Awesome ice cream shop with delicious flavors (I tried chocolate moose tracks and cappuccino crunch in a homemade waffle cone)! The prices are incredibly reasonable for the portion size. The employees were very friendly, and we loved hearing about the history of the shop from the namesake's (Pete's) granddaughter, who served us our ice cream. My family was sad that we didn't discover this shop earlier in our vacation so that we could visit more often during our stay!

The fudge they make is delicious! The staff is normally very friendly. This visit, we assume the gentleman that served us was the owner. He was not as friendly and a little impatient. Also, when we got home, we found the boxes to have fudge and caramel on the outside. NOT the way we wanted to present these gifts to friends.

Our first time visiting Pete's this vacation and we returned twice. The first was to taste the fudge.... absolutely delicious! The 2nd and 3rd were for ice-cream. My waffle cone was the best ever....still warm when they handed it to me! Great service! A definite go to for our future vacations!!

A great little shop for all your ice cream, milk shake, home-made fudge, and salt-water taffy needs. Plus, it also has one of those powder candy dispenser things. My husband and I got milkshakes and they let you mix flavors. It was yummy! We came back a few days later to get saltwater taffy for our neighbors and coworkers.

First time visit to this very sweet store! HahaHad a wonderful conversation with the owner. He makes the best fudge! Buy a pound and get a half pound free! Owner makes the fudge and says he never tastes it, good thing, if it were me I'd need to be rolled out every night. Can't wait to visit again! Yummy

We visited Subway (which is right nextdoor) for a light lunch and then got ice cream at Pete's Sweets. The next day we had to go back for more!! Recommended flavors: chocolate moose tracks, banana pudding, strawberry, mint choc.

Nice little sweets shop that has very unique and original fudge flavors in addition to traditional favorites. We loved the butterscotch last year, but they sadly didn't have it this year because the busy season was over. They did have a raspberry cheesecake that was also very good.

Really great people. Try the salted caramel chocolate fudge it's the bomb. The ice cream scoop sizes are huge, so be warned before going for that epic quad scoop waffle cone, it would be like 2+ pints! Also the waffle cone are home made, a must try.

Banana pudding ice cream was delicious! Many flavors to choose from. Very friendly, great old school candy choices. Free coloring pages for the kiddos, very tasty fudge!! All around great place.

Super cute little place! The chocolate moose tracks and cappuccino crunch in a waffle cone was exactly what this pregnant mama craved. Hubby had the banana pudding milkshake and it was amazing as well!

Stopped in with our three boys for dessert. The ice cream was great and service was friendly. Reasonable prices and a coloring sheet to keep my toddler happy. Win all around!

Great ice cream, nice staff, not a ton of ice cream flavors but still a good variety, did not try the fudge or candy but it looked like there was a good selection of that too! Convenient location right off the bridge to Ocean Isle.

Every time I go to Ocean Isle I have to go here he has a White House Cherry ice cream and a banana pudding ice cream that you cannot get anywhere else it's a small place but it's definitely worth to visit

Great selections and the treats were good also. The only issue I had was the girls behind the counter were not too enthusiastic to help my wife and I. I understand everyone has an off day but it made me want to try out another location instead.

Don't come to Pete's if you are super hungry. Why, because all the fudge is sooo delicious looking. The ice cream is just like the staff.... awesome. See you again.

I was in the Carolinas to visit some family and took the chance to visit because I wanted saltwater Taffy. I was not disappointed, there was a wide variety of flavors and they were all delicious!

They have fudge, ice cream, and taffy and a huge variety of flavors that taste great. They'll let you sample different flavors and the food tastes great.

This place has a great aroma as you walk in the store, it BBC smells sweet, great icecream, fudge, that's what we got, there are more products, taffy, other candies, etc. Highly recommend ending bvb your beach day there..

Hand’s down better than any place in Ocean Isle Beach... hate that they don’t have a location on the other side of the bridge, because they would put the other place out of business. Well worth the extra half a mile drive!
