So me and alone of my sons were coming back out of state. And we saw a billboard for Abraham's. It said seafood and soul food so I was already intrigued. Almost salivating. So I put the address in GPS and we were on our way. So when we pulled up. It had a line in drive through. Ok.... then there was aline inside. Ok. And mixed races were inside as well. And that is always a good sign of goid food. Now if a hood spot or hole in the wall spot is not your cup of tea.. this place in appearance could deter you. But give it a chance. So when we went in and ordered.. I was a little apprehensive.. then had stuff made to order. I though maybe it would he dry. And I did t want to wait.. to order something else. So I ordered off the line. Let me tell you. Fire!!!!!. I had their chicken and porch ops and yams and potota salad.. 🔥!!!!! I was impressed for sure. The atmosphere was nothing to brag about at all. And the sweet tea.. did not hit the spot..but I am assuming lemonade is the thing because that was empty. And they are also know for cheese biscuits. But unfortunately they onky serve for breakfast. So I gotta go back for that for sure. But yeah they get the Sickle and ebert 2 thumbs up....

I've passed by this location may times, and today, I decided to stop.The parking lot is a maze, and I don't like having to walk through the drive-through line to enter or get back to your car. Not safe.Upon entering, we were greeted, which was nice . The food to choose from didn't look very fresh. Each time the server/cook brought up a new dish, he would just drop it in the empty place with the worst look on his face.I got 2 chicken legs, and they were pretty good. My mashed potatoes were slightly cold, and my green beans were bland. The hushpuppies were ok.If I ever stop again, I hope the food will be better prepared.

I use to love Abrams but lately their service have declined. My husband stopped by there on 1/31/2024 to pick up two plates of food. I received hamburger steak mashed potatoes and cabbage. About to enjoy my food when I found a piece of wire in my cabbage. So I am currently on the phone with them but of course no one is answering the phone that is listed online.

As always the food was scrumptious. My 97 yo Great Grandma raven about the beautiful biscuits. The tenderloin you've got to try. The service is excellent no attitudes here. Matter of fact I'm on my way back.Vegetarian options: Plenty vegetarian options and season perfectly. I wish they offered black-eyed peas sometime. I never knew turnip greens could taste so good. All and all the food is delicious.

Very unprofessional. Allowed customers behind me to get waited on after I had been standing in line next. Cashier kept having conversations with other employees and other customers while I tried to pay. Mgmt needs to pay closer attention to their business. It used to be a great place to visit. I live ,10 minutes away and I drive to Greenville or Wilson

The food is delicious. If you ever crave southern style dishes like your granny use to make, this is it. They have the best collards and cabbage that I've eaten anywhere. No need to cook them when you can order as much as you want for events or potlucks. The fried chicken and chicken and pastry is absolutely delicious. Cheese biscuits are made from scratch and oh so good. The staff and the owners are so friendly. Mrs Abram came over and talked to us and made us feel welcomed. My parents go often and I will look forward to coming here again on my next visit to this area.

My dear friend had eaten food in this location's drive through and was raving how good the food is. So according to her account Monday is Neck Bone day. We arrived @ 2pm and all they had were bones in gravy. Just have enough of the days special. Also the food needs to be nice and hot to prevent customers from becoming I'll. Greenville NC is on point with their food.

After we had an amazing time at A Zoo Life, we went down the road and got some chow at Abrams. We have never been out there and had no idea what we were in for. We walked in and a couple of the customers instantly knew "we weren't from around here" (we are big-city folks from North of Raleigh) but that only made them more helpful in recommending food ideas. I got bbq and the baked chicken. It was delicious and their homemade red sauce was incredible!!!!! My wife got the shrimp tacos and she said they were wonderful. My father in law got the ribs, and they were amazing!!! My mother in law had them make a white pizza (garlic sauce, artichoke hearts and cheese), and her response was, "Oh my...... wow.... oh yes!!!!!" If we make our way back out that way again, we will DEFINITELY be stopping at Abrams Cafe!!!!!Parking: The parking lot is very small so u could see this posing a problem on very busy days.

The best country cooking in Edgecombe County!Parking: Parking can be a little tricky if you ate not familiar there is limited parking in front of the restaurant but bedidethe restaurant if you drive to the next intersection and turn in by the drive thru entrance there I'd plenty of parking

Fantastic service, Polite employees, Delicious Food, Reasonable prices, Clean restaurant. They offer daily specials and have so many choices on the hot food bar! I love the Catfish on Fridays and the Turkey and Dressing on Sundays! Worth the drive to Pinetops, oh and can't forget the AMAZING Cheese Biscuits 😋 They have delicious hot, fresh Fried Catfish on Fridays too!

NC Barebcue is supposed to be better in NC, The food was just ok, I couldn't eat after I saw all the flies around food, young man working in back food preparation shirt and apron was just nasty, lost my appetite. Call me boosie, I don't care, if they were in Maryland they would be shut down, health dept. The servers were very friendly. I guess we will try Parkers Barebcue again!
