of the staff made up for any messiness. They have a wide selection of items that should satisfy the basic needs of many. Again, the staff were polite and responsive to my needs. And I also appreciated that staff (and even most customers) wore masks and kept physical distance. Thanks for serving the community.

Everything you need to keep your house or business fully stocked. Their grocery section has really grown and you can find just about anything you need to make a meal. They have great prices on cleaning supplies, laundry detergent and other household needs. This is one of my regular stops every week!!!

DO BETTER!!! Dollar general if you don’t care about your reputation as a company whole then keep this store open. You keep hiring people who could careless about respect even answering the darn phone! Either do a clean sweep and hire people who are respectful, clean, and have and care about integrity….OR CLOSE THE STORE. You won’t make 💴 when nobody will go or wants to shop in there!!!

They act like they are bothered when customers walk to check out and it happens alot!!! Went in there 2 weeks ago and the 2 men didn't want to help me check out. One man was having a conversation with a woman looking at his phone and the other wanted to finish stalking the shelves. After 5 mins of waiting nobody else in the store but me I was about to walk out just to leave the stuff on the counter and thats when he apologized for my wait while laughing. Maybe they need to be trained on customer service skills. I just go to family dollar now it's a little further but very friendly.

This store is very disorderly. The staff (young male abd female) were only interested is talking to each other in flirting way, not helpful to finding things. Definitely the worst DG I've been in. I hope it gets better.

The store is going down hill ! Very dirty and the manager is so rude and not friendly at all ! I’m handicapped and I have trouble getting down ailes with all the merchandise that hasn’t been put on shelves!! Some ailes you have to back up because of them being blocked!! ! I use to love going in there , but now I think twice about it 😡

The people at the store is always nice and helpful. But the overall cleanliness of the store is not. The outside and the inside is always dirty. Trash and more trash. Boxes all over the place. Like I stated the people that work at the store are nice but they definitely need more help at this store.

Love shopping at Dollar General Store, especially in the Raeford area. I have developed a good relationship with store employees. When I enter the store they readily share with me information regarding items I usually purchase. The employees show interest in assisting with product locations and practices good customer care.

Absolutely Love DG!!!! The only problem is that Aberdeen and Raeford NC are always out of alot of items due to lack of workers. There is always alot of stock everywhere. But as I said its due to lack of associates. Still a great store and I will continue to shop. Thanks for all of the affordable items!!!!

Omg! What a mess! Empty shelves...trash all over the floors, even under the isle shelving...boxes&carts in the way everywhere. Only one employee was even available&that was at the register. Tbh, I've never seen a messier store. I couldn't even buy what I needed because the shelves were so unstocked. If you can go to the next closest DG I would recommend doing so.

I agree with many other commentators on two points.First, it's an easy in and out with pleasant staff. Second, it's very cluttered and dirty. (Honestly, I thought this was a Dollar General "thing" until I shopped their location in Red Springs, NC. That location was squeaky clean!)Over the years, I've become accustomed to that clutter and kind of took it for granted...until this year when I started to use an assitive device for balance. Dang! Clutter makes it more than a bit irritating to manuever around! I'm just grateful that I CAN manuever. I can't imagine the difficulties someone in a wheelchair must encounter. For that matter, mom's with strollers can't have it too easy either.I suppose that's the tradeoff--quick in and out for those little items, with friendly folks who help, in exchange for the clutter.That's how a 3 star rating is balanced.

They made a big issue about 2 boxes of Kellogg's cereal that was on sale for 2/$5. Their register did not have it in their system for the sale price. They refused to change the price to the advertised price. So I left the cereal there. The manager on duty has a very poor attitude. She refused to help us locate an item earlier in my visit. I will go out of my way to go to another location.

This place is very unorganized, it's too much stuff in this location. It is a small store, with so many things you can easily knock something over of have something fall on you.

Went there today to buy Oil of Olay. This store is dirty, smelly, and messy. The Oil of Olay I wanted; they had 2 left; one was expired as of 2019, and the other one expired this month; March 2020. Smh. Where is Corporate, and management??? Check the expiration dates on the goods you buy from here. 👀👀👀

A lot of merchandise. But it is very cluttered. Every time I go in there, most aisles are blocked with new stock carts that needs to be shelved. I've had to move carts to help elderly people get items I'm there.

The guy wouldn't sell me 10 packs of cigarettes. He had 1 0 packs and let me get 8. He said he had other customers that needed them. I want go back to Raeford store.

This is one of the most disorganized stores I have ever been to. The staff is alright, it just depends on who is working. The store is a mess, you will risk tripping on something, and you wont be able to get any help finding what you need.
