The food was delicious! Loved it.The waitress was kind of rude. We asked as why there was a $2 extra additional even though we didn't ask for any extra toppings and she said that is how it is. We have to add $2 extra then what is printed on the menu.She went back and added $1.50 for ranch which the kid had asked for and added 3% credit card processing.Yes, the food was really good but due to their attitude we won't go there again!

Called to place our order. Very friendly voice on the other end of the phone! Said it would be a hour wait because of how busy they were. That was fine. I figured the food was going to be top tear. I was disappointed. The white pizza with fresh garlic and tomato was very disappointing. Definitely not enough sauce or cheese. It was very dry. The meat lovers pizza wasn't bad at all. The service there is great. Maybe I would have to try something else if we come back this way.

Our experience getting take-out at The Italian Restaurant in Pineola was excellent. My call to place my order was picked up right away by a cheerful and professional hostess. I arrived at the restaurant early and employees were super nice. No less than two of them offered me a drink while I sat at the bar. The co-owner, Greg, thanked me for coming and chatted with me. Very nice!The large pizza was hot and loaded with toppings. The pizza was delicious and everyone from 2 to 70 liked it.The house salad was very large for a house salad. It had lots of extra vegetables and was very fresh. The ranch dressing was obviously homemade and was delicious. It was thin in a good way so that you could actually pour it on the salads on our plates.I highly recommend the restaurant! Linville Land Harbor residents, visitors and neighbors are fortunate to have such a nice restaurant so close.

We are in town working on a house in NC and needed to take a break. Talk about an amazing experience. They are the kindest people you’ll ever meet, it’s worth it to just come in and get some warm customer service. The food was amazing as well, everything we ordered was fresh and super tasty. We will be back. Shout out to our server and the owner for their spectacular service and kindness.

Haven't ordered from The Italian Restaurant in a couple years. Ordered a pizza to go and it was cooked perfectly and really tasted good. Everyone was super nice and appreciative. If you are in the area, stopping in to eat would be a great choice!Great job!

I get to Newland about once a month. This is one of my favorite places. First, the service is always awesome. I think Friday night our waitresses name was Ginger. We had a larger party and we all commented she never let our drinks get empty. She was cheerful and polite.The food is always really good. The wait times are always reasonable. I had my T-1 step daughter and she was going low. We got bread immediately.Also, for bonus points they have pints of sauce for sale you can take home. I forgot to grab one this trip but they make my meals taste more authentic.They had a change of ownership recently and I have not noticed any difference. Same good food and same great service.I wish I had taken more pictures of my food! I had to snag a picture from my daughters friend that took hers.

I hadn't been here in years and my friend's calzone was great, but my pizza sub was doughy, which was no big deal, things happen, but it certainly changed the servers attitude and there was no communication between the 2 waitresses because I was charged for the sub after returning it, but I asked for it to be taken off the bill and they did. No apology for anything. Customer service is a thing of the past. I waitressed for years and never got mad if someone returned food that wasn't cooked.

Old owners made great pizza. Delicious pizza the first time I had it a month ago under new owners. Got my second order of identical pizza back to my office and there's too much sauce, overpowering the taste, no mushrooms or onions as ordered. I was still charged for all of the toppings. And my sweet tea turns out to be unsweetened tea. Imagine a huge gulp of THAT!!! I don't continue to go to restaurants that are inconsistent.

Prices very reasonable, particularly the mixed drinks, sandwiches, and salads. Portions are large. Garlic cheesy bread was astounding! Do not order if you're on a diet, lol. It's the butteriest, cheesiest bread I've ever had by a mile, but not soggy!Service was very attentive, never had to ask for a refill.Interior is very basic, very "deli-esque", but not bad enough to detract from the overall experience.Extensive menu, but not overwhelming, including desserts, beer, and reasonable wine options (not high end, but not bottom shelf either).Overall value for the dollar is the best we've found in the area. Will definitely be returning again and again!

My husband and I enjoyed the best Italian meal we've had in quite sometime. I had the baked ziti with meatballs and it was delicious! My husband had a pizza with Italian sausage, onion and pepperoni. That too was delicious. The warm bread and butter started off our evenings meal. The staff was wonderful, the atmosphere was cozy. We will definitely go back many times.

Really nice place. The service was excellent. Very clean. Lots to choose from. I had the white cheese Hawaiian pizza and it was amazing. My wife had the eggplant Parmesan and she liked it. The salad was very plain. But overall our experience was good. I would recommend this place for sure. We will be back.Edit:just left, always good service. Had the lobster ravioli, no lobster in it. Only 6 ravioli on entire dish. They were just cheese. No good. I only ate 3 of them.

We stopped here on our way to SC with our grandchildren for dinner yesterday. Our server, Scott was awesome, friendly and efficient too. We ordered a Greek salad, cheesey garlic bread and a pizza! Everything was excellent! I also ordered a beer that is out of Asheville, NC on draft. I have never had a mug of beer stay so cold for so long. Great prices too! I highly recommend this restaurant for locals or if you are traveling through! I just got very sad when I read poor reviews of the service and pizza. We will be back if we are ever in the area again.

Fantastic find... in the middle of winter in January... super friendly staff, owner and chef... great food, wonderful house Chianti and we had the white hawaiian house special pizza and it was so well made... Worst place in town. I should have known not to try it again after their rat infestation about 5 years ago. However I disgustingly did.I got their fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The chicken had an off taste and after a couple bites I had to run to the bathroom and throw it all up. Seemed as though the chicken must have been bad.On top of all this, they upcharged everyone who ordered on our party since we were a group.Definitely will NOT recommend this to absolutely anyone unless you are looking for table scraps for the barn mice.Very unfortunate that I have to give at least one star. They deserve zero.

Always perfect crust, not skimpy on the toppings, the sauce is delicious.Adam was our server and he was great, glasses were never even close to empty, he had a great sense of humor, paying attention to every table in the dining room.Stopping here was a perfect end to our fall leaf looking day!

Random stop in Linville and we hit the jackpot. We had a very nice lunch during our stop here. Pizza and beer doesn’t get much better than at this gem. I had a tasty calzone and the sauce made it that much better! Thank you for a nice lunch!!

Friendly staff. Ordered Chicken Alfredo and Meat Baked lasagna. For dessert Lemon Cream Italian Cake and Tiramisu, made in house. Everything was delicious. Generous portions. Alcohol sold. Wines, beers, and some mixed drinks.

Due to the fact there are only 3 restaurants in this town a review doesn't really matter. We had to eat here as the last resort cause everything else was busy.My ravioli was inedible, the sauce had a horrible flavor that tasted like chemicals.Then when we told the server, she said well I told them to make it with marinara sauce.... She removed the plate, but left the $18 charge for it. Thank you for a horrible dinner, I left hungry.If you can go anywhere else do so!I had a feeling it was going to be trash due to the extremely mindless restaurant name.

Seven of us went for dinner. We were seated quickly and placed our orders promptly. Then we waited almost 2 hours for our food. During that wait, we asked at least four times for bread before we got any. I got a Greek salad which came before our dinners and it was very good. When we finally got our dinners, my friend's sausage and pepper entre was also very good but my lobster ravioli was not. The pizzas looked good but one of my friends who ordered pizza is out sick today with dysentery.I won't be going back.

Wife and I stopped here for lunch on a short road trip and I'm glad we did. We got the meat lovers pizza and it was fantastic! The staff was friendly and fast. We sat outside and it was great. Definitely coming back.
