Absolutely loved this place. It's definitely hard to get to but worth the Ferry Ride over. Enjoyed a flight of the following (from L to R): Notorious F.I.G. Wheat with local Figs; Needs More Cowbell Milk Stout; Vera Cruz Mexican Lager infused with Lime and Salt; F@#% Around and Find Out Belgian Tripel; Rye-Toid Rye Ale. The Notorious F.I.G. is one of the best beers I've ever had. Simply delicious. The F@#% Around was my very close 2nd.Also enjoyed lunch from the in-house restaurant, Plum Pointe Restaurant. I had the Zucchini Carrot Pasta with Thai Peanut Sauce and Cashews with Grilled Chicken.

1718 Brewery, comes from their local address, they have a very interesting selection of beers to be a brewery on an island. Their flavors are on point and they have a great selection of beers! Their staff is super friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed all the beers after we tried our flight. They have a restaurant inside, Plum Point Kitchen, and it's amazing!!! All their food is great and I recommend the Pretzel with Crab meat. The brewery has indoor seating, outdoors and a roof seating that is amazing!!!. I highly recommend it 🔥🔥🔥

Yes! Yes! I'm not a big beer fan so when my friends wanted to go, I was a little hesitant. I'm so glad I decided to go! There's something for everyone. I like sweet beer and the Cherry was delicious. I also tried the Mexican chocolate which wasn't too bad but it wasn't as sweet as some of the others. Food was delivered hot and tasted great! Had a great time hanging with the locals and learning more about the island. They offer inside and outside seating. Definitely will be going back!

Really nice selection of brews on tap, and the kitchen had some delicious eats. The bartender was friendly and helpful, even to a dingbatter like me who didn't initially get that the Rye-Toid beer was a play on the Hoi Toid (high tide) local brogue. Love everything we tried here

Great beers, great location, upstairs deck is perfect to watch a sunset from while sipping beers that are hitting the mark. We tried three, from the Kolsch to the Dark Lager to the Rye Ale. 5 stars. If you love Ocracoke Island and love great beer, you need to visit.

Very good microbrewery here in Ocracoke. Wide selection of beers so there's something for everyone. We did 2 flights of 4 so tried everything they had on tap, all were good. They also have food severed from a vendor on site ant the BBQ sandwich we had was great. Overall nice building with indoor/outdoor seating.

Very interesting flavors of Brew that are crafted right here on the island. The only complaint I had was I gave the bar keep $50 bill and received a change back for a $20 bill. My Tab was $15.50 of which she gave me $4.50 out of $50 bill. When I brought it to her attention she did not count cash drawer but immediately gave me the correct change. I'm sure it could have been an honest mistake :-)

The beer is excellent. We have a lot of experience with craft beer over the last 30+ years, and this brewery is doing a great job.The food, meh. The red drum in the fish tacos was fresh and good, but who uses stale hard shell corn taco shells in 2022? The 1970s called, they want their tacos back. The sliders were fine. The beef and blue cheese was the best of the three.I would happily come back for the beer.

This place does craft beer right with a great selection and something on tap for every pallet. They have a kitchen onsite and the food looked amazing. The brewery itself is laid out well with a great patio down stairs and upstairs. Had a flight and grabbed a growler to go. Highly recommend stopping and relaxing with a beer.

Stopped here after a day walking around Ocracoke. Been coming to do day trips on the island since I was a kid, and this is a great addition. Awesome setup with lots of selection, even brewing a cider as well, so plenty for everyone. We didn't get any food, but we saw the jumbo crab stuffed pretzel and it was huge and looked delicious (made me wish I had saved room for snacks from lunch).

Great atmosphere and great beer. There usually isn't much to talk about with a small brewery on a small island, but man oh man these brews are legit. Hazy IPAs, Sours and even their cider were all delicious. The staff was friendly too. The fish and chips from the attached restaurant was some of the freshest I have ever had. I hope to come back some day.

Thought this was a great place. Don't know if they were short on staff but the guy working the taps was doing everything. Hats off to him. Pretty busy for one guy. No time to wipe down tables.I would definitely suggest the flights. For the price it is definitely worth it.

Outstanding local beer Brewing on the island. The said part of the secret is the high quality water they use and I said also a great brewmaster! Also a beautiful building and I like they sell smaller sizes too for I did not want a while pint.

A communication mixup meant we missed out on an opportunity to enjoy the brewery in person but they totally made good on our missed visit. In an era of hit or miss customer service, 1718 really stands out as a beacon. Fans for life.

Wonderful beer! We loved their sours, the prickly pear was superb and we ended up getting a growler of it. Very nice place to sit and relax with friends. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Plum Kitchen provides delicious food! They're sweet potato chips are fantastic!

I miss this brewery and beer so much when I am not on the Island. I love their style and variety of beers. I usually visit this place about once a day when I am on the island. The staff is always amazing. Make sure to try a flight if you are visiting for the first time.

Obsessed with this place! Awesome food & huge beer selection, all were delicious. The atmosphere is amazing, and it's such a neat environment. 2 level indoor seating, upper deck seating, and outdoor seating if you've got the pups. Will absolutely be back!

The beer is great here. They have awesome names. I actually LOL when I saw one called "F@#% around and find out". Only complaint is the LONG wait for a drink. One bartender doing orders and money working as hard as she could. Would have been OK if groups didn't keep getting flights of beer. Either way worth a stop!

Great experience! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great. They had a respectable beer selection. The chef, Aaron, was amazing. My table had bacon wrapped shrimp, wings, oyster poboy, fried grits, and almost all the sliders. Everything was delicious but the most amazing part was the chips. I can't stand sweatpotato fries, chips, wedges, ect. They didn't have an option for anything but sweatpotato chips as a side. We were fighting over the last ones. I was shocked!

Dropped by a little long for wear after last night's romp and was greeted by a great bartender that took great care of us and our quadra ped (dog). Went above and beyond welcoming us inside and producing a bow of water and a flight of locally brewed treats. Going to put this on our radar for earlier in the visit for a fresh kidney to sample a few more of their pints. Thank you again, shall return.

Awesome vibe, great beers and incredible food. The crab stuffed pretzel was the reason for our visit and it didn't disappoint! Love it!
