I’m a level 10 Google reviewer, one of the only 3 in the entire Carolinas. And I get over 300,000 daily viewers to my stuff on Google - so listen carefully BJ’s:BJ’s gets only 2 stars for the mobile app requirements for scanning 6 out of 7 items by the exit clerk being an extremely absurd requirement!!Not ok - wastes our time!! Never had a missed item in 3 years and still scans extra so many items.BJ’s Wholesale Club (warehouse) located at11715 Carolina Pl Pkwy, Pineville, NC 28134is a great club for money savings on bulk items. My photos show the varieties here at the club. Please subscribe to see more!!My only complaint is with the self scan checkout program as they check ****way too many items**** on the way out!! I bought 5 items and all 5 got scanned by the checker. Not ok!!! Need to check 2 or 3 MAXIMUM. Never have had an issue with not scanning and it wastes a lot of time for other customers. Not ok. I have over 26 Million views to my reviews/photos - take what I write seriously please.

If you ever happen to stop by. Ask for Justin he works nights. I promise if he's your bartender you will have the best experience of your life. He is very attentive, friendly and welcomes everyone with a warm smile. No bar can match their happy hour specials. Family friendly as well I see many family's come in for dinner and when I turn and see the smiles I know the food is good.

I love this location! The staff is very friendly & very helpful! The store is very clean & organized perfectly. I shopped on a night very close to closing and I was having a hard time finding my last 2 items. Out of nowhere a lady named Deja approached me asking me did I need help, she most definitely was like my angel that night!! She pointed me in the right direction and I was able to get everything that I needed!! Thank you Deja for your act of kindness!! ❤️

I wanted to try BJ’s out so I bought a membership when I went shopping I didn’t like BJ’s so I canceled my membership on March 11, 2024. I’m still waiting on my refund of $65. Every time I call a team member tells me it’s gonna take three days, I spoke to a manager and told her that I did not receive my refund. She says that she’s gone. Send it up to upper management and they will investigate and get back to me it's April 10 2024 and I still haven’t received my refund. Be careful to apply for a membership. @BJ’s it's hard getting your money back One thing I did not like about BJ’s was you have a cart full of food you have to check yourself out the self check out lines are not that big BJ's does not have a food court

Ninety-nine percent of businesses make it their policy to not allow open carry guns especially in this new environment of legislatures allowing open carry without permits, background checks or training. I was floored when I ran into someone open carrying who was not a law enforcement official. It terrified myself and my child. When I approached management, they advised it is BJ’s policy to support the constitutional rights of open carry without regard to safety of their customers and employees. When I contacted their corporate office, no one responded. I left a message about how upsetting it was and they never responded. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT ON THEIR PROPERTY AGAIN!!! Two weeks ago, someone walked into Monroe’s Walmart with a bullet proof vest carrying several weapons along with a semi automatic rifle. They were arrested but guess what BJ’s policy is. This would be allowed in BJ’s. If you value your life and want to avoid traumatizing your children and trying to protect them from violence because witnessing a non law enforcement individual open carrying a weapon without knowledge of their intent is a form of violence. I don’t have an issue with someone who goes through the proper steps to have background checks, training and legal permit to conceal carry but open carry should never be allowed.

Terrible terrible. Gas pumps often empty with no signage. Last time half the self checkouts were broken and only 1 real line open. Today no shopping carts (they said it was because they were “ so busy “. ). Only about 30 cars there. No interest in helping customers either. No wonder Costco is always packed and this place always dead. PS BJs Costco way busier and they always have carts.

Do not bother with this wholesale club. I tried to cancel a pick up order and could not, even though the email has a cancel order on it. The club couldn't cancel the order until 1 hour after closing on the day to pick up. Then you have to wait 3-5 days for your money back. Tried to complain to corporate, you can't. Operator wasn't available - goodbye. I also understand if you buy a TV or anything else big they will not take back the item, you have to go through the manufacturer. Waste of my time and money.

