I found this discount store in Pineville. Has great pricing on clothes. The only negative is that it is not organized the aisles are blocked in some areas and you can't get through. The back of the store is a hot mess items are literally thrown everywhere. Pretty sure this is a fire code violation. The aisles are narrow and it's hard to maneuver a cart. It's not a place I would regularly shop.

Like Gabe's but dressing room is always closed so you either put the clothes you want back or buy it and bring it back because it doesn't fit. Bad business. Customer service was exceptional.

1st and last time going here. I have heard pretty decent things about gabes so I decided to go there and try them out . Upon entering it looks like a giant mess I mean stuff everywhere and it's really no different then Burlington or TJ Maxx . Every time I picked a piece of clothing up it would either be dirty or stained it was ridiculous.

I tried to return an item that was given to me as a gift. I had the sales slip but the price tag had been removed from the item. I only wanted to exchange it for a different size. They refused to honor my request because the price tag was not on the item. I have never been denied a return or exchange when I had the sales receipt. Please honor my request. I was at the Pineville store.

I'm not from NC this was my first time going here I noticed that a lot of the items I was interested in buying all had different prices but all were the same item got to the checkout the cashier was pleasant so I asked her the question she ask the manager she had such nasty response like lady come on the same items but different prices for her to be the manager and as nasty as she was I won't be back to this location!

I started coming here simply because this store is one of very, very few that stays open until 11pm and I’m a bit of a night owl. Because of this, I always end up coming here about a half an hour or less before they close, yet I somehow manage to find enough to buy—of course that we “must have”—to overfill a shopping cart… (with a secret desire to go back and fill one more).The staff is always very pleasant and that’s a relief because you know how it can be when you’re the last customer rolling up to the register with exactly 5,001 items three minutes before they lock the doors.Also, I recommend this location over the one on Independence blvd because it’s much easier to navigate, has a much friendlier personnel and it is always very tidy and clean, all of which are a hit or miss at the Independence store. (I can’t speak for any other locations).Will return, hopefully (for my bank account’s sake) not too soon though! :)

By far the worst gabes I've ever been too! If you all remember rugged warehouse this is their new location. Anyways the store is hot mess aisles are so hard to shop around you don't have room to move the cart aisle don't give space. University location is much bigger and better! Only reason why I come here they have better clearance items

Organized. Team atmosphere. I went early and was able to see the staff circled up and exercising before the shift began. It was cool to see. The earlier you go on truck day, the better the selection... once those doors open up,, everything goes quickly 9-11 is the best time. Some items are one or two and gone items.

I enjoy shopping at Gabe's. Large selection, you just need to have a time to go through everything. There are some one of a kind items. Most are pretty good deals.

Fantastic selection of name-brand merchandise. Inventory changes constantly if not daily so there is always something new with each visit. I find that they are consistently cheaper than the big name discount stores that you see advertising on TV all the time. I would say they are primarily geared towards the younger generation but they still offer a little bit of everything for everyone else as well.

Yall dont tell people when they walk in your systems been down all day and you're cash only? I walked around and had multiple items to purchase then I get to the register to be told the system has been down all day, cash only. I was shopping for around 40 mins! Waste of my day.

Great store, great prices! They have something for everyone. Kids, Youth, Young Adults, Adults, Boys, Men and Household items! They carry Plus Sizes also!! They have lawn furniture right now but I will say they cater to the seasons! Merchandise change quickly and each store is different in some ways when it comes to stock!

This used to be my favorite store. This location in particular. However, l was highly dissatisfied with my trip there today. Everything was in disarray and I could find nothing. I used to enjoy the organization of certain name brands, like express jeans, having their own section and organized. Easy to find my size. I once went in and out in under 15 minutes and spent over $50. Today, I walked out empty handed and recovering from a slight anxiety attack after as much time. Sad. Don't think I will be returning unless it's back to it's former glory.

Gabe's is a place where you can find incredible deals on many desigber brands and pay a fraction of retail price. The store can be a bit overwhelming to navigate as there is a significant amount of merchandise at any given time. Additionally some of the clothing racks are not definitively broken up by sizes and it takes a good bit of time to sort through and find the size that you are looking for.The staff inside the store are always incredibly friendly and helpful and have been great with the returns policy during covid with the lack of dressing room availability. Overall it is a great place to find a deal on excellent brands if you have a bit of time and patience to look through the racks.

We always find some bargains here. Sometimes we luck up on some great name brands. The Pineville North Carolina location has a great selection of home goods as well at great prices. My teenagers have racked up throughout the summer during each shopping trip for clothes they like. I would highly recommend checking it out. Some of their locations are small and offer little selection but Pineville North Carolina and University City area in North Carolina are great options!

I only gave them a 3 because the tall lady with thd short black hair came to the front as my cousins and I was checking out and basically accused us of something that happen in the dressing rooms. 1st of all we don't even know they have a fitting room and ma'am we was in there for over hour up until like 15 minutes before you all close looking around at he home goods stuff and baby clothes.

My shopping experience was pleasant as that was my first time back at Gabe's since before the panorama, I always find cute little outfits/shirts in there. Also got a cute little windbreaker jacket as well that I just couldn't resist . Safety measures are in place as well so that's always a good thing, I would recommend without any reservations to check them out!

Lots of inventory, staff was a pleasure to conversate with! Very helpful and courteous staff. I'll definitely be making this a regular shopping stop off mine!! They made me feel at home and that's hard to do for me! I'm from pa and haven't found my transition to the Carolinas very welcoming until i went to Gabe's in Pineville NC!! Kudos!!

Bad experience. I will not shop there again. Tried to return items. I had sales slips but they said I needed the price tags on the items. They were gifts so I took stickers off and threw them away. I have never nor was I told to keep the stickers on the items.
