Well decided to give this place another try and nothings changed. Service is REALLY lacking. Asked for mayo twice for by burger and it never came. Water never filled. It was slightly busy I’d say but they had 3 girls running the Resteraunt (which isn’t that big). Asked how I want my burger and I asked between medium and medium well. First burger got sent back cause it was almost crispy, second one wasn’t much better. Needed mayo to get it down my throat but it never came so I can’t give you a completely accurate review on the burger. We had a party of 6 and the food came out in waves but still some was warm some came out not so warm. So they have issues in the kitchen too. It’s too bad cause the place has potential once they get their “insert choice expletive “ together. Till then they get 2 stars and that’s being nice

I always love going to support our downtown Pilot Mountain. My favorite to eat locally. Nice atmosphere, waitresses were great and timely. First set of chips were too toasted and she brought out better ones. Salmon was with a Caesar salad. Excellent! Would recommend if you want a unique dining experience with the taste of home.

Such a great whimsy little dive for all the yummy fried foods you crave with friends!Loved their atmosphere…small town pub meets downtown restaurant!!Food is all pretty good… my fav is the wings and mozzarella wedges… also the boneless wings are very good like a chick fila nugget but bigger! Lastly I love the jalapeño bacon burger too!!!I didn’t like the friend green tomatoes … I like HOPS better I’m Greensboro these were too greasy and had something sweet on them. Also,not a fan of the pizza I got it was a margarita, but instead of real fresh basil, it was a pesto sauce drizzle.Will be back for more fun and food!Outside and inside seating and very cute alley way with tables and parking is street parking! Great prices!

The food was really good could have used more salsa with Cascadia. The battered onion was really good well seasoned. Location is very humble has the classic small town vibe. Waitress was amazing always right on top of everything and checking on food quality drinks ect. Overall really good experience. Would return in the future if I am passing by this way.

We just had our first visit at Tilted Ladder. We are on a mini vacation from Tennessee and just looking for different places to try. This place was definitely a great choice! We had the fried pickles which were way more than the two of us could eat. We had the Tilted Shrimp with sidewinder fries. The food perfect! I’m not sure how they batter their shrimp, but it definitely works! Our waitress was Marty and she was just precious!! Definitely a five star visit!

Phenomenal from start to finish. The pretzel bites and cheese were delicious; the sauteed shrimp were amazing; the fries were fantastic. My red oak beer was scrumptious and the dessert, an amazing strawberry pie with cream cheese frosting, almost made me cry with delight. Come experience a welcoming and friendly atmosphere - and stay for the yummy food. Good luck leaving enough room for dessert (but it's so worth it!).Kid-friendliness: So friendly and understanding about our 18 month old daughter!

I prefer to support local business and have given this place multiple opportunities but the inconsistency is appalling. I’ve had my food given away to other patrons, always have to wait 20+ minutes when picking up takeout (waited over 40 minutes last time and still didn’t get food) , and gotten home to raw chicken. When the food is good, it is really good but when it’s bad, it’s bad. The young people working have no care for the customers and even talk to their friends while they “work”. They need an overhaul on management. Disappointing for our small town how out of control this place is. The saddest part is no one seems to care and they are not held accountable.

Great first experience, cocktail drink was great ( Kiki's rum punch ), We had Baked spaghetti and Grilled shrimp with side salads and Mac and cheese. We received salads quickly and the entrees took a little time to come out. Only negative was the shrimp was a little cold. You don't want cold grilled shrimp. But they do have good menu items to choose from. We will go back and enjoy Tilted Ladder again.

Hiked Pilot Mountain State Park and they suggested Tilted Ladder. So good, best cheese burger ever and the cucumbers were the best. My husband got the fries (Twisted I think they called them) and they were so good. Joy our server checked on us several times and was able to help us with beer suggestions. Thank you will come again.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch today and we were very pleased with the service and the great food. If you're in the mood for a made to order burger that tastes like real food, give The Tilted Ladder a try. I had the Tarheel burger, which is topped with chili, mustard, slaw and onions. It was juicy and delicious...and a bit messy to eat, but I'd order it again in a heartbeat!

Great find! We found this little jewel on a trip to Mount Airy. Service was excellent and the food we ordered was delicious. Prices are reasonable and in line with what you’d pay for a dinner meal. If you have an option to eat inside or outside. They sale shirts if you enjoy buying shirts of places you visit.

This spot was recommended by our Airbnb host. Ok. So the food quality was ok. Potatoes and broccoli were cold. Service was a bit slow due to being short staffed and our order came out with missing items. The Tilted Shrimp was delicious and the drink were good. We went on a Saturday night and the atmosphere was nice. They had live music and the drinks were well made. The owner and locals were very welcoming which is what we were looking for. The bathroom was messy due to the plumbing backing up which caused flooding and sewage to spill. Overall we had a great time despite the food. Would definitely go back if in the area but just for drinks and good company.

Prices are already high here, and still this place will fee you to death. Who charges for celery when you order wings?!? Also charged me a dollar per every 5 “flats”. I maybe wouldnt care if they could get the food right, but they cant. 3 separate issues on our order, and those wings I had to pay extra for had to be sent back because it was the first item of our order to be cooked, but they let them sit and wait on the entire rest of the order. Room temperature by the time I got them. Had to have them microwaved to get back to hot and by that time they were just gross. Boxed them up for my dog and left hungry. Did management care about their poor performance? Nope, and even still charged me the 2$ fee for flats after screwing them up. I shouldve just let them keep them but was with a group and didnt want to embarrass the group. I wont be back until this place is a new business.

I had the shrimp & flounder special with southwest rice and Cole slaw. It was only $11. Everything was delicious. The service was great. I recommend this restaurant and will definitely return when I’m back in the area.Parking: There is parking on the street and a parking lot across the street.

Very good food. There is a bar in the back of the restaurant so the atmosphere is loud. There is an outdoor area you can eat at. The garlic mashed potatoes are delicious the chicken breast was ok and the salad is a salad. My Grandson like the chicken tenders but the fries were dry inside. My husband and daughter in law had a burger which would have been really god except for too much char on the outside of the burgers.

Visited today for lunch. Waitress was awesome. I had been wanting to visit for awhile. The Onion Peeler and 2 other appetizers were out of stock. Proceeded to order Philly flat bread (lots of choices for sandwiches) they were out of the bread. Ordered Medium Well 4oz Petite. Half was really pink but all of it was barely warm. Did have a good flavor and was tender. My date's lunch (sirloin tips) was not hot either. Will try again and some point.
