This food lion in hilltop village is the best one I've ever been to. It's way less crowded than the one closer to me and cleaner and more organized and the shelves are always stocked. The staff is amazing and helpful and kind. The self check out is quick n easy and I love it. I've not had any problems so far. I'll be going to this location from now on and avoiding the overcrowded mess that is oxford commons.

I had ordered online, but once I got home I noticed that an item was missing and a can bent. Called the store but know one is answering and the same happen when I picked the order up earlier. Please have employees be more mindful of what they are selecting, and how they are placing items in the bag because know one wants their bread smashed.

I prefer this food-lion over the other one. This store is always clean and stays stocked on items I need! Plus the employees (most of them) are friendly and helpful.

When standing in line at checkout with only 2 registers open. One cashier decides to instead of telling the next person in line to come to her line that she is opening tells someone who just comes up at the end of the line “ma’am i can take you” mind you they were at the line farthest from where the line was opening. I’m sorry that is terrible customer service. And I wish I had her name because I would have it in this review so she could have a warning it was at 8:00 pm and opens line 2 at that time if that means anything to management. I felt that she was being racist I rarely come to food lion and this makes me not want to come back. So be warned that there are very disrespectful and racist workers that work there.

Always greeted by employees, this place has some of the nicest employees I've ever met. Their cashier always talk to us and ask us about our shopping experience a d make sure everything was fine. Their store is clean, has good selection and great sales. Just today I was there and Zoe checked us out, she was incredibly friendly, fast, hard working and obviously cares about her job and customers.

Just wish they were close to where I live because they would get my business from now on. So if you need me to say it yes I highly recommend going here. Waited at the service desk for 11 minutes. Asked the cashier at the first checkout to call someone. He asked the lady on second register. She said she couldn't until she cleared her line. He asked if I minded. I said yes and left. Three other registers were open with 2 people in them. It was busy but not that bad.

I love this food lion. The cashiers are alwasys friendly. There's rarely a line. The meast and produce selection is so fresh and amazing, and the shelves are always neat and stocked! My only complaint is tgeres no 18 pack of angry orchard like some other food lions. O well, can't win em all 😆

Store experience was fine but SNEEZING cashier was not wearing a mask which I did not notice until I'd placed my items on the conveyer belt. UNACCEPTABLE!

I do love this location, however they never have enough Diet Caffiene Free Coke. Have to go to the other Food Lion to get them.

Two stars seems appropriate, I've had several price issues in this store where the shelf price and register don't match. After notifying management it still wasn't fixed two days later. Lesson one check the prices as you buy. I've also had issues here with cases of beer(and even individual cans) put on the shelf broken, what am I to do, walk all around and show an employee that this isn't a saleable case. Lesson two learned, check your beer. Finally and most upsetting is check the date on your meat purchases, I went to this food Lion on Saturday the 13th and picked up some chicken to grill on Sunday the 14th. I had to double check my calendar when I was about to start preparing the chicken and noticed the sell by date was for Friday the 12th. A day before I even purchased the original pack of chicken. With frustration I will still shop here due to the fact it's the closest store, I say with frustration because shopping here has not been fresh or easy.Other than that the store is clean and usually well stocked.Update: I returned the original pack of chicken the following Monday, today. The most upsetting part is that I was sold old chicken, had to spend my time going back and forth and still had to pay the sub dollar difference in price.Update much later: more out of date meat on the shelf it's really a shame because the meat market is the one thing beating the new Aldi in Henderson.

This store is fairly large and most of the store employees are helpful and happy to help. If you want something not in stock they will order the items. Overall it is a pleasant shopping experience.

Great meat deals! Butcher is very helpful and friendly. Cashiers are very friendly 9 out of 10 times. Great deli and produce sections as well.