Disappointing customer service at the Pineville BJ's.On 1/12/2024 around 6:30 pm I visited BJ's Pineville store with my newborn son.When I was ready to check-out I had 22 items in my cart and a stroller that I was pulling alongside.I tried to checkout, but there were no registers open asside from the self-checkouts.I stopped over to the customer service desk and asked if there was a register that could check me out.The woman left the customer service desk, walked over to speak to someone and came back to tell me, "only self-checkout was open".I asked why only self-checkout was open and was dismissed, she said, "that's all that is open".There were 3 people at customer service with no line and 3 people around the self-checkout registers with little activity.I don't mind self-checkout, but I was juggling a full cart and a newborn baby in a stroller.In addition to my BJ's account, I also pay for memberships to Sam's Club and Costco.I've never had a complaint shopping at Sam's club and Costco's employees absolutely deliver the highest quality of customer service.I'm not sure what's happening at BJ's, but given the option I'd much rather go down the block to Sam's club or drive 30 minutes to Costco.

Use to shop at the East Independence, Midtown location miss having those locations in the area. Now its only Concord and Pineville locations to shop at. They have good prices on certain items but membership is so expensive. They also do paper coupons and can use MFR coupons along with it. Unlike Sam's and costco does instant savings off. If you aren't a member you get surcharge 20% They have SCO and there isn't a door greeter checking on membership at the door unlike costco or sams club. They only have SCO. Only downside is when checking out the rude SCO cashier gets mad for no reason on taking off items, she needs to leave her service is so unprofessional, she leaves out of the station for no reason

Terrible customer service at this store by front end manager James. He was rude and condescending when an issue arose and when I went to the customer service desk to ask for information for the store manager, he interjected himself rudely, in a conversation I was having with another employee. I didn’t know he was a BJ’s employee as he walked around with a black bubble coat and a pair of jeans. He looked like a regular customer to me.

I want to begin this by stating I normally have a pleasant experience shopping at this specific location. Today, not so much. Jake the greeter will catch the company a lawsuit.Yesterday morning, I stopped at bjs on my way to work to hopefully exchange an item I purchased via curbside pickup. (The item that was advertised on the website and the item I was given via curbside were not the same things and I couldn’t use the one I was given).I walk into the building with my item and receipt in one hand and my tote bag on the opposite shoulder. I’m immediately enthusiastically greeted by Jake, which I thought was him being polite but in hindsight might have been the first red flag. I say good morning and head into the store to locate the item I actually ordered to hopefully exchange it. They didn’t have what I needed so I proceeded to the fresh foods section and then to the front of the store to pick up some bread. I purchased my bread and placed my receipt for the bread in my bag (out of habit of shopping in other stores and forgetting bjs does the receipt checks). I go to customer service, the woman working asked if I had located the item I initially ordered, I told her no. She initiated the exchange. On my way out, I remember my receipt for my bread is in my bag so I reach in to get it. When I reach the threshold, Jake immediately asks me what’s in my bag and proceeds to stick his hand in my bag to check. I immediately respond with saying “my stuff?” confused by the entire interaction because this has never happened to me before. He then gave me back my receipt and I left upset, and rushing to end my commute to work. I don’t know if this if common practice in bjs but from my knowledge of the retail industry that is never how you handle a suspected theft situation.

Would be a negative star if possible. Purchased a bad tank of gas at BJ's Pineville, NC on April 16, 2021. Fuel had water in it, and my car has not run properly since. Two containers of Stabil at over $10 per 20 gallon coverage, and a fresh tank of gas. Damage is done. Processed a complaint on the 18th once I realized what was going on. CANNOT get anyone to return my call. My next step will be to have to empty tank, drain gas and water, then refill and pray that there has been no significant damage. Customer service continues to tell me how important I am, yet no calls back tells the real story.

