This is the WORSE DG that I have EVER seen!! I wish ratings could go into the negative!! THIS STORE STAYS CLOSED!! The least they could do is update the sign with the TRUE store hours!! Don't waste your time coming over here!!

I just have to give a shout out to Monica, the new manager at this location!! I literally walked in and became a little confused about which DT I was at!!!Super clean, organized, and when a long line formed, a code 3 was called and two more cashiers came out and cleared the line!! If you've ever been there before, you know how it was...I had completely stopped going there but had to pick up a couple things and was in the area--what a pleasant surprise!!Great job Monica and staff!! 🙌🏻

Wish I could leave a zero! Stood at check out counter for 10 minutes (not an exaggeration!) After calling out numerous times, an employee finally showed up and said "Lights on over here" and proceeded to ring up a customer who just walked up. I said "Really? I've been standing here for 10 minutes". She said "Bye, Food Lion's next door. Go write a complaint". So here it is.

I go into the store and buy Always pads and flushable wipes. After purchasing my items, I asked to use the bathroom. The cashier Linda stated I could but she will hold on to my items I just brought. I told her that was not necessary as am going to take them with me. She proceed to say no ill hold on to them and I stated ma'am I'm going to take my items with me there should be no problem with that as I just brought them. She stated to me there should not be a problem to leave them with her and I must not have to use the bathroom. Now there are men and women in line behind me and I was trying to keep my business to myself. Through all of this Linda was trying to keep my items in the bag in her hand. I told Linda ma'am I'm a female and just brought pads and wipes what do you think I'm going to do in the bathroom. I took my bag out her hand and stated I don't need to use your bathroom anymore I'll go to the store.After using the grocery store bathroom right next door, I went back into the dollar general and asked for the Manger. Another employee I will leave nameless gave me all the information I needed. I was informed this is not Linda first time treating people the way she did me.This store as employee that will treat you like criminal. I sure hope it's not a race issues.

Employees were stocking shelves during my visit. I needed Alka Seltzer. The shelf was out of stock. I asked an employee and was dismissed "if it's not on the shelf we are out" while they were stocking! Another employee said they had just gotten a truck in and were stocking as fast as they could. They told me to check back later. I couldn't as I needed to get back to work.

I placed an online order on Sept 14th my scheduled pickup was between 6-7 p.m.. I called the store to confirm my pickup, and an associate said they haven't filled orders all day. His excuse was we only have 2 people working and they don't want to work. So he said my order would be ready on Sept 15th at 4. I checked my emails later that day and the store canceled my entire order.

This store I went to happy on my way to purchase literally a car that I’ve wanted since I was young that I had to purchase going through EBay and with that you have to purchase the eBay cards . I went in shopped and selected few other items went to check out told the cashier that I had to load a total of a $1000 onto these five cards even said do we have to split it up the transaction due to the amount I was told “no” she rang it up and since then I HAVE LOST THE CAR IT HAS BEEN SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE DUE TO THE fact that the employee was wrong it locked down everything I was a outta town customer that spent over a grand had a funeral the next day for my father I explained that I couldn’t return I needed my money on them eBay cards that day or refunded I’d lose the car and that I had to travel to Florida on Sunday and be back at work for Monday . Instead of the manager driving back to work from ten mins away they kept my money would not flex or bend to fix situation period after I kinda sat aside for THREE HOURS SO THEY COULD HELP OTHER CUSTOMERS AND GAVE THEM DIFFERENT OPTIONS TO FIX THIS ME MANAGIG RETAIL BEFORE . Instead they today is Sunday they still have my money NO ONE HAS APOLOGIZED NOT ONCE I TOOK ALL THE PROPER ATEPA IN CALLING CORPORATE AND EVERYTHING SO BECAUSE OF THESE PPL I LOST THE CAR AND THEY STILL HAVENT RETURNED MY MONEY AND HAVE INSULTED ME SECERAL TIMES IMPLYING FRAUD WHEN I HAVE SHOWN EVEN THOUGH WASNT THEIR BUSINESS WHERE MY MONEY CAME FROM AND EVERYTHING !!!! I do alottttttt of business with dollar general but after today my family and friends and anyone I speak to I promise won’t spend a buck with this corporation again. I am a very simple easy down to earth person whom was more than kind giving the situation and these ppl were rude and have yet to apologize for costing me the buy inconveniencing the hell outta me especially with my father just passing . Thanks dg! Great freaking job I pray everyone involved goes through something of this nature and I pray when u do you remember me.

The sign says open from 8am to 9 pm but the store was closed at 6:30 pm. Big inconvenience for myself and so many customers I saw trying to open the door and get in the store.

Terrible experience. Less than a week before Christmas and nothing was on sale. The few things that were supposed to be according to their signs wasn't including their lights because it isn't considered part of outdoors because they were labeled "indoor/outdoor" lights. Good keep them. I'll go somewhere else after Christmas and buy them!

Luv this store. Everything is neat & easy to find. The staff is very friendly, helpful and know who you are. They actually have a bathroom customers can use unlike other stores. In a great location near Post Office & bank!

TL;DR: Disgusting store, overpriced, literally everything worthy of mention is cheaper at the next door Food Lion. Don't waste your time, friends.AVOID!! Trash. Doesn't look like an employee has ever been bothered to clean a single area, regardless of dirt, spills, or expiration of dairy. Close the refrigerator so things do not spoil? Pffft, no way.Being a "Dollar" General, you would expect most items to be well below market value, a bit cheaper than average at the very least. This is not the case. Save yourself the legwork and head over to the Food Lion 10 yards away. Somehow, some way, every single thing over there is cheaper than "Dollar" General. Shut this monstrosity down.

I only shop here when I absolutely need to, and when I do they NEVER disappoint! Especially when it comes to flavors in snacks or soda! Every try the new VaDew (Mountin Dew)? Its awesome and Dollar General was the first to have it for me! 💕

There is a very nasty employee by the name of shona at the pineville location that was very rude disrespectful and unprofessional clearly she woke up on the wrong side of the bed and was upset at my newspaper coupon that said I can get make up for free 1$/1 wet n wild face product I recorded the incident and I have already called corporate I never have had a employee take it to this level of careless insults ! I shop dollar General all the time and all the sales I will continue to coupon and find items for 1cent !!! She ain't stopping nothing ! She told me she wasn't ringing me up ...i Ain't getting nothing free outta her store and I need to go put some clothes on my azz...smdh 📽📽📽📷📷🎥🎥

I was looking for a yoga mat at Dollar General. They didn't have any in stock. But they did have glass bowls with lids that I could use for my healthy lunch. So that made my trip a win for me.

When you purchase anything check your receipt before leaving I bought a pack of 8 batteries said one price on the price sticker but came up another on the receipt bait and switch just be on the lookout

The customer service is never great here-mediocre, but they did redo the store recently so they layout is a little better--roomier and cleaner. It's the closest one to me so I will likely be back.

Worst experience ever, just stop in to get a card . The store was a mess, on the floor, clothes off the rack on the floor and the shelves were empty. Customer service was horrible. I will not be returning.

It has good prices but its very under staffed and its highly under stocked they have certain things thats always stocked and others that are almost never stocked
