I have visited the store multiple times and have always found it full of special toys of top quality curated with care to appeal to children of different ages and interests. What makes the place really great, though, is the owner. She's attuned to kids and genuinely wants them--and parents--to walk out the door happy. What more can you ask from a toy store?

Just wanted to share that we have been extremely grateful to have Samantha as a business neighbor and guide when buying for our nieces and nephews, and for the children of our friends. She is extremely dedicated to curating unique and exceptional toys, games, books etc. in a locally owned, small business environment. Pittsboro is lucky to have her and her shop downtown! Highly recommend Pittsboro Toys for an out of the ordinary shopping experience :)

Worker threatened to call the cops on my kids while they were playing with the puppets that we were going to buy at the end of our trip to the store. When I tried to explain this to her she told me I had to leave since my kids were “breaking her stuff”. Very unprofessional, will not be returning.

You can find everything at hobby lobby and walmart. No trains. Not much in the way of specialty toys

I stopped in today to look for a board game. This was my first visit but sadly it looked like no one takes any pride in the space. Empty disheveled shelves, leaves, dust bunnies and debris all over the floor. All in all I would be happy to amend my review should I return and things looked better but sadly this won't be a place that's top of mind for me when shopping locally for toys.

The owner of the store was extremely rude and disrespectful. The store itself was cramped and overpriced. Would definitely not recommend.

Cute little toy store. The owner is friendly and has the friendliest dog sitting at the counter with her. There's a good variety of toys and my friend and I bought some (we're kids at heart). My only complaint is that it is a little messy and disorganized.

This is a great stop in Pittsboro. I love the space with the old wood flooring. They stock a good mix of toys for really young up through just young. You can find your usual stuff like Melissa & Doug as well as educational placemats. Also, the owner has a great dog that helps her keep shop.

My family stopped to visit Pittsboro Toys around 2:30pm on a Saturday. Google and Facebook says they were open, the sign on the door said open but the door was locked and no one answered the phone. My kids we’re very disappointed that they couldn’t come in to pick out a toy. If you’re going to be closed, please put a sign up in the door that you had to close unexpectedly.
