Granted, you can't find everything you'd want here, but you will find everything you'd need. Clean store, well stocked and friendly folks... staff and customers alike. Saved us a trip to Ingles. Prices were cheaper on some items but generally a tad higher... still better than having to drive to Marion or over Black Mountain.

This family owned grocery store is very well maintained and has a amazing displays/upkeep. Everyone was very friendly and despite checkout lines being long due to space the staff kept everything moving and orderly

Great little hometown grocery store. Very small but really does keep a pretty fair selection. We love it because it is close to home and beats having to go through Walmart. Prices are pretty competitive some thing's are a little higher but it's worth it and customer service is great they have the best cashiers.

As the only little grocery in Old Fort, they had most everything (tho no beer, dry county) and prices weren't insane, tho obviously more expensive than larger chains, having this in town is great!

I liked it alot, reminds me of how grocery stores looked while I was growing up. Small but had all the brand names and their meat looked great. Good deals on the steaks! I will definitely be back. Could easily be 5 stars with a couple more trips

I just moved to Old Fort and I was excited that they had a local grocery. It is small but for the size, they have decent variety. The staff have always been kind when I shop there and that is really a big deal to me! They are working on some sort of renovations right now so I’m excited to see what they add!

A locally owned grocery store in Old Fort which is continuing to improve with the times. They feature a wonderful selection of hand cut meats, the produce area is improving and has added an organic section. The store is adding specialty items which means that it isn't always necessary to shop out of town. A downside, aisles are crowded with sale items which makes them easy to find but difficult to get around if the store is crowded. Over all, a nice place to shop while staying local.

...as the only game in town-Our little grocery store has generally great buys. The customer service is normally excellent and pricing for a monopoly source is not horrendous.We the owners personally and they are wonderful people.

Great specials on beef and pork on a regular basis. Some items are more expensive than the big box in Marion, but most items are priced about the same as the regular grocery stores. It's smaller than the grocery stores, so the choice is sometimes limited. But I'm often surprised that they do carry exactly what I am looking for.

We're vacationing in Old Fort staying in Gateway Mountain Community in North Carolina. It was a long ride from Sarasota so when we woke up and needed to buy groceries we didn't want to drive to Ashville. We went to Frisbees. Amazing local grocery store with lovely people and everything we needed at a super reasonable price. Kyla was our check out assistant . She was great. Thank you !!!

They always have a large selection at reasonable prices. I really love the selection they now have in organic/healthy options. As I have recently had to omit sugars from my diet, it makes it much easier to pick something up for dinner without having to go out of town.

Their meat selection isn't that great. A few times I tried to get fresh fruit but it was all moldy. I had to help another customer because their employees wouldn't. I didn't mind helping the elderly lady at all. However, she asked one of their employees for help and they gave her attitude. So I finished checking out and helped her. The elderly woman asked help with onions she needed a sweet onion. The employee looked at her and said " How am I supposed to know. I'm busy with other customers." I looked at the girl and said, "I don't mind waiting since I'm the only one in line." The girl looked at me and said "Well she should find it on her own. That's why we have signs on our stuff." I just shook my head and told the woman I would help her. I only go here if I don't have the time to go to Food lion or Wal-Mart.

Pretty impressed with their product selection. They had avocados, agave syrup and So Delicious coconut milk coffee creamer?! Did not expect that for such a tiny little store. Only four stars because the hummus I bought was already expired :(

Old Fort is a small community and I was content to have a small market in town. 15 minutes away from the campground we stayed at so we made sure to buy enough of our necessities in order to avoid unnecessary trips. Small parking lot and prices are decent, you'll find what you need but don't expect a huge selection of healthy/gourmet items what you'd typically find at larger grocers.

Great staff. Close to home. The store has changed a lot in the last 7 years for the better. More variety of products, cleaner store and great prices on fruits and vegetables! Their sales are awesome!

Not many Small Town grocery stores have it all goin on like Old Forts Frisbee's market!! Entering the store you right away in a store that all items are fresh n in order, especially if you follow the traditionally round the outer edge of store shopping!! Interesting deserts display n the fresh vegetables area always like fresh picked!! On round dairy n ta the well known n talked about Meat dept where any cut of meat available n fresh n ready on a nice display!! N between outer edge shopping you find any type canned goods ya looking for,plus all type other sundries!! On round to all types breads n rolls always fresh! You exit to always friendly n efficient girls running registers always polite n helpful to everyone!! Yep so give Old Forts Frisbee's a try on your next grocery run, n see why there's always a full parking lot!--Stuart Robinson-

No other grocery store compares. Every shelf is meticulously blocked and stocked. It is said that this very store was Andy Warhol's inspiration.The staff is kind and respectful. Every shopping experience is like entering a 90's sitcom.

Good deal on their meats! Everyone is always friendly. Always has what I'm looking for even when Walmart doesn't and it's closer than driving to walmart!

I won't go out of my way to support this store anymore,honestly! Selection available is...."decent"....but frankly speaking,very limited and the unfriendly staffing is not customer service oriented so if you're not a local, then your business is not actually appreciated at all! I went here because I was trying to support local business! Well the owners don't appreciate that so I will certainly be buying elsewhere if I have an alternative.....I'D RECOMMEND WALMART IN MARION INSTEAD and that says alot.....they don't appreciate your patronage at Frisbee's my friends!

It’s a small town grocery store. It’s great for the convince of not having to drive to Walmart or Ingles. However; there are some employees there that have a real attitude problem. I asked for some help to get something off the top shelf due to I’m short and someone stacked one too many things on top of one another. Without preventing a spill or knocking shelves down trying to get it. I walked up to the front counter and asked if I could get some help getting something off the top shelf. The girl looks at me and goes, “and you think I can help you?”Uh, excuse me? I’m asking if I can receive some help. If you cannot help me; that’s fine. However; the attitude isn’t fine nor is the lack of decent customer service. All it would take would be to get one of your other employees to help me.Anyway; another employee said they can help as they were close by. Great. Thanks!So we get over there and I pointed to the cat litter boxes. He was like, “well, there’s 3 here isn’t it the same thing?”Well, good sir, it is but if I only needed 3 I wouldn’t have asked to get the others that were stacked behind a hanging shelf now would I? SMH.I informed him that I needed 5. Which is why I need the help. I simply cannot get them out without causing the shelving unit to fall.Like, I’m so sorry that I inconvenienced you to help me with something so I wouldn’t cause a bigger mess for you to clean up.This isn’t the first time that I’ve encountered attitudes either. However; I brush it off and try to get in and out as fast as possible.It’s better over at Dollar General now that they’ve added a grocery section to it.

Good local grocery store especially since it's the only one that's local in Old Fort... otherwise you have to drive to marion or black mountain. The kind of place to pick up a few items that you need, but alot cheaper to shop at the larger stores if you need to get a week's worth of groceries

Stopped in one day on the way to Asheville due to being rerouted because of a traffic delay on I40. It reminded me of the old A&P in the town I grew up in. It had the elevated office area in the corner and the bathrooms were located in the stockroom. It was like stepping back in time.Awesome experience. We bought a Frisbee's frisbee and a box of Little Debbie Nutty Buddys for the road.
