Great store, the staff works hard, but with any dollar general they expect the cashiers to stock and run the register, like the staff literally gets in trouble if they are standing there when they don't have a customer, so when a worker goes to stock something in the back and 3 customers come up they are left waiting, dollar general needs to hire people just to stock and people just to run the register, also $9 an hour is not enough to live on.. and dollar general wonders why their turnover rate is so high

Stuff is never organized here, Lord forbid if you or your kids have to use the restroom to hear the staff tell it the restroom is never in order my 3yr old messed her clothes up because they took sorry to let kids even use the restroom here

Other than the fact that a few of the employees are very rude, including one of the managers it’s actually a pretty decent place. However, nobody answers the phone. I’ve tried calling to see if an item is in stocked and on multiple occasions, they’ll let them phone just ring. I’ve ever been in the store while it’s not busy and they will just listen to the phone ring.

It's ok for a quick trip to grab a few items but this place could definitely use some TLC, inside and out. The owners need to invest some money into the upkeep of this establishment. Plus I wonder if they actually want you buy more than 10 items because the cash register checkout area is so small I feel if I approach the counter with an entire cart full of merchandise that I've purchased more than I should because it's such a small checkout area.

This store is very dirty and unorganized. I came in on oct 7 to buy something quickly. All of the employees were not wearing a mask and grouped up gossiping. Yet the store has a big sign saying masks are required to enter the building. The employees were more busy talking amongst themselves than paying attention to customers.

If if you want my honest opinion. I have been in Dollar General stores . This store in Pembroke North Carolina. Turn it down and rebuild it. I hope I never have to go back in it again. There is one two miles down the road that is beautiful. On Highway 74 it is

The store manager is amazing! She is understanding & goes above to help you out! She's always at work & is always busy busy but if you need her help she stops what she's doing, smiles & helps you with whatever it is you're needing! This is one of the cleanest DG stores I've been to! WTG to the DG team in Pembroke, NC!

I was totally shocked today when I made a stop at this Dollar General store. The first thing that caught my attention was the foul odor as soon as I walked in. And as I made my way down the ilse, I began to wonder if they were going out of business. Everything was in disarray. Shelves were very sparsely stocked and things were scattered on the floor, which needed a really good mopping. I just don't know how you can let a place go downhill so badly. Don't know when or if I'll bet going back to this location. The Dollar General at Maynor's Center and the one at the 710/74 hwy intersection are sooooo much nicer and cleaner.

This store wrongfully accused people of shoplifting. After person was searched by cops and NO items were found the cashier acted like it was a mistake after lying and saying she saw the person put items in their purse. I know several people who have experienced this and one person actually pressing charges using an attorney.

I wish I could give this store no stars. This store is a mess from the outside to the inside. Cashier was coughing with no mask and there are no protective barriers. I'm done with this store. STAY AWAY FOLKS!!!!
