I just got a cockatiel from this place. This lady is extremely educated on everything about birds!I highly advise you guys to check her out, she is nice, she is very helpful and sells great birds. They are all handfed. She does a great job raising them.They are very tame, she takes the time to take care of her birds, and she even brings them home with her. Anna (The owner) is very passionate about her job. They have a TON of cute cages, and cute toys, that are good quality. It makes me think that it's not even worth going online, after having this place right by! Great place in my opinion, we get all of our bird needs from here.

We had decided to purchase our daughter a companion bird for her birthday and were searching the internet for the perfect bird. Living in different states, we would send listings back and forth. Our daughter met us at the beach to visit my parents and as we were driving to a weekend festival I noticed a little bird supply store on the side of the road. With nothing to lose, we did a u-turn and went back to see if they might have birds for sale. The owner asked if she could assist us with anything and we told her our daughter was searching for a special companion. Rather than telling us what she had in stock she pulled our daughter aside and asked what she was looking for. She wanted to understand how my daughter would be interacting with the bird. Once she had some information she took our daughter to the aviary, pulled Jiggy out and put him on our daughter's hand. Jiggy was a blue and silver Quaker parrot. It was love at first sight for both of them. I was super impressed that the store owner was as concerned about finding the right home for her bird as she was about making sure my daughter got the right bird for her lifestyle. We could not have asked for a better experience. I wish all pet stores operated like this!!! Jiggy has a new home and our daughter has a new best friend...

The owner don’t care about the birds themselves or anything. She is a know it all as well. We had took our bird in to get her flight feathers trimmed so she wouldn’t fly off from us. She ended up cutting ALL of her flight feathers off them asked my 6 year old child to throw our bird. Lucky my child didn’t throw her hard like she has throw other things. Since all our birds flight feathers was cut and gone she didn’t even have a way of even slowing herself down when falling. Now I get to lay our bird to rest cause she fell and didn’t make her landing and didn’t have no way of slowing herself down. This bird was so tame it she stayed on my Boyfriends shoulders as long as nothing scared her. Which is the only reason we wanted to trim a few feathers so she won’t get to far. All this lady could say is you shouldn’t have brought her here and was being smart about everything she said.

I appreciated talking to another parrot owner and she knew the breeder I buy from. I bought another cage for my Quaker that he cannot escape from. Found them to have good deals on cages. Also have a variety of toys ,food and birdie breada.

This bird shop is wonderful. She is very compassionate and understanding. Very knowledgeable about the birds. There have been times I have called her and asked her questions about the bird, she has always stopped what she was doing and answered the questions I had. If I ever called and she was closed I left a message she has called me back as soon as she got back to the shop! This is my second purchase and will continue to purchase from her. I could not ask for a better person to deal with!!!!

Every time we go to Sunset Beach Exotic pet store the owner is always very helpful and knowledgeable about all birds. The place is always clean and has a great choice of toys for all birds. Toys and cages are priced very fairly.

Great, friendly people. Driving from Fayetteville to Sunset Beach to buy a bird is quite the trip, but it was worth it. We left with a new feathered baby. The selection was decent, compared to the places in Fayetteville it was like the Super Wal-Mart of exotic bird stores. They board as well, as we found out when we were told we couldn't buy some if the biggest personalities in the shop.

Not good on her word. Was supposed to hold a bird for me from Wednesday to Saturday then sold the bird Wednesday evening after she wouldn’t take my deposit over the phone. And promised me she would hold him. Then it wouldn’t have been a problem if she would answer my phone calls I would have talked to her before saying anything.

Do yourself a favor, and get your purchase elsewhere. We purchased what we thought were 2 female "Mini-Rex" bunnies. Not even close, and not even from the same litter. When we went to pick them up the first words out of her mouth were"one is the runt of the litter, and that's why there is a size difference" We prepaid for both of them, and she told us as we picked them up that there were no refunds. At that moment we knew we had been ripped off. Not only were these rabbits not "Mini-Rex", but they were both "MALES" all they did was fight, and spray each other the whole time. Our 2 girls were so disappointed. She was incredibly rude, defensive, and hateful, knowing the whole time that she had screwed up!This woman is a con artist!
