Coolest bike shop I've been to. My favorite part is the service section, because they have a bunch of super nice bike parts stocked up on the shelves like handlebars and headsets and all that. Love it.

Hands down the coolest bike shop I have ever been to. After getting my Floridian a** handed to me by a trail they warm up on(Sycamore Cove), I stopped in for a beer and a chat. Everyone was welcoming, I went there multiple times during our stay. The Hub is the first place I went to after nailing a tree coming down Ridgeline, nothing like a cold beer after a nice wreck. Definitely a must see if you’re in the area, even if you’re not a cyclist or outdoorsy.

I was in Asheville to visit and had traveled with my enduro bike from Bellingham, WA. . I had a hub failure on my first climb. Brought in my bike to The Hub and I have never had a better experience at a bike shop. They went above and beyond and did whatever it took to get me back out on the trails and enjoying my trip. Kelly got me set up with a temp wheel and I can’t thank you all enough for how awesome you were. You made a terrible situation a great experience and I can’t rave enough about the customer service.

Having worked in retail for over 20 years i really appreciate a store that is very welcoming and fosters a sense of community. I came in and needed a tire replaced on the fly to go for a ride. Nick was super helpful and knowledgeable. He made great gear suggestions and pointed me in the right direction for trail suggestions. Keep up the great work. Ride on!!!

The thing I like about here is you can rent the bike before you buy it and they go hand over foot to make sure it rides correctly. I rented both the Hightower and megatower, ultimately decided on purchasing the megatower. Mike was super helpful in answering my random questions throughout the weeks I was making up my mind. Seems like they have a great staff. Will only buy from here from here on out!

Long term review of the Hub. All the staff here are great ambassadors of Brevard and biking/outdoors in general and this review is more about the bike mechanics and sales staff. Two years ago I had never been on a mountain bike but after renting a bike from the Hub I was hooked. I bought my first bike there and Rusti was there when I picked it up and he set up me up with training advice and overall newbie tips and he has been my go to guy ever since. The attitude with the mechanics is how can I get you back on the trails and give you the best advice. They never have that stuck up attitude I have seen in many other bike shops.Over the last two years I have had a friend join me in Mountain biking with his rental and then purchase and he was also amazed with the service and can do attitude. I have brought some different (Priority 600) non mountain bikes in for service and no matter how busy they are they take the time to figure out what needs to be done and fast. With out a great bike shop like the Hub I most likely would have never continued in the sport. I just purchased my first full suspension from Bill, Rusti and Michael (who set me up at pick up) and once again it was a great experience. Hats off to the owners and management of this great Brevard spot.

The Hub is always a good place to come when you're making a trip down Brevard. A great selection of bicycles and cycling related clothing. The food trucks are a plus so delicious and the bar is nice as well. The staff is knowledgeable about the local trail system and very nice and helping you get to where you're going or getting you anything you need for your riding adventure.

Fantastic spot we happened upon after a hike in Pisgah. Cute shop and great selection of local beer on tap and in cans. You can enjoy your beer on the patio or as you walk around the store.

Rented the Santa Cruz Nomad from the Hub for a weekend of East coast riding... Phenomenal support from the staff in-store and on the phone. Renting experience was seamless (which never happens) and the online reservation/payment process was a huge plus. Thanks guys!

Highly recommend this bike shop. Bought my son a 24" Norco mountain bike this past Saturday. Super friendly and helpful. Monday morning found the front tire was flat. Took it in Tuesday and they fixed it no charge in less than 10 minutes even though my boy had ridden it nonstop for three days. They will have my business for many years to come.

So I just went in to get some delta 8, and I saw they only had a ten pack of gummy’s for $35. I’m on a tight budget like most of us are these days and was hoping for something smaller and less expensive. I understand they do not provide this and I’m totally ok with that. I ended up asking the lady at the counter if they had anything smaller, and she ended up being a little rude to me. The way she carried her self and her facial expression was off. It was just a question, and she would be the one to ask. I didn’t get her name, but she has long wavy blonde hair in a ponytail, and is working the register at around 1:45pm 12/27/23.

