Janet is the Sweetest person. She loved our Zoey and treated her like her own. Our dog loved her. The facility is extremely clean and smells great! Janet walks the dogs 4 times a day. You have 24/7 access with a code so you can see your pup and take them out as much as you'd like. We had planned and paid for the trip to Ocracoke and had a dog sitter. The sitter had a family emergency and our AIRBNB was not pet friendly. We called Janet at Sandy Paws and she was SOOO Accommodating!! Can't recommend this business enough!!!

We loved our experience with Sandy Paws. We had 24 hour access to our dog, and just adopting a new puppy I was anxious to leave her. Absolutely the best care provided and Millie loved her! I would trust her with my dog any day ❤️ Thank you!!

It was very very clean and she keeps the kennel very cool and comfortable. Janet the owner was so nice and good with the animals she walks them all several times a day cleans up their mess and very patient with the animals that aren't so well behaved. I highly recommend Sandy Paws 🐶🐕🐩🐺🐈

We boarded our mini dachshund for a week here because our hotel isn't pet friendly. The kennels are impeccably clean and air conditioned but more importantly, Janet was a doll and so wonderful with our baby. All my fears and worries disappeared and Piper thrived at Sandy Paws. I can't recommend this business any more!

OMG! I am a veterinarian with 30 plus years of experience and I have NEVER seen a facility that was kept cleaner nor better maintained than Sandy Paws! Janet made everything so easy for us. She took EXCELLENT care of our 3 dogs and even spent some extra time with our 8-month old large breed pup--we were anxious that he have a good first boarding experience and Janet did not disappoint!We were very, very pleased with the set up and the ease with which we were able to pick up and drop off our dogs each day --- nice to be able to take them for a romp on the beach anytime we wanted to, but also to know that when we were out fishing, etc, we did not have to feel guilty because Janet was tending to them.I simply cannot say enough nice things! Thank you, Janet!!!

This was PERFECT to meet our needs of caring for our Lilly while still enjoying our vacation. I loved that we could come and go with her that fit our schedule, and she was so comfortable staying here overnight! We knew she was happy and well taken care of! Such a wonderful experience! We absolutely love Sandy’s Paws. Your dog will be well carded for in this secure, air conditioned kennel along with it approximately 20 friends. They each have their own bed, food and water.Sandy walks each dog several times per day.The owner can stop by, take their dog out for the day, and bring him or her home for the evening.There’s no question how much she loves caring for your furry family member.

Janet is so sweet and hard working ! We took our 8 month old puppy to stay at Sandy Paws for the weekend as most motels aren’t pet friendly . Janet took great care of our boy. Her facility is extremely clean and smells great ! We were able to pick him up / drop him off as we pleased and she was always available to answer calls and gave us updates when we stopped by as she is on premises most of the time. Highly recommend

His is a wonderful, clean and very nice place to board your dog while on Ocracoke. Janet takes amazing care of all the pets and keeps the place spotless. You are provided a code so that you can come visit your pet any time. I highly recommend Sandy Paws.

Brought my 2 young German Shepherds here and they had a great time! It was their first time being left anywhere like this and they were made to feel at home. The facility is very clean and spacious, the land is great for the dogs to be able to get walks in as well. The lady running the operation was incredibly nice, catering to all of the dogs’ needs and our wants. It is incredibly easy to also sign the dogs out to get some time around the village and beach. The other thing that stood out to me is return customers from all over the country like Colorado and New Jersey. 10/10 recommended and I will certainly be a returning customer.

Highly recommend Sandy Paws...my first experience and for my Chesapeake Bay Retriever as well. Very clean, organized, air conditioned, and much love& care given when we have him a break from the fun and sun. He was excited when we brought him back. Can't say enough how great it is...even if we rent a pet friendly house we will keep him here ..means alot when someone is looking after him at night, taking him for a walk while the wife and I are having some alone time around town

My wife and I camped for a week and wanted a cool place to keep our dog during the hot days. The kennel was great, ac, keypad so we could see him anytime we wanted and the owner was very accommodating, friendly and takes care of every pup like her own.
