Excellent. Large selection of organic and natural products for home and garden. Very helpful staff who are ordering a product for me too. Highly recommend this local store. Went back again and bought a lot of plants for fall... Collards, lettuce, Swiss chard, parsley and some perennial flowers.Hilary is extremely helpful and knowledgeable! Today I got milky spore for Japanese beetle control and nematodes for the grubs that destroy grass and other plants.

Always worth checking out what they have. Hard to find propane tanks, they have different sizes. I prefer to get my rabbit food here.

We get ALL our homestead feed from here. We have rabbits, chickens and a huge garden. We have purchased berry bushes, fruit trees and vegetable seedlings here and have had great success with all of them.

Great selection and friendly service. Lots of plants and potato slips for your garden. A good rotation of baby birds for your backyard chickens, ducks, and such. They have a good beekeeping section too, if that’s your thing. This is the perfect place for people that are a little more experienced with gardening or homesteading. Much better specialized selections than a box store like Lowes, and much more knowledgeable staff.

Antonio makes loading and smart deliveries a breeze, his forethought when delivering into a tight space and dumping topsoil so as not to impact the HVAC air handler, was beyond amazing to see when I returned home. Great store. About every type of livestock and dog feed you could need. A lot of equipment (waterers, feeders, etc) Loads of gardening supplies and seeds. They even have a bee supply room. O ly problem - We waited and wandered around for a while - probably 5 minutes - as employees walked by, before anyone asked if we needed help. The employees are very knowledgeable, made suggestions and helped load our feed.

Great store, friendly and helpful staff. Good stock of all things and some unique outdoor plants. Also buy/order our chicks through this store. They are always healthy and survive, never had any issues. If you are thinking of visiting, I recommend it. Their prices are also competitive.

Went there for the first time after reading reviews and decided to make the trip. Truly a full fledged country farm store and I love it! I purchased several small beehive boxes to assemble my self as well as 5 fruit trees to expand my fruit orchard. Staff is truly helpful and I had my own personal helpers. 2 children of the shopkeeper. They were great! Willingness to assist, smart, followed instructions to the letter .... Truly a joy to have met them. This is a must visit for all your farm, garden, livestock and apiary needs. I'd recommend you visit their website. It's time to support our local businesses!

The perfect place for those of us who treat our backyard garden like a smallscale farm (and great for actual farmers too). Good selection and competive prices. We heard about this place from the people at Seven Springs Farm up in Virginia and since it's a much shorter drive from Raleigh, we'll definitely be back!

Never have I had an experience that was less than stellar. Everyone is so helpful and they seem like they enjoy working there. They have on several occasions taken time out to help me with chicken issues or horse feed questions. Family owned and it shows. They take great pride in what they do.

Check their return policy before you buy anything at this storeI used to purchase topsoil, mulch, grass seeds, tools, etc. at this place. About a month ago I purchased some plants. Everything seems to be doing fine, except a couple of raspberries. I took it back, hoping to get either a replacement or a refund. This was a small thing ($10) and any other place (small nurseries or larger garden stores) gives a refund for up to one year. To my surprise, I was told that they do not give any refund. This is the last time I went to this place.

Knowledgeable staff who are friendly and willing to offer advice on a number of topics. What you'd expect in a garden/farm supply store but often don't find. Really appreciate how they price plants by pot size as you can find some deals during the season with a keen eye. Also really appreciate they kept a PDF updated on their site of plants and prices weekly. Probably a lot of work but appreciated!!

What's not to love? Personal attention to the container gardener as well as the cattle farmer. Good, honest advice, excellent products and fair pricing. I drive 40 miles to come here, sometimes making it a day trip visiting local eateries and breweries.

They have most everything you could possibly need and a friendly and helpful staff to get you set up. Some things are a little bit pricier than other places, but if you have a list then what you might pay less for somewhere else is worth the little but extra not to have to drive all over the county. Highly recommend!

Grew up going to this store with my daddy. We'd always leave with a Nehi drink which you couldn't find in Sanford at the time. The place hasn't changed much and that's a good thing. If you want to create memories bring your kids by instead of going to a big box for all your feed & seed needs. You will be glad you did! My daddy is gone now and I'm thankful for the memories...most important is the simple things.

Ok, so I have dabbled with gardening for a few years and decided this year to go all in and raise some real crops. I found this gem of a store and talked to the nice lady behind the counter about my plans. She gave me some recommendations and I followed them. Being a pessimist I over planted my seedlings figuring I would mess something up and not have the best success. Well, I was wrong. The advice I got and the products I used based on the recommendations gave me well over 95% germination rate. My neighbors are the beneficiaries for sure since I am sharing all the extras. I have been back a few times since to get more help on the next steps and am looking forward to a bountiful year. Great place, great prices, great staff. I live in Garner and drive all the way there without hesitation! Keep it up!

The kind of friendly, helpful people you would imagine work at a local farm and garden place, do indeed, here. Get your newly hatched chickens, plus all the stuff you need to house and feed them, good dirt and mulch, heirloom seeds and more. I'm not sure if the selection is larger, or cheaper, if I can buy it here I will, just to keep them around.

Oh my goodness! I loved this place! Part hip urban garden center, part old time feed store. If you grow or raise anything CF&H has something you need...or, at least, need to look at. It's a destination! I came from a bit over an hour away to pick up strawberries, spent an hour and left w/ garlic, blueberries and chicken scratch grain.Everyone I spoke with was friendly, funny and so knowledgeable.Pittsboro should be proud of this gem. If you haven't been-it's absolutely worth the trip!