The Hub and Pisgah Tavern is staffed by great folks who are always willing to help out and make the experience an easy process. I rented bike packing gear from the Hub and they help me fit the gear, made sure it was what I needed, and answered all my questions. Top quality service and so excited to have bike packing gear that is rentable. That way I can try things out before I purchase them! Highly recommend the Hub for your rental needs!

This place is the bomb. Great service and beer. Place can be swamped but most customers coming here know what they’re coming for and staff was accommodating and gave great service on my bike on the spot. Don’t know how you could possibly not give it 5 stars. It’s an all time spot.

Let me get this straight. I can park my car here, go inside and get a great ride recommendation, embark on an epic ride from the parking lot, on some of the best trails anywhere, and then ride back to the Tavern, and order one (or three) of the many local and regional beers on tap, and then browse the bike shop, and then reminisce about the day's ride with my buddies on the patio and then order food from the pizza truck in the parking lot ... and this place exists? For real! And I can only reward 5 stars...?I cannot possibly imagine how you could improve upon the scenario I just described above?(Okay maybe if the Tavern had strippers, that would be pretty epic) But sans strippers ... If I somehow ever get stuck in some kind of time loop ala Bill Murray in Groundhog Day I hope it is that day I spent riding Black Mtn followed up by a visit to the Pisgah Tavern.

Great experience here as always. Rented a bike for the second weekend here and no regrets. KJ and the entire rental shop were super friendly and helpful, giving us trail route recommendations and making sure our bikes were up to par before heading out. We love coming to this shop for the whole experience and culture they’ve created. Thanks guys

We were very excited to try this place after our beautiful hike but soon discovered it is not welcoming at all. It appears to have food but only food trucks. The drink truck has no water or claims they have no water. I went inside the tavern and stood in the line to get to the counter to ask for a cup of ice and buy a canned coke. When it was my turn and I stepped up to the counter and asked for way I wanted and the man said that he didn’t have ice but if I wanted to can of coke I would need to wait my turn in line like everyone else - this was said in a very condescending tone. I said I did wait in line. It was such a belittling experience. Everyone heard him. My sister in law heard it and couldn’t believe it. I didn’t even want to eat my food I felt so icky in that environment. Someone used the term elitest which is a good way to describe this place. I will never go back.

Awesome place for MTB rentals! I rented a Santa Cruz bike recently and I couldn't be happier with the experience - the bike was in great condition, set up to my weight and ready to go when I arrived, and the people were friendly and had good tips on the trails in the area.

A MUST STOP BEFORE HIKING PISGAHSorry in advance for my gushing but this place is just so great. The atmosphere is great, the prices are fair, but the employees are totally outstanding.I wish I could remember the name of the great guy that helped me (im thinking maybe Todd perhaps?) but he was so awesome and helpful. I recommend stopping in here and buying one of their $14 maps for Pisgah Forest then taking then they got a highlighter and made all sorts of helpful notes that not only kept me busy this trip but the next as well.These people all know the area and love what they do. Honestly every time I’m in Brevard i will definitely be stopping and finding something to buy just to get tips from the employees.The bar is awesome too and some really cool beers on tap. I had an Orange Mint Ginger Beer that was out of this world. Also it’s dog friendly!

The Hub is awesome. They were happy to do some minor bike repairs and adjustments for two non locals that were ready to hit the trails. They have a huge selection of bike gear and accessories. And it's the perfect place to grab a post ride beer. Everyone there was awesome - big shout out to Mike, Lindsey and Barrett.

I had a fantastic experience here. I reserved a transition patrol to ride the black mountain loop and it was dialed and ready to go when I arrived. They accommodated my friend with a same day rental which was great as well. The staff at the shop were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly highly recommend this shop if you’re wanting to do some mountain biking in Pisgah! Also had a great food truck and tavern for a post ride lunch.

This bike shop was the coolest place I've been to in a while. Great selection of bikes to choose from. Food and coffee vendors outside on the property. Very friendly staff and a bar inside for an after ride beverage. Will definitely be back.
