Would give ten stars if I could.Update: My little Maya went in for her 1 year checkup and updated shots. They are still the ONLY place I would take her to. I just can't say enough good things about Brian Creek.

I cannot say enough good things about the people at Brown Creek.Our dog got out and got hit by a car. After much run around by two other offices we found Brown Creek. They have been amazing to work with through the long process of healing a broken leg, but they saved us thousands of dollars in the process.We're driving 15-20 miles farther than several other offices specifically to come to Brown Creek. They offer more services at much better prices and they're super friendly and very patient with a crazy hyper pit-husky mix with a broken leg.We won't take our animals anywhere else.

My Oreo had kidney stones, they removed it and incision looks wonderful, he's home and doing well!These animal lovers treat your fur babies just like their own. They show such love, and compassion. I will never go to another vet while I live in north Carolina, unless its for my bunny. This is the only vet I have found that really cares since I moved here from TN.Thank you all, at BCAH.

Think twice if you need a good vet. If you have a emergency you will get no help with Brown Creek. I have had two cases that I need emergency service, but they are always to full and can not help ya. They send you to a emergency clinic that will cost you 3 thousand dollars. At one time it was a family friendly vet but now, it's a screw you we can't help ya. Go some where else. DO NOT USE THEM. after dealing with them when you really need them you get a don't care addutudes and we are full. If you are so full, then stop taking on new pets. Pet lovers need a vet that is pet loving, there when you have a emergency and friendly.. Brown Creek is not that Vet..

We took our pit to Brown Creek and she was in kidney failure . They said there was nothing they could do to help her . So they had to put her down. They have us all the time we needed to say goodbye. It was hard bc she was so lovable . They have a great team and doctors! Highly recommend them!

Went there today (2/15/24), because my Monroe clinic had no appointments available until next week.My dog got cut on her left cheek by barb-wire in the woods and the wound was not healing quickly. I had been told that Brown Creek accepted walk-ins.We checked in before 2pm. I waited, waited and waited. No one gave us any updates or came to check on us. At 4pm, I had, had enough of waiting and decided to leave.I do not know about pets with appointments, but walk-ins get terrible service.When I was driving back to Roughedge they called my spouse about 4:20; that would have made it about a 2:45 minute waiting time.I hope I don't have to visit this place in an emergency with my pet.

We love Brown Creek Animal Hospital and have been happy with the wonderful care given to our four legged babies. The doctors and staff really do a great job, and make you feel like they are treating your pet as they would their own. Even when we have had kitties cross over the Rainbow Bridge, the staff was a great comfort to us. Plenty of time is dedicated to your visit and your needs are addressed and questions answered. The facility is always clean and pleasant smelling, with an upbeat atmosphere. I am thankful they are here for us and highly recommend them! ❤🐈‍⬛🐾

Brown Creek has been my vet clinic for at least a decade. I really like Dr. Wright but in general the entire staff is terrific, couldn't ask for more comprehensive veterinary care as they cover it all!

Always sees my fur babies quickly. All of the staff are super nice n have great customer service skills. One of my babies was very bad sick n I took him here n he stayed for 4 days n when I picked him up he was all better! Love this place wld give it 10 stars if I could. They r awesome!!

Moved back to the area and needed to find a vet. My dog had been itching, biting and chewing at his skin. I called around to different vets nobody was taking on new patients I called Brown Creek and they said to bring him in and they would work him in between people that had appointments. To me that says alot that they care about your animals. Thank you for getting Oakley in and helping relieve his itching.

An real honest to goodness genuine country vet! Where I am from in Maryland it is common to experience some predatory vet practices which leaves one with a very stressful situation when it comes to trusting someone to care for our beloved animals. Brown Creek has TONS of business and allows walk in so it is usually very crowded, an appointment can help avoid the crowd but remember they take emergencies too so sometimes a wait is unavoidable. The staff is honest, kind and courteous, the facility is cleaner than ANY vet I have been to in the whole DC area. We do drive our animals down to NC to visit this vet and only deal with vets in the dc area as a last resort. GREAT PLACE and I know my animals are in great hands.

I took a couple of my fur babies here even for an emergency when my puppy fractured his jaw and they were so gentle and friendly with him took him right on back and got started love this place so much wouldn’t go anywhere else they are awesome and understand your concerns for your babies.10/10

Been going here since they opened. I've always had cats and dogs. One complaint I have it that when a person is faced with putting their pet to sleep you have to pay $40 extra to be with them when they pass. This should be against the law. Not everyone has extra $.

My dog's untimely death was caused by an incident during boarding. I got a call from them Monday that a vet tech had found him in distress. I had just taken him for his check up a few weeks ago and told the vet his sugar had been dropping as low as 38 but it came back 70 her blood test so she said she was not worried about it. Last year I told them he had been slobbering more at his physical but he was given a clean bill of health. I talked to them 3 times about the importance of him being given the can food, syrup, and cookies I sent with him to keep his sugar up, and was assured I had nothing to worry about. They told me they did not have a freezer to store the food i made for him at home. On Monday about 6 pm they called and said they found him in distress, his blood sugar was 21, and he was having a very hard time breathing and he may not make it through the night because no one is there at night. We left our vacation early the next morning and picked him up. He walked into boarding, and came out strapped to a stretcher and was panting every breath. He was unable to walk, move his legs, or roll over. I became very upset, but was told the things I was saying were unnecessary by a staff member. We got him home where he continued to show no improvement. I had to roll him over so he could eat. We took him to another hospital yesterday and was advised that he had a lot of fluid in his abdomen and probably had cancer. They said it would be best to put him to sleep that all that had happened had probably exacerbated his unknown to us condition. They looked in disbelief that they sent him home like that. So I had to let my bestest good, good boy go. I am still so upset that they let this happen to him. I have taken my animals there since they first opened. My account number shows I was one of the first 100 to come there. I thought, and was assured, this would not happen. Secondary to losing what was priceless, my precious Toddy, what they neglected to do cost me about $700 as a result of this. The place is gone down hill and compassion has gone out the door. They left him in distress by himself over night after this happened due to their negligence. They put in back in stressful boarding instead of keeping him on the hospital side. Half the time they won't even answer the phone . I can't imagine what my dog had to endure while he was there. I have spent many thousands of dollars down there over the years but I will never spend one thin penny there again. Since sharing my story many others have come forward to say the same type of thing has happened to their animal in their care. Looks at their reviews on their Facebook page.

This is my dogs stomach after getting a walnut seized bump removed. The pooling pouch is blood and Dr Wright said this was not much. They refused to supply expensive emergency care for the vet confirmed botched surgery and continuous internal bleed. Told him I was leaving to have my dog put to sleep and he said have a good day. Nothing but high praise for Dr Skip Severt and everyone at Brown Creek Animal Hospital! The other dvms have been great too, but Dr Severt is usually the one my dogs see on regular basis. All are highly competent and the staff there always kind. And the cherry on top....their prices on services are very reasonable compared to most vets in and near Charlotte. They also take Care Credit, which is a lifesaver when you have multiple pets.
