My first time taking my dog for a DIY bath here. Absolutely wonderful from the moment I arrived. I don’t understand the negative comments as I experienced nothing but wonderful! I paid and was given 2 towels (only used 1). I was impressed with everything while washing my dog. I was treated wonderful and helped immensely as this was my first time. My dog’s coat simply glistens after the wash and she doesn’t seem irritated by the shampoo provided even though she has sensitive skin issues.I visited again to utilize the dog bath on the evening of Dec 18 and again received EXCELLENT customer service from both men working that evening. Wonderful store!

The people at this location are always very friendly. They are eager to make sure you're getting good deals. Even the ones you're not completely aware of. They readily offer help loading your vehicle with heavy bags. And are very passionate about the animals and small creatures that they have for sale in the back. I was introduced to a small little hairless gerbil. I cannot remember his name lol but he was very cute. We were allowed to touch and pet him after we made a comment at the counter of how cute he was. The prices are always on point. And there seems to always be some kind of rebate on the products, to help move them off the shelf to make a way for fresh products. I give this store a five-star rating because they genuinely seem to care not only about the products, but about the customer. And the customers pets which are their true customers. Come see these people, I'm sure they will make your day bright

Customer service could go along way. It’s a shame they wouldn’t open the pet wash earlier like they do in other cities…I wonder if they’d have opened it for their ideal client? This is not my first bad shopping experience here…Wish there were more options for DIY pet washing…pet food is sold most anywhere, service is not. I was offered a choice between the high dog wash and the low one just to find and be told the lower one doesn’t work when all she had to do was cut the incoming water line on. So I lost 10 minutes because they want you to do their work! Ugh 🤦🏽‍♀️

My dogs and I have been visiting this store for the last few months and we absolutely love it. They always have great deals going on and the staff is always so sweet to my pups! Huge shoutout to Aaron for his awesome customer service- my dogs and I LOVE when we get to see him. Thank you guys for being the best!

Pretty good option for all that is pet supplies... Good selection, at least for everything I've ever needed, for our dog, cat, fish and snakes. Friendly staff, helpful and decent prices, and good facility in a well maintained shopping center. Definitely gets the job done.

The Bolivia store is going downhill. The dog washing area is always a mess, dirty, water all over the floor, hair in the sinks, no towels, empty soap, broken dryer. It was nice at one point. I hope it is again.And they have not had my dogs food twice now. I asked the cashier why they run out of food as I’m trying to support local Business but she was not friendly and said they are unpacking a bunch of pallets so try again tomorrow. How about walking back and checking.I hope they are able to correct.

I would give it 5 stars, but they were out of some stuff. Customer service was great! I do wish they had a bit more selection of cat litter. I buy the scoop away in bags comes 4 bags to a box. However they only had one choice for scoop away. I couldn't really tell if they were just out or didn't have placement for it. As someone who does merchandising for years I always look at tags and I didn't see any for more selections of what I was looking for. They didn't even have enough flea meds in stock. I was looking for capaction which is the equivalent of capstar. They had one box left. So I ended up having to go to Walmart and I dread ever having to shop there as I'm not impressed by any Walmart what so ever due to customer service, ours and many other factors, but this is not about Walmart though. This is the only pet store in the area that I happen to work in so there are no choices. I don't live close to a pet store. I think the closest one to my house is 25min away. So this location is convenient due to where I work. The store was also very clean as well. The prices are definitely a little more expensive just as you would expect from a pet store and inflation. We can't put a price on our pets or family. So I'm in no way complaining, just giving my honest review based on personal first time experience. I appreciate the staff at the store for being understanding and accommodating. If you live in the area and order stuff from pet stores like on Instacart. I recommend this local pet store. They have a rewards program just like their competitors and it's definitely more convenient than driving to Wilmington or almost to Myrtle Beach to places like pet smart.

These kind people allowed me to post a flyer of my lost pet, after 6 months of searching I found my cat 30 miles away! I went back to get a new collar and my flyer was still there! What a relief to be able to tell them my pet had been found! They seemed as overjoyed as I was!

VIP Pet Care was absolutely atrocious. They missed my puppies follow up appointment for his booster shots(they decided not to come in) and then had the audacity to blame ME! They said I needed to pay for first round shots again! Absolutely ridiculous.Luckily, their phone customer service has more sense than their in-person employees. They are currently resolving issue with the regional manager, but still... absolute nonsense.It's my hope that Pet Supplies Plus holds their partners more accountable!*Edit per owner response* As Pet Supplies Plus chooses to let VIP pet care use their facilities, then yes, Pet Supplies Plus is also responsible. It is up to Pet Supplies Plus to direct their partners (which includes entities that you allow to conduct business in your stores) on how to properly behave, and how they are to treat customers.You allow them to take up multiple aisles and space within your store to conduct their business. This review will be adjusted and changed when proper steps have been taken to remedy the situation, but until such time, this review shall stay.I'm assuming you have some guidelines in place to protect yourself in the event that your partners do something untoward? If not, that would be foolish.Additionally, you have pages on your website dedicated to VIP pet care.My review is exactly where it needs to be.

Has the brand dog food I use (Nutrisource), which is hard to find anywhere else unless online. Staff is great and friendly, offer to help you carry heavy things to your car too! Only thing I'd recommend is to have larger plain bully sticks for the big dogs.
