The owner is friendly, knowledgeable, and knows how to make some of the best donuts and specialty coffee I’ve had! Thank you for an amazing experience! This is THE BEST coffee truck I’ve ever been to.

Went out of my way to find this place on the map so I could leave a review !! The first day on vacation spent in Brevard, I ended up getting the “Breakfast shake”, I needed some protein before my hike and it was soo good!!The second day I got a vanilla iced latte. I don’t have pictures of neither unfortunately because I drank them so fast lol. Wish I had this place back home. 10/10

Whaaattt a travel truck that has coffee. A damn good selection too. It's perfectly located just before you hit the mountain range. Knowing I might be going hiking I was very excited to see she had a protein shake that she puts espresso in! It's so good! The owner was super cool too. Been here next to The Hub for three years and seems to have favorites of customers coming in. I love her support of local milk too. Supporting the local community is always a plus in my mind!

Ordered the mini donuts: cinnamon and sugar. The donuts were warm and so soft that they melt in the mouth. We took 1/2 dozen at first but went back again for more 1/2 dozen.The regular coffee was also good.

I love to camp and around Brevard is a great place, but I also like good coffee which I haven't figured out how to make in a campground. Stopped in here with my daughter and both of us had the best coffee we could remember. I had the Americana / coffee and she had the dirty chai. Pup cups for the dogs of course... Came back the next day for two different drinks and they were awesome as well.Seems like there can be a bit of a wait during the peak morning rush but it doesn't last long and it's well worth the wait anyway.Hopefully I'm not messing up the ranking by giving only four stars... especially when I'm not sure what to improve, but I'm a tough grader so don't let that throw you, it's great coffee. Almost forgot! she gave us some great tips for vegan food in Asheville and a couple of cool places to check out in the area as well. Now I really feel like a jerk for only giving four stars!

Great experience this morning! We both enjoyed our selections (the dirty Velvet Revolver and a brown sugar cinnamon latte) and had a nice chat with the proprietor. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!

I don’t do sugar or cream in my bean water so I can’t speak much to any other than black coffee, but my iced Americano was stellar! The service is awesome - incredibly friendly and very cheerful. And those little donuts 10/10 recommend the salted chocolate! *Chef’s kiss* 🏼 Keep up the awesome work y’all!

It was delicious. We got zebra donuts and salted caramel donuts. We didn't notice the salted part of the caramel and we didn't get the white chocolate part of the zebra but we all loved the taste. Neat stop.

Extremely yummy bite size doughnuts made while you wait. You’re letting yourself down if you don’t eat at least 8. You have to try the salted caramel doughnuts- they were to die for. Iced coffee was delicious and strong. Enjoyed sitting by the fire to consume the doughnuts and then got a beer from the brewery. Nothing better after a hike is Pisgah!

I love this coffee truck! I've ordered coffee at this location at least 15 times, and each time has been fantastic. Their whipped cream is delicious, they use paper straws, there are always interesting specials, and those donuts are UH-MA-ZING. My go-to drinks are the Dirty Chai Frappe (pictured) and the Dirty Velvet Revolver. The Hub shares their picnic tables, so there is somewhere nice to sit, and there are lots of cool nearby shops and breweries. 10 out of 10!

During last two months, I got coffee from Velvet Cup several times and it was really good and strong. I got the Apple Pie latte twice and it was expensive but so so delicious.Last Sunday, however, I got the worst coffee I probably ever had. It was so bad then when I tasted it, I thought I might had gotten covid, because it didn't even taste like coffee! If I am to compare the flavor to anything, it tasted like the water you soak your dirty rags in.The lady working there was rude. There was a long line and she did nothing to speed things up, just every so often looked angrily at the line.We ordered four coffees total. All of them tasted terrible. One order was messed up (received plain espresso, not what we ordered).While paying, I finally realized why do I pay so much for coffee: the charge for almond milk was $1.50, which I consider outrageous.I am never returning again.

Based on my customer experience I will not come here again.. There was a line of about 4 but judging by how confident the barista was to handle things themselves after being asked if they needed help (by a coworker I assume) I was sure a question about the menu wouldn’t be harmful. They shared some playful banter while they were finishing up the order before mine as well, so I really wasn’t expecting my interaction with them. Shortly into our interaction I felt like an inconvenience for having questions about the menu. I’ve never been to this state, let alone this coffee shop so I did have a total of two questions. That seemed to aggravate the barista because I got told to take a look at the menu. I did reread it & genuinely tried not to cause trouble - I only had questions because I struggle with dyslexia.. & that can leave you confused when you can’t always make out the words as fast as others. I tried to ask for a RECOMMENDATION, & got the same response again. I feel like especially with how everything is priced fairly high, you shouldn't feel uncomfortable for asking a question/ or recommendation. Eventually had to walk away because I started to feel very anxious/embarrassed. My partner ordered what he wanted by themselves afterward and I went back to the car & sat. My partner didn’t have any complaints about their drink they said, I didn’t think the drink they got for me tasted very good at all. Overall we agreed it would’ve had an overall better experience if I was given patience for my questions.. Or maybe another response beside “there is the menu.” ):

Do you like coffee? Do you love donuts? Then absolutely dont pass a chance to stop here!!!After spending the morning biking through brevard we were looking for an afternoon caffeine fix when we found this little coffee wagon. Not only did we get some of the best coffee, but the Donuts!!! Excellent!! Get the full dozen!! I guarantee you will be coming up with excuses to come back to brevard just to get more donuts!!

I had the bee sting latte and my boyfriend had the nutter butter latte. Both were delicious without being overly sweet and heavy. The doughnuts also smelled so good but we didn’t try any. Maybe next time! Definitely recommend this little truck especially if heading into Pisgah for the day.

We loved everything. The mini-donuts are just totally awesome. I would drive an hour just to get them. Of course the coffee is really good and the selection is great. But don't overlook the Italian sodas. The orange italian soda is one of the best things I've ever tasted period. You have just got to try it.

This place is so good! We got the Velvet Revolver coffee and the Iced Chai Latte with the 1/2 dozen doughnuts! It was freshly made, tasted wonderful, and absolutely perfect for a cold December day. You will not be disappointed in your service or your refreshments!

Just Rude and a Little Pricy. Stopped here on a slow weekday afternoon and the lady seemed annoyed instead of happy to have any business. Ordered two espresso drinks and were debating the doughnuts- instead of talking us into getting them she said "Make Up Your Mind" even though we were the only customers. We would have purchased 2 orders of doughnuts and another espresso drink if she was friendly. Upcharge for non-dairy is 0.95+tax
