The best place to get your seafood and the most wonderful people to talk to and learn from! They sell local fisherman's products straight to you and for a fair price. So if you're ever around and craving some fresh seafood this is the first place you should go!

Small town, caught fresh every day fish! We ate fresh seafood every night of my family's yearly vacation to Ocracoke Isl, NC. During the beautiful days at the beach we plan what we want to make for dinner and on our way home stop by the Ocracoke Seafood Co. for the catch of the day. Clams for appetizers and fresh fish for dinner every night! The ladies that work there are charming and helpful. They always make us feel welcome. We will never go anywhere else for fresh seafood.

Love, love, love this place. Seafood is right out of the ocean. Straight from the boats to you. How can you go wrong? Patty has great recipes to share if you ask. Shane is in the back and does amazing fillets. Best people in Ocracoke.

We picked up gorgeous fresh caught filets for my husbands birthday dinner. The fish was so fresh and delicious!!!! They even packed it on ice for us and gave us a complimentary “Ocracoke fig cake” to celebrate with! That fig cake was just like the fish! You will never find better! Incredible find!

I buy all my fish there. Get there by 11 am. I carry back all types of fish. I just dry and vacuum pack. Last 6 months to 1 year.

Always has a great variety of fresh seafood. Great support of the local community. We always get shrimp and scallops. They usually have about a dozen different things from yellowfin tuna to mahi. Three different sizes of shrimp and even had fresh oysters this year. Scallops are my favorite, about 12 to 14 to a pound. Highly recommend!

While visiting Ocracoke, I decided to bring home some fresh seafood. ALL of the seafood I bought was fresh and the customer service outstanding. They iced down the seafood for my 4 hour trip home at no charge. Highly recommend and if you do choose to patronize this seafood market, know that it supports the local fisherman.

The A-1, best seafood market on the outer banks.OK, I haven't been to every seafood market on the outer banks. But, I do come to Ocracoke three or four times a year. I am never (ever) disappointed by the Ocracoke Seafood Co. More than just the quality of the seafood, you are supporting the local fishing community. You will get expert advice as to what fish is best and freshest that day.If you visit Ocracoke, you should stop here first for your seafood needs.

We get our shrimp here for our traditional shrimp boil every year. Always fresh. They often sell out of the shrimp by mid-afternoon. The cocktail sauce is spicy the way I Iike it.Upgraded after further review.

Friendly staff and a great selection of seafood. We arrived right when they opened (11:00) and was lucky enough to get some cobia before it was gone. We also purchased yellow fin tuna and Spanish mackerel, yum yum. Go early to get the best selection.

This is a great place to get ice to fill your cooler or fish box. They have an ice house with a big shovel! if you get there early you pay on the honor system. Guys working there are awesome. They always get my business when I am out at Ocracoke. Cant wait to go back!

Too crowded. The crab we were given was not good, only half fresh and more shell than usual. The fish we bought was just OK. The next day we bought excellent local tuna and shrimp elsewhere. We will not be back.

Always caught in season. Just ask Patty "the fish lady" and she'll tell you when it was caught and how to cook it! Love this place! We had Tuna, Tilefish, Cobia, and Red Drum. All were caught within 24 hours.

I've been buying seafood here for 20+ years when vacationing on Ocracoke Island. Fresh seafood here is authentic, locally caught, and delicious. Today I purchased some shrimp and Zatarain's Shrimp Creole base. (I had scoured the rest of the island for a shrimp creole mix to no avail. I must say other vendors are extremely helpful when they don't have something others might have) This place is also historic. See their website for more on the history of the Ocracoke watermen all the way back to the 1700s. This is one of the few places left where you can hand around to hear some Ococker dialect. Thanks guys!
