This, Dollar General is a good place to stop in for your quick needs. They offer a good variety of grocery items and household items, as well as make up and seasonal. Their prices are very reasonable, and that store staff is usually very friendly.

The employees while friendly seemed detached from the costumers & unfamiliar with the products they sell. Also some products are out of date. I was going to buy a box of hostess zingers until I saw that every box was at least 2 months past the sell by date, when I mentioned it to the cashier she said she didn't know what zingers were, so I got a box & gave it to her hoping she would pull the rest & order some new. But the next day it was back on the shelf with the rest of them. If this situation was handled like that I can only imagine how many other products are out of date. I don't know because I haven't been back.

I love to stop by at any Dollar General. Sometimes, I find good things that other stores do not offer at a very good price especially at this time if the year - Spring time. The selection of gardening tools are good and the variety of seeds for starting your seeding trays are very economical.

The staff are very nice but this store is going down hill quickly. My last 2 visits there were no eggs. My last visit, no eggs, no mild sausage and no hotdogs. Prior visits, no dog food, no cat food, no pizza, no Polident. The eggnog was out of date and I have bought other items that were out date. Their milk also goes bad before the expiration date. Could have used my $5 coupons yesterday but went to Food Lion instead to make sure I could get everything in one stop.

Seen someone stealing I didn't tell because... Well they had bad vibes the day I walked in. Made me feel uncomfortable. They need loss prevention, so they don't keep getting robbed blind by the shoppers they least expect.

Need to fix your opening time on Google. Wasting people's time driving up there at 7 cause Google says your open but you ain't. Also the staff at this store is not friendly at all, that includes the manager. All the employees are grumpy old women that ain't never pleasent. Only reason I go in that store anymore is because it close, and I may just start going to Walmart so I ain't gotta deal with you unpleasant employees or you in correct sfvert

A nice lady that works there helped my daughter unexpectedly on the way out the door,by asking if she wanted more air in her balloon so it would last longer:),that is very thoughtful

Great variety if you dont want to hit your local dollar store or grocery store it is a great in between store! Digital coupons. Save me lots of money food lion accepts the dollar general 5$ off coupon as competition coupons which helps on the grocery bill, I shop for almost all household products here! Polkton has a amazing variety of products not seen in all dollar generals.

another Dollar General this time in Polkton look just like all the other ones had a lot of stuff sitting in the Isles so you can't get around them it's a good thing it's not a store that you go there to buy a bunch of stuff at one time because pushing a buggy around would be almost impossible other than that is Dollar General still like it
