It was our 12th time visiting the Island & out 1st at Cappy’s Cottage. The pictures on line did not do it justice & to top things off it was impeccably clean. The yard was a wonderful addition for our dogs. We will definitely stay there again.

We loved the loved rental property that we stayed in during our trip to Ocracoke. The house was beautiful and was sparkling clean when we arrived. The whole process of renting the home was so easy with going through Ocracoke Island Realty. They kept us updated and informed on every step through the whole process. I couldn't have been more pleased. I will definitely use them again with our future trips to Ocracoke.

Super easy process to book online. Everyone I talked to at the office spoke genuinely and were quick to answer my questions. They truly made my first rental experience on the island beyond simple!We stayed at Bikini Bottom and it was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked with more appliances and utensils than you would expect. No need to bring anything from home other than clothes, and some food.Ocracoke island reality really set the table for my family to have an amazing first visit here. So much so that we plan to stay at least 2 weeks next year. There is so much to do and time is on your side.

This was the first year we were able to rent a house thru OCR. We were very excited and happy with all the help they offered to make our stay as wonderful as possible. Our house was amazing and we are very grateful we can rent it again next year. We are already making plans!!

Very easy to deal with. Easy check in and out process. We stayed at the Lindley. Great place for a small family. There are pine trees out front so we always had sap on our vehicle. Other than that everything was great!

We have been coming to OI for many years. Most years we have rented from OIR and have always had positive experiences. We just left the island today and were very pleased with our rental home once again. We stayed at Beach Therapy which was a nicely decorated and comfy 2BR home on Sunset Drive. We will definitely be back! Unfortunately we did not take pictures of the home, but plenty of this gorgeous island.

Our rental property was absolutely gorgeous and pristinely clean. Linens were nice and location to the lighthouse, Silver Lake, all the restaurants were within walking distance. The wild, beautiful Ocracoke beaches speak for themselves. Ocracoke Island Realty we’re wonderful to work with - reservations we’re simple. From payment to check in and checkout- all seem less and with great service. Could not have been a better experience.

We can't say enough good things about Ocracoke Island Realty staff. Prior to our trip to the island, they were prompt in their responses and fielded all questions that we had. They were incredibly approachable and a pleasure to work with. Additionally, when we brought a few issues with our house to their attention, we were pleasantly surprised by their response and enjoyed our time visiting the team in their office. Looking forward to booking a house through them next year.

Ocracoke Realty was awesome to work with. The communication was 10 stars. We truly enjoyed our beach vacation on the island. The apartment was a great location and just what we needed. Nothing fancy but good for a beach week. Loved the front porch the best.

My family and I have rented houses through Ocracoke Island Realty for over 15 years. They have always provided excellent service. The houses are always meticulously cleaned and fully equipped. I will continue to use Ocracoke Island Realty for all my future trips to the island.

We spent the Week at Soundview (OC13) and it was a wonderful week. Ocracoke Island Realty did a great job for our two families! Everything was fantastic. We really appreciated having our rental ready so early in the day.We have stayed with OIR in the past and will do so again.

We stayed at Tight Lines and absolutely loved the property! It was great to have a huge backyard for the dog to play, we also enjoyed having two separate buildings. The outdoor shower was so awesome that we didn't even use the indoor one. It felt like the owners moved away just yesterday and left us a fully stocked kitchen (spices included!), a ton of books, magazines, and games, even their pictures on the walls. It made us feel at home. Can't wait to be back next year! Kids said that vacation in Ocracoke was better than the one we had at Disney World! We loved Ghost/History tours, crab-watching, driving a golf card, visiting the Preservation Society museum, beautiful beaches, but most importantly - the island atmosphere.

We have stayed on Ocracoke with Ocracoke Island reality 6 times and each time has been amazing. This last year we stayed at Cappy's Cottage with our dog and my children and I loved having him be able to join us. Beautiful house, beautiful island.

We just got home from our week on Ocracoke Island. We had the craziest weather and was so glad we had rented from Ocracoke Island Realty. The house we stayed at was Casa de Amour and it was great. We spent a lot of time indoors because of the weather and loved it. The house was spotless when we checked in and the entire process was a breeze. Getting around the Island on the golf cart we rented for the week was a blast. Even when the winds were gusting... we made the best of it all. We loved Dajios and Jason's. Eduardo's was delicious also. All in all even with terrible weather we loved our stay on Ocracoke and will definitely be back next year and will be getting our house from Ocracoke Island Realty.

We stayed at Livin Outta line 5/28-6/4 and it was an adorable house very clean with awesome canal front views! This was our very first trip to Ocracoake and we are in love and will definitely be back! Ocracoake island realty made it very easy to checkin and checkout, and stayed in touch via text throughout our whole stay. We will definitely use them again!