Good place for a lot of needs. Self checkout is usually what you have to do. Only been there a few times when they had someone check you out. Clean store never really see anything on the floors

Tire shop is useless. Don’t be fool with tire rotation option or life time warranties on tire. You will be sitting there for hours to do any service.Only one person work and he mean to slow down. His target is to do like 6 cars per day. Spend 1:30 in each car. Bjs tire is the waste of time. Really it’s not the first time. Go to Costco or Walmart

In the past 90 days I have spent over $1,200 at your store and today when I want a refund for bad mangos you sold… you tell me sorry we need to see mangos. I showed you a picture and have receipt but you say sorry. I don’t return things because I don’t have time so I just throw it away but this keeps happening with your mangos and avocados so I decided to ask for refund. I guess I will try Sam’s Club since you don’t know how to provide exceptional customer service which is what I expected when I spend my hard earned $ at your store. Take care

I've had a bjs membership for over 15 years and never had an issue but now they changed a lot. I used to come maybe once every other month and I used my available rewards towards my $300 or more purchase now I can only use $10 worth or rewards per visit. This is ridiculous, not worth wasting my gas to come all the way here. Another thing, their customers service is one of the worst ever, lack of experience and laziness don't go well together. Please train your staff better!!!

It’s Annoying to keep looking at Coupons to add it to shopping cart , but since I used to Bj’s since my first membership in Orlando , Florida 1998 , I kept pj’s member Although my work offer me a free membership to sam’s club.The reason for my review and only two stars That will be the costume service is very poor, I went to buy pediasure for my kids and the price tag was saying $1.30 Bottle and $30,99 per unit, but at the register ,The price was $35.99 , I show them the price picture on my phone, but they let me stand for 15 Minute until the associate checked the price at The product ShelfAnd her manager after that, and finally they came out that they can’t honour the price, Because it was a mistake.By looking at sam’s club online I find the offer is $29.64 without any couponsVery poor customer service 😡😡 i am sad That’s I wasted my time.

Week in and out we get the freshest haddock here. I was in New England seafood business for 15 years and I can’t find a better piece of haddock anywhere. Publix does a great job $6.00 more per pound and equal product.The deli workers are professional cutting the meat and cheese. They take their time and you get exactly the desired cut every time

We love coming here! There is tons of variety and product is usually very well stocked. The fresh berries can be a bit iffy so definitely check the package before purchasing. Their bakery is delightful and the frozen food section is comprehensive. The middle aisles are full of non-food items and some great impulse buys! Great place to buy books, gift cards, and electronics as well. Make sure you clip coupons on the app before going, there’s over 300 coupons available!

I love shopping here during anytime in the week because it is never crowded or packed like Costco. This warehouse has everything that I need and want for my bathroom and kitchen. They have a great selection of foods and essentials for the home. I also love that it is just five minutes from our house. The gas prices are pretty low as well which is beneficial for my boyfriend and I. I love going here! I’ve also ordered online and picked up items before and it was fast & easy.

Last Saturday-March 12th, my husband and I did some in store shopping as well as picked up a “shed” we ordered online.When we finished checking out, I asked two gals standing at the end of the lines how I went about picking up my order and pointed to it.They responded-just take it and show the lady at the door your phone.We proceeded to do so only to be accused of stealing the shed. The nasty women, Joy, at the front door called over her radio that was blasted throughout the store-I have a shed leaving with no receipt. This was after I tried to explain what I was told by the other gals.Totally embarrassed and angry, I went back to the gals that had told me what to do. In the meantime security came out and my husband also tried to explain that Joy was being nasty and wouldn’t even listen to what we were told.I totally understand why she was concerned, however her total lack of customer service this trip and every trip we have encountered her in the last 4 years.The gentleman that helped us to our vehicle began talking to my husband as well as among them. They told us this is how she always acts, which of course we already knew.To make matters worse, I tried for over 40 minutes to call the store only to be out in a series of phone loops which always hung up at 19 minutes.Finally the store supervisor-BO, called me and I walked through the entire scene. Bo promised to call me back Sunday or Monday and tell me what he was going to do to “right the situation “.Well it’s over a week later and no call or communication from Bo or anyone else.Will be considering canceling my BJ’s membership and shopping at sams or Cosco.

Terrible wholesale club. Every time I have purchased fresh or frozen meat/fish products they have been rancid/spoiled. The smell from a package of crab cakes I purchased last night was repulsive 🤢. I will no longer purchase from BJ’s. The meat bunkers are always filthy and loaded with old blood. Tried the membership on a $25 special. I will not renew.
