Susan Panousis, of Beth Frazer Realty, helped me close on my first home on October 6, 2023. To say she (and the entire firm) were awesome seems to be an understatement. Susan chauffeured me around Oriental, NC (my desired destination) several times. She somehow found, even though supply was low, a good mix of properties to show me. When a decision was finally made after a few stops and starts, she got the process off to an efficient and timely start. We stayed at Dragon Island rental with our large family group and loved it! The staff at Beth Frazer and Assoc. was wonderful to work with and gave us feed back on the few things we noticed that needed attention. The house and location were both perfect for our family. The only thing that affected us is negatively is that the bathroom door (slider) couldn't be latched and locked. (They are aware and will be addressing it.)We loved the spacious layout and the saltwater pool. The view is lovely and encourages you to relax. The brackish water is home to jellyfish and crabs. If we go again I would want to bring a kayak, too.Oh, the bed was so comfortable with nice linens...definitely a plus!

I cannot say enough amazing things about staying in the Backstay Condo! It is literally an oasis tucked away in the most most picturesque and quaint town. The condo has all the amenities including the most comfortable beds, huge kitchen and the icing on top is the huge screened in porch!The food choices are all within walking distance and are outstanding!! The restaurants are nestled in by the marina and pool and all are within walking distance.If you are looking for the perfect vacation, girls weekend, wedding venue accommodations or just a place to regain your balance, THIS is it!! We had been looking forward to our family vacation for months. The night before we were supposed to leave the house we had booked through another company (Via airbnb) was cancelled because of tropical storm Isaias. Heartbroken and frustrated i looked for another beach. I called Andy and he and Beth listened to me explain my situation and took it on themselves to work all morning and got us into another house and literally SAVED the day. Next time i will START the process with Andy and Beth instead of airbnb.When i called them i was frustrated with whole world! They were so patient with me and ended up saving our family vacation!

We moved to Oriental, rented a house through Beth Frazer & Assoc (BFA) and purchased a lot on which to build. Subsequently, we purchased an existing property and again BFA acted as our agent. When we moved out of the area, we listed both our lot and property with BFA. We received VERY little information or communication from BFA. Once the listing agreement for our property expired, we sought some engagement and communication from BFA before being comfortable extending the listing agreement. Only in notifying Beth of our upcoming visit to the area, did we learn our listing had been pulled without notifying us. As an existing client of BFA who had generated 4 separate real estate commissions for their agency, we were shocked. How very disappointing and unprofessional that this is how they treat their clients. We definitely do NOT recommend BFA as a listing agent.

All started out great - Cat, our agent was amazing! Took so much time with me finding the right place that would work. Then Covid19 hit and after emailing Cat numerous times, I FINALLY heard from Andy (assume he’s Cat’s boss) that she was a casualty of the virus economy. I was a little shocked that no one from the company had reached out to me - and it took me numerous attempts to hear back. As we struggled with deciding to travel to our rental or not, Andy provided no partnership or commraoditry during this unique period in our society. It took a him days to decide IF they would even allow us to cancel. After deliberating for a few days, he came back and told me he would allow us to cancel, but they would keep their booking fee (a few hundred dollars). Nice that he was making money from us during this time and sad that the employee who worked so hard to book us, was now laid off and wouldn’t even benefit from this fee. I appealed, asking at least if this was the decision that they allow us to apply the booking fee towards another rental, next summer, should we decide to return, but he was unwilling. Just feel that would have been a much better agreement overall, to show support and community. I’ll struggle to reach out in the future to Beth Frazer and Assoc.
