I will not go back to this pharmacy. The window was closed in the afternoon when people are coming home from work. The inside line was 20 people deep. I have stood in line here for 45 minutes for a prescription that I had to have. Never again. I will drive to Apex

Late night customer service is the worst. Daytime customer service is great so if you want any prescriptions go during the day.

Jessica, in the pharmacy, may be the most unfriendly, rude, dismissive and unhelpful person I have ever dealt with in my life and I've been a bartender for 15 years lol.Pharmacy departments internal communication is embarrassing and their apps timeline or general accuracy with anything is even more so.Sandy, in the pharmacy is absolutely fabulous, as is the charming black gentleman that helped me at the pharmacy last night.Unfortunately, My interaction with Jessica this moring FINALLY convinced me and We officially switched to PITTSBORO PHARMACY this morning and will not be back, for anything.

We are so fortunate to have access to this store. The staff are considerate and professional. Kudos to all of the pharmacy staff especially Pharmacist Kristina . She couldn't have been more kind or considerate during recent vaccination visits. And, wonderful care from Tyler....thanks for giving me my 2021 influenza vaccine!

I like the store. It’s not too crowded, they have decent sales and the employees are very nice. My only suggestion might be that there be more staff checking out or asking if you need help at times. The pharmacy runs smoothly and vaccine appointments are on time. What I’m not a fan of, at all Walgreens- MOST sales are buy one get another at 50% off. I don’t want to have to buy two of some thing if I just want one or feel like I’ve over paid because I only want one. I’d love it if something were on sale it would just be on sale.

The staff is always polite and helpful, but the pharmacy is poorly managed. If there is a problem with a prescription you are not notified and you must walk the staff person through it on the phone or in person. Whoever takes care of the drug inventory is not doing a very good job, as some common drugs have to be ordered...an added 1-2 days to get the refill. I try to order refills at least 4 days in advance but even then there can be problems that have to be resolved in person. I’ve never had these kinds of problems at other pharmacies.

Rx is terrible by any standard. If it involves anything other than scanning a bar code and handing the customer the receipt they are not only unable to help but are actively hostile to the customer.

I've been waiting on my pain patches for days the withdrawal are crazy migrains and ect. They where suppose to be in today and no luck agin been waiting since July 10th now they saying Thursday this is ridiculous.

Was forced to go here when PBO discount closed. Prescriptions are costing me a lot more and they are NEVER ready even when I get a text saying they are. I have even arrived, stood in line and then be told that it’s not in stock and come back in two days. One script has a coupon from the manufacturers website and Walgreens never applies it without a 10 minute hassle and delay after I have already stood in line for 20 minutes. Some of the rudest people I’ve ever met at a pharmacy. This may be because they seem understaffed and overwhelmed but I am done being a customer here. My one star was being very generous.

I get notified that my prescription is ready for pickup, drive down and it's not ready. Every time I wait in line, when it's my turn and Morgan is at the register, she goes to the back and someone else comes out to help me, and then she comes out to help the next person. I have never ever been treated so bad anywhere! I was way ahead on my prescription which I do not pay for, and I told the girl I didn't need it and she said well, take it anyway, it's free. Really??? I already have plenty at home!!

Switching to them after over a decade going to the CVS off 15-501. First impressions were very good. The lady at the drive through, Sandy, was super nice, and very informative, and made sure I understand what was going on. Felt like she actually cared about helping me, which after that long at CVS, I forgot what that felt like.I'm very happy. Thank you, Sandy.

Last week I called the pharmacy, spoke with a pharmacist about getting my second booster, 4th shot. I was very clear. He knew what I wanted. I asked are there any rules that prevent me from coming in and getting a second booster. He said no, just schedule an appt. I call again today to schedule as CNN states for Pfizer required at 5 months not 6. So, my 6 months runs out in February. This new pharmacist was quite rude and said no I will be turned away if I try to come in and get a second booster. I am immune compromised. So, I guess I just stay in and hibernate until I am allowed to get a second booster as my protection is waining. Turning away those that WANT a second booster. Pathetic!!