We have been going to Ocracoke now for over 10 years. We love it there as do our children. We are true Ding Batters through and through. Back from when you had no cell reception on island to today. You need to get away? You need to do a little work? You need great food on island? Ocracoke is the place to go for sure! What makes it better is the whole rental process that OIR does for you. Pretty much a zero touch especially on the newer houses or revamp of older houses with keyless entry. Login online, check out the houses including all the great pictures and book. Get your door entry via text and that is it. Next thing to do is just go and enjoy your time. Need extra blankets, beach chairs, a golf cart for those that need help getting around, or even for those that like to ride bikes. They have just about all the things you need except for the fun you bring for you and your family. Want to do a little fishing? There are several docks that you can get to that allow for easy fishing and crabbing. Or just go to the shore side at the many different entry points along the Atlantic shore. Ocracoke is the new San Fran. There is just something about Ocracoke! Even our dogs loved it.

Such a beautiful week at our favorite place!! Safe Harbor was a perfect place for our family with 3 grown children and 2 dogs! From the beach every day, to Zillie’s wine tasting, to the Flying Melon and The Dajio- we made so many memories!! See ya in September!

We stayed at Castle Villa II. It was amazing. We had views of Silver Lake which was beautiful day and night. The house was clean when we walked in the door. Ocracoke Realty was in communication with us before, during and after our stay. We love to eat at Pony Island for breakfast and The Flying Melon is a MUST!!! The food is top notch. Of course we had our lunch under our umbrella on the beach. The Slushie Shack has a salted caramel pretzel ice cream that rivals any I have tasted. We have always had a great experience with Ocracoke Realty. Never disappoints.

We had a great stay at the Boyette Condos! It is within walking distance to the lighthouse, Springer’s Point, and plenty of local places! Our place was so clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. We loved having the pool! Our favorite places to visit: Jason’s, Eduardo’s, Magic Bean, Sweet Tooth, Native Seafood, Smacnally’s, Books to be Red, Moonraker, Ocracoke Beach Fires, Village Craftsmen. We always love visiting the Pony Pen and the OPS museum.. and of course watching the beautiful sunsets!

We’ve been renting through Ocracoke Island Realty for many years. Making reservations online or by phone is super easy. The staff is friendly and responsive. After our annual visit in August, I forgot to reserve the house for the same week next year. They called me to check in before making it available to someone else. Now that is excellent customer service!

We had a wonderful time. The condo we stayed in was exactly as advertised and perfectly spotless.I have absolutely nothing to complain about other than I couldn’t get the TV to work in my bedroom but that’s hardly even worth mentioning.We had a perfectly enjoyable week and if I come back to Ocracoke for another vacation I will rent this condo again.Ocracoke Island Realty was also excellent to work with and very good with communication as we had had a tropical storm the day we were to arrive and they kept us informed about the ferry and the weather

The customer service with Ocracoke Island Realty is outstanding! Madi went above and beyond to help us get our perfect rental.We had AMAZING views with a dock, and a super comfy media room.Ocracoke will remain our favorite vacation destination! Relaxing beaches, perfect waves, golf carts to get to shops, coffee, dining. The food is beyond amazing every time ❤️

Ocracoke is a quaint little island where you can enjoy peace and serenity at one of the most beautiful beaches in America. You can drive down hwy12 and find areas of the beach where you can enjoy uncrowded spots and just relax.My other favorite part is the fact that it is very dog friendly; from the rental houses to the beach. I appreciate that beach time for my dogs is not limited to early mornings or later in the evening. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the price of food given the quality, specifically Howard's Pub. We have been visiting ocracoke for the last 20 years and the quality and service there has continued to get worse. This year we were very disappointed with Howard's. We'll likely keep coming back to ocracoke but we will not visit Howard's pub again. All in all ocracoke is still our favorite place to go!

I had a wonderful time as always at Captains Landing, my favorite place to stay on Ocracoke! The staff is amazing. The accommodations are beautiful, clean, and in a great location. Right in the center of the village, on the water, with beautiful views. One of my sons uses a wheelchair, and the ADA compliant room there was perfect for him. I also got a bike and have previously gotten a golf cart from Captains Landing - very convenient and easy. We love DAJIO, Ocracoke Oyster Company, and of course Eduardo’s. Springers Point is close by and a beautiful easy hike. Ocracoke Realty made the reserving and paying very easy.

We had a wonderful first family vacation with our 2 toddlers. The booking was made very easy and the house we rented was absolutely lovely. Everything was clean and ready for our stay. We had an amazing time until our youngest toddler had a medical emergency that cut our stay short by 3 days, even still it was incredible while it lasted. I’m so grateful my kids got to experience Ocracoke as their first vacation and first time seeing the ocean. We hope to go back again.
