We will definitely stay here again if we're in the area. The room was very adequate. The interactions with the staff were all very good! The water was hot. There are ample choices for food and groceries within 2 miles. The road noise was minimal, especially when we ran the unit on "constant" fan speed. Great stay! Great addition to the OYO chain.

When I first arrived and saw the room I was afraid I had made a big mistake. The rooms are a bit run down and super dark. No overhead lighting. No deadbolt on the door. But the room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. There are many security cameras. The staff was nice. And there’s a nice area out front to sit and relax. It was actually cleaner than the Holiday Inn that is almost twice the cost.

Last-minute reservation, super friendly and accommodating. The bathroom is modern and immaculate. So convenient, room is clean, double bed is comfortable! The air freshener is a little strong but open the door and air the room out a bit, AC was off but room cools down quickly. Absolutely the best value for your $ in Plymouth.Safety: Security cameras and on site management.

I honestly do know who will ratte this place more than 1 star, if you like this place than your own place looks worse than this.It's dirty and smelly, right by the road, you can hear every car and truck passing by, and over priced, ridiculous! If you respect yourself add $30 and stay in a better place.

What initially started off as a weekend stay extended into almost 2 weeks. The Sportsman Inn located in Plymouth NC is truly a wonderful hotel. I have stayed at dozen of hotels across Eastern NC. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. The outside gazebo with a grill and swing was a nice touch. They really care about inside and outside maintenence. Wish we weren’t just passing through. Ever just melt into a bed? Well me either until I stayed here. This place was really my home away from home and I'll definitely be back soon.

It is super clean inside and outside. The owners are very accommodating. House cleaning ladys do a superb job. The bed is very comfortable. Pool has been filled in but there is a common area with grills, picnic tables, chairs, and swing. They are pet friendly. Hot coffee in the lobby every morning. Laundry area and both washer and dryer are very efficient and only have to run dryer 1 cycle. Satellite TV, microwave and fridge in room. Price is reasonable. I will stay here each time we are in this area.

Have wanted to stay here for years. Finally had the opportunity since we were doing kayaking in eastern NC. Stayed four nights here. Clean rooms and beautiful property. Wall air conditioner worked great. Jay, at the front office, was excellent to work with. They do not require a deposit. Coffee available in office each morning. They have a nice, covered picnic area with grills. Very quiet here. Easy in and out to Hwy 64. We had great kayaking opportunities. Lots of fishermen with large fishing boats stay here. Great parking area. Grocery and fast food nearby. Can't wait to stay here again. Thank you, Jay.

The terrible reviews and looking at the spooky photos with spider webs , dirty sheets and bugs it may be good to book for Halloween or a spooky adventure .

We saw this place while passing through to our destination and thought it looked nice. We went back that evening and got a room. They agreed to give us a late check out and provided us with an extra pillow. The hotel has been recently renovated and is very clean. The room was very clean and comfortable. I never could get the WiFi password to work but I had a decent cell signal so it t was no big deal. The air was cold the water was hot and good water pressure, so we were happy. We will stay again if in the area.

My husband travels a lot with work and on occasions when I can get time off I travel with him. So we stay at a lot of hotels and this has been one of my favorites. Very quiet and nice the guy at the front desk was wonderful and very sweet housekeeping done a great job really enjoyed my four days here. Very nice clean place to stay. Great hospitality

Saw this property a few months ago while riding through. Made a mental note to stay here if I was back in the area. I was today. This is a very nice, clean, renovated property. Look no further if you are in Plymouth. One issue that prevented it from being 5 star. The mattress is wrapped in plastic! This might be an extreme method to prevent stains, etc. but it makes for a miserable night's sleep! Hot, doesn't breath, sweat, crinkles when you move. Eventually mattresses have to be replaced. Face it. Just a cost of doing business. It is still a good hotel.

Incredibly clean room and bathroom, nice new décor. Check in was a breeze and when I could not find something the lady at the desk was very helpful. Nice large sized TV and super cool Air Conditioner. Microwave and fridge were immaculately clean as were the tub, sink and toilet. I would highly recommend this motel and I would definitely stay here again.

Modest accommodations. Bedding was clean. Bug free. Not sure if walls are thin or if my coworkers/neighbors were just being very loud which would not be a rare occurance. The flush lever on the toilet was in need of repair but all in all succeeded in it's function after some minor manipulation. Water pressure in shower was acceptable and I never ran out of hot water. The water can be made very very hot for which I was grateful and in need of to wash off the grime and dirt from work.

I have been staying here for almost 20 years when I fish the area. Had reservations for 2 months to get to the hotel to check in and find out that someone erased my name and number from the reservation list. Not happy to say the least.

Place was very clean and comfortable. Check in easy and friendly. They have coffee available in the lobby in the AM. I was asked what time I wanted it ready. Since we were there for an early morning visit to the Pocosin Lakes Refuge to look for bears I told them 5AM. It was ready!

I have been staying at the motel every for some time now due to working out of town.It has been a very comfortable stay.Friendly staff, clean rooms, and just minutes away from grocery stores, a laundromat, and several places to eat as well local shops.It also has 100.0 grade rating. I highly recomend.