This place is massively understaffed. If I wish to talk to the pharmacist, hold times approach 30 minutes ... with the lie ... "one caller ahead of you." We got to pick up scripts and the drive through line has five cars, and five people in line in the store.I have auto refills, but ... oops ... they forgot to fill one!!!As well, I use a name brand makeup they carry -- but the slot has been empty for over three months.Call me out of here. The only way they could be worse is if they dispensed the wrong medicines.

I’ve seen the other reviews below, however my experiences have been very different. The employees here have always been excellent, treating me hospitably and volunteering to assist.The pharmacy staff have consistently been courteous and helpful, going out of their way to explain things or get any items.I really appreciate the story and its staff!It’s my pleasure to shop there and I prefer to have my prescriptions filled there as well!

This has been my pharmacy and drug store of choice for a small number of reasons. First, I have always been treated well when doing business or simply asking questions at the pharmacy counter. Answers are not always available but the manner with which the store personnel deal with me is nice.Second, prescriptions are typically ready when stated though a few mishaps have occurred with that. Nothing should be required as perfect and, so, I understand when mistakes happen. As long as it is relatively few or rare, I am satisfied with that.Third, their location and reaching the drive-thru window for in-car service are easy to use. I have found the tech's or pharmacists waiting on me at the window are, again, always so very respectful and pleasant even when rushed.Lastly, prices are competitive even with the discount service available at another location. Not always the best, but I have never encountered a situation of grossly higher costs as I have at Walmart.

They merged with a Local Pharmacy and now you can’t get a prescription. It’s almost like being forced into pay delivery systems for meds. No need to wait in line 30 mins to pull up to a mean individual working the window.Before they were always friendly and helpful. And you only had to wait 10-15 mins for your script if you were really sick. If you told them how sick you were sometimes they helped even further... Not this new bunch!!!!Now it could be 30-45 mins and when someone is running a 102.9 fever that’s the last thing they want is a mean person working the window.I hope the new CVS does for in across from Lowe’s.

Employees are either lazy, rude or both. Have asked for a specific flavor of a product multiple times since we moved right down the street and have always been met with a nonchalant response. Every other Walgreens store I have lived near has always accommodated my request, but not in Pittsboro. The pharmacy workers are just as bad. I guess they don't have enough competition around here to do better...

This pharmacy is terrible even by Walgreens standards. You are always going to wait in line. Always. They seem to be chronically understaffed. I've had to use them for the past 7 years. Just moved to Durham and found an independent, neighborhood pharmacy. Can't wait to never set foot in the Pittsboro Walgreens again.

Awful service, Drive Through Window attendants never smile. I wonder if they are overworked and underpaid or just hate their jobs. If you are unhappy do something else. Calling is not any better, multiple touches on the phone to get the pharmacist and long wait times.

They never have meds filled when supposed to. They constantly give wrong size needles that I’m not able to use. Frequently out of stock on meds needed to fill. Every time dr sends in prescriptions, their computers are “down”. This place is a joke, transferring meds to 501 pharmacy. They have free delivery and fill all meds ON TIME. Get it together, Walgreens. Don’t buy out the only other pharmacy in town if you can’t take care of the customers needs!

Used to be a customer of Pittsboro discount and was forced over to Walgreens as it’s our only option in town. They’re painfully slow, rude, and overwhelmed. I have no idea why they’d take on pittsboro drug customers if they’re unable to handle it. My prescription prices jumped 300% and they have a line down the aisles. I’ve been in line now for 20 minutes.

This place has no clue how to fill Rx. When in line, it's not unusual for them to send people away with "your prescription is not ready". After using their automated system, havi g them blame my Dr. and 3 times not having my prescription ready, I am done with Walgreens.

The pharmacy is the worst! Out of prescriptions they knew they needed to fill the day before, said they would have it for two more days, then took them hours and hours to transfer to another pharmacy and hung up on me when I called them to expedite the process!

I have never had an issue with the pharmacy! Most of the time the issues are insurance not the employees in the pharmacy. Go to the cvs on 15/501 then you can learn how bad a pharmacy can be.

This is my primary pharmacy. I've been going here for over 5 years. But it's the staff that makes this place special. I pretty much know everybody on a first name basis and they know me!
