I usually don't write reviews for Dollar Generals. THEY ARE ALL PRETTY MUCH THE SAME.THIS Dollar General in PITTSBORO, NC, it has been Remodeled. Not that it will change anything. It will look awesome for a month and then the employees will let it get back to how it was. .The Pittsboro NC Dollar General has so much expired product on the sales floor.....MAKE SURE YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE EXPIRATION DATES ON THE PRODUCT BEFORE YOU PUT IT IN YOUR SHOPPING CART! MOST OF THE PRODUCT IS SERIOUSLY OUT OF DATE OR CLOSE TO THE EXPIRATION DATE!!!

The aisles are a little small to go down and when they have stock on the floor, it makes it difficult for someone with a cane to shop. But on the other side of this - the store seems to be busy all the time so I can understand the stock being on the floor. Whereas this might be a small annoyance for me, it probably won't bother someone else. l still managed to get my shopping done and they always seem to have everything I need. The staff is courteous and polite.

LOVE THIS STORE! The employees are always so nice! We joke around together, which makes my shopping experience pleasant... shout out to Taylor & Mandy 😘 I enjoying coming to see my friends at the DG & finding their great deals 😊

Staff is very helpful and friendly. My only complaint is that it is hard to maneuver through parts of the store. Almost every time I have been in there, there are large stocking carts blocking some of the aisles, but one of the staff will move them if you need to look at something behind one of them.

Cheap pricing but getting around the store is ridiculous. I used to go in and shop every week but I hardly ever shop there anymore because there are too many end cap displays and the aisles are too narrow. If you have a cart, you are constantly having to move it or back up to accommodate the smaller space. I only go in if I really need something quick.

I had a nice shopping experience at the Pittsboro location. The store didn't feel crowded. (some of the Dollar General stores are small and feel too crowded) The prices were clearly marked. No waiting to check out.

Today I stood in a line that was back to the end of the store that didn’t move. Two customers behind me put up there stuff and left. After the line never moved, I did the same. When I was walking out the door, I said the line is to the back of the store and people are leaving. One cashier was open and the other stood at the other register texting on her cell phone. Terrible customer service.

Usually pretty organized and clean... this visit was different. Everything was in such disarray that my 3yr. old gave up on finding a special "potty prize" because it became, and I quote, "...too much work mommy, huh"

This store is always cluttered. Barely have anything in stock it's ridiculous. It needs new management DESPERATELY. This store is in dieing NEED of Reconstruction seriously. To bad it's the only one in Pittsboro so I HAVE no choice but to go to thiS STORE.

Dollar General in Pittsboro is a very handy store. It's well stocked and the attendants are great. The floors are always dirty but hey you can't have it all!

Sales items are often mislabeled, our cashier was rather ride, but manager was friendly. Rarely go to this particular location due to store always looking a mess.

Very organized, able to push a cart through isles, unlike Sanford store on Hawkins Ave. I travel from Sanford to Pittsboro or Broadway to shop, even though Hawkins Avenue is within a couple miles of home and work. The employees are friendly also in Pittsboro.

great place to shop all the time great people and great staff during the day and most of the time really nice bathrooms are always clean when i go great place all n all to shop and they sell some things that way you dont have to go to food lion all the time lol

They always greet you when you enter. A few products on sale vs Food Lion or larger chains. A few neat finds too

I love DG. The Dollar Tree has invaded our area and taken over. The Dollar General is out of my way but I go for pet supplies and medical incidentals.
