This is always a super friendly store where everyone is willing to stop what they are doing to help you find the one little item that you need. The store is immaculately clean. Today, the minute you walked in, you could smell how clean it was. The aisles are organized and neat, and once again, the workers are the best.I go out of my way to shop at this Powells point store

This store is wonderful. The employees are very knowledgeable. This store is like the island visitor center lol. Want a good sit down restaurant? How to get beach fire permits? Where to go to get fresh seafood? The employees here have the answer and makes vacationing there a pleasure.They have everything for your beach vacation from food and drinks, to beach toys and towels as well as bed linens.

Standing there for 3-5 minutes while employee stood behind register texting on her phone instead of ringing me up..Second time employee Jen sat outside in a chair smoking cigarettes while 5-6 ppl waited in line to be rung up...one person walked out after he said he waited for 10 minutes and no one helped him. 😑 Jen should be fired.

The store has product out on floor in boxes... this is the 3rd day in a row. 3 employees in store.2 hiding from myself an other customers. I will not play hide n seek with a store manager. At Christmas in a overcrowded store. Not crowded with customers but with product on trucks blocking entry, and exits of aisles.

No matter what associates are working, they are always friendly and eager to help you find what you are looking for or answer any questions you may have about the products that they stock. The location is easily seen from the roadway and it is very conveniently located.

Nice clean large store with nice selection of merchandise. Great markdowns on some very cute jammies and outdoor summer supplies. Friendly staff too 😀

This afternoon, the store manager, Royanna Smith, first demoted, then fired, a 3-year employee, who has received many rewards from the district manager, Kenny Lanzo, over the years for her exemplary service at various Dollar General locations across 2 counties, because the employee has been ill lately and couldn't find someone to cover her shift this evening.It wasn't enough for Royanna Smith to just let her go, either. She also had to call another Dollar General location, to which the employee hoped to transfer, and sully her name with that store manager, as well.This employee is the one who convinced me that Dollar General was a good place to shop, locally, but no Dollar General will ever get another dime from me or my family. If this is how Dollar General allows people like Royanna Smith to treat its long-time, dedicated employees, they don't deserve my money.Maybe Dollar General should take a good, hard look at why it's employee turnover rate is so high. Goodbye, Dollar General!
