I have visited this Piggly a few times as we have visited a new vacation property we have. I have been impressed each time with how clean the store is, their produce department, how nearly the shelves are stocked and how friendly the staff is. If you want alcohol they have a pretty good selection of wine, beer and ales. Some are refrigerated as well. Given how close they are to the coast they have fresh seafood options. Prices are a little higher than I experience at home, but not unexpected. This a good place to stop for your grocery needs. Right now they even have Christmas trees outside. There is also a gas station on site and they deliver groceries.

I was shocked just how clean, nice and well stocked this little store was! We were visiting and I kind of avoided it, choosing to drive further to Food Lion and Walmart. After needing something quick, I stopped in. I was extremely surprised. Prices were pretty good, too. It's a mistake to judge this store by its small size. Plus, they have a huge beer and wine selection.

I love Piggly Wiggly grocery stores. I had the best chicken pot pie for breakfast this morning. They had a whole display of them in a warming area. M-m-good.

The “Piglet” in Oriental is a small oasis that prevents locals and visitors from having to travel much farther for groceries. They have an amazing selection of products skillfully placed in a small space coupled with friendly service.Cruisers passing through the area are well catered to with the “pig’s” shuttle that will pick you up at any of the local docks and deliver you back after shopping. If you are in the area and have to provision your galley this is the place to call.

Excellent town grocery store. They have everything you need without having to make the trip to Bayboro or further. They also keep all of the trash off the parking lot and the side of the road.

Super friendly folks, clean store , highly recommend it. If you are on a boat they will offer free shuttle to and from store.

The only game in town and thier prices take advantage of that fact ! Bring a lot of money prices are doubled compared to Walmart 11 miles away in grantsboro !

If you are at the marina, give them a call to pick you up. We rode bikes we borrowed from the hardware store right by the dinghy dock. Great town.

Wow, what a grocery store! From the fresh produce to the well stocked wines and beer, hard to believe what has landed in Oriental. The meat department complete with butcher, who gladly cuts your meat to order, is a highlight. The Piglet is open in its layout, friendly, and service-oriented. So glad it's here.The beer and wine selection is incredible!

Love to shop here when we stay on our boat. Great 'hometown' grocery. Well stocked including many high-end items of foods, beers, wines, etc. Very friendly staff.Delivery to all local marinas!

The owner is local and will do his best to accommodate your needs. If there is a product they don't carry just ask and if at all possible they will get it.They have a great selection of Boars Head products.

They offer a good selection in most areas which is a pleasant surprise considering the location. I've not had a need to request any specialty items but have heard they are very accommodating.

Small, but convenient for the small town. They have a shuttle to service people that come to down by boat. Just call, and they'll come get you at the docks. Priced as you would expect for a small market, but considering the cost of transportation today, it is often the best choice because it is the close choice.

Love this little spot. They have some great produce and some specialty items as well. Friendly staff and if you live in Oriental its very convenient. Love that you can get gas with a credit card 24/7. Prices are higher than other places & if you've got a long list it's going to be very expensive here. Great for a few items really fast.

Friendly locally owned business. They carry most of the grocery items needed. If they don't have it just ask and if at all possible they will get it. The deli has a good selection of Boars Head products. Fuel for vehicles, boats available 24/7.

Delicious take out dinners. Today was orange chicken. Very tasty. Also, Boar's Head cold cuts are excellent! Good wine selection..usually something is on sale.

Piggly wiggly has great meat selections their prices on dry goods and staples are higher then larger grocery stores. Their desserts are good they used to be better because they were made in store but I don't think they are anymore.

Very clean and organized store! The staff is overly friendly, and more than ready to help any way they can! Every time I'm in there, I'm greeted by almost every employee with a smile, a hello, and is there any thing I can help you with! Everyone is very welcoming, they care about their customers, and their store, and all seem to be happy to be employees` there. The owner is always super friendly and working hard! Staff very friendly. Small, but well stocked and fruits and vegetables looked fresh. Shuttle service to accommodate boaters visiting the waterfront. Groceries and laundry are much in demand by transient boaters. Thanks to the management, they are serving boaters and giving them the warm welcome.

An absolute winner. A great selection of fresh produce, meat options and groceries packed into this location. The large cold beer selection is a great place to stock up. The store was the first place open in oriental after the hurricane and a savior with ice, water and friendly faces.

Probably the best Piggly I have ever been to. They have a shuttle service to the various marinas and the staff is top notch. Didn't get anything from the bakery, but it smelled heavenly.
