A hometown hardware store that has a huge selection of supplies pretty much anything you need for home and garden. A wonderful local resource! Friendly and helpful owners. They really support local as there are numerous locally made products and supplies as well. Plus the UPS shipping station. Well worth browsing around the store because you'll probably find exactly what you've been looking for in your home or garden.

Nice little store. Friendly store employees. The exception being a cashier.My husband asked the cashier if they carried an item, and she looked at him and said, "I don't know. Did you look?" Well, yes, we looked. I had to ask her if maybe she could call someone to find out. Her answer was, " I guess." Well, I guess I can spend my money somewhere that the employee doesn't have an attitude. I'm sorry, I thought you were getting paid to work and represent the Hardware store. Lowe's is right around the corner. Keep that in mind next time you want to be smart.

Stood at the paint area for 10 minutes waiting for help to get some samples while 3 employees were at the check out area where they could all see me and no one ever came to ask if I needed help.

I’m from Florida and while visiting friends stopped into Hardware General to get a drink and saw their beautiful outdoor section and ending getting some cool things my wife really likes! Highly recommend!

Today I stopped in with my toddler on my back. An employee noticed me and immediately offered to help me find what I needed, carried my items for me, and even ran my receipt out to the parking lot when I forgot it.Everyone was so nice to us and never made me feel bad for bringing a child into the store.

Very clean and organized.Aisles spaced out. Friendly and helpful staff. Wide variety of items- things you wouldn't expect to find in a hardware store. I thought I would spend 15 minutes in the store but browsed over an hour. Shortly after my expected 15 minutes... I needed a cart. Employee recognized my need and brought a cart to me with a smile!!!

Stopped by for the first time last week and was blown away by the customer service at this place. Sonny (the manager/owner, I think?) is incredibly welcoming and helpful. He’s a lifelong Pittsboro resident who wants to ensure you find what you need, learn more about your home & garden care, and have a great experience. Give this place your business if you want to meet to your hardware store needs and lift your spirits at the same time.

Called in for bird seed and a new feeder, they have a good stock, with plenty of selection and I picked up a great Audubon squirrel proof feeder at a reasonable price. They also have some very nice garden ornaments. You should definitely try them, locally owned is better than some big box options!

Just dropped into our new local hardware store in Pittsboro.I have to say it’s really impressive. And due to their highly sought after manager the customer service is impeccable. Mr. Blake runs a tight ship but they have earned my business for life.I will never return to Lowe’s this store has absolutely everything you need and if they don’t it can be ordered.Mr. Blake took the time to show me around the entire store and locate everything that I needed. It honestly reminded me of my small town hardware store in Kansas. I look forward to going back and receiving that old school personal experience that was provided to our grandparents. What a refreshing experience.

Top-notch customer service as three employees went out of their way to be extremely helpful and help me carry plants and soil to my car. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. So incredibly friendly!!!

Local hardware stores are always a treat. This one just opened a couple of weeks ago.The staff is so helpful and very knowledgeable. So when you're there say hello to Ginny (sp?) and Maddie...And they offered to order anything that they didn't have in stock to try to get it for me!

What a small town hardware store should be. They have just about everything for the DIY person and it’s always good to have choices between here and Lowe’s. I’ll pay a little more for personal service and to support local businesses, but the prices seem similar to Lowe’s and Home Depot anyway.

Not nolegble service people and messy information. For every question someone have to go ask the manager and come back 10 minutes later. Did he went for coffee break? Who knows.
