Clean store Plenty of parking Shelfs well stocked . Sales were good . My only complaint is that when I asked the cashier not to put much in each bag So they wouldn't be heavy . She just looked at me as if I'd said nothing & with No response . She heard me an still filled them heavy . I'd asked her that because I can't pick up any that's the least bit heavy because of health issues ... In my opinion If a customer asks something I would say it's for a good reason . An I personally think the customers request should not be a problem . She acted as if she was in a hurry an the store was not busy A lady got in line behind me as I was leaving . No reason for her to ignore my request or be in a hurry Wasnt friendly or responsive . She saw me take a few items out of a bag that was way too full an still packed the other bags too full .Usually cashiers are very accommodating an nice at food lion An at least say something. Not good customer interaction this time .I'm kinda surprised .

Its amazing how different products are gone at different times. And how long it takes for it to be restocked even partially or completely. Who knew stain remover would be a high commodity for three months, if you can even find it. And nobody has the answers. But staff is doing their job well.

Noticed many new brands of food items I never heard of and lots of sales 2 for $7.00, none that I bought. Out of some things I went for but all in all, I got what I needed and saved almost $4.00. Still a five star store.

Pretty good grocery store even if it is the only one in town. I have used this grocery store for the last 14 years. It is convenient and pretty much has everything I need. Recently it has started stocking more organic and natural items. That is a plus in my book. The staff are very friendly here and whenever I am looking for an item they close their resister when they are not busy to walk me to the item I need. The only reason I am only giving them a 4 star is because I wish they had more organic items. They are getting some but I would like a little more.

Stopped by Oakboro Food Lion this morning for some water and an apple. While there I stopped by the restroom and decided they are probably the cleanest grocery store in the whole county. I had already decided to leave a nice review. THEN! The lady at the checkout gave me these beautiful flowers! Apparently they were getting rid of the old and I was the lucky winner! It absolutely made my morning! Thank you Food Lion!

I went to the Food Lion in Oakboro and they are always welcoming and friendly. When I went to check out the lines started to get busy,in no time at all they opened up more lines and even the manager was helping to check people out. Thank you so much for stepping up and getting everyone checked out quickly.

I love helping people with health and food lion has provide health products that can heal with it other then medicines. They have added a great team of friendly workers I hope to be a part of working there I can help so many people with health and great customer service I've been in this field for more than 15 years and I would be a great asset to the market. If not I'm still shopping there because the customer service is now excellent

They didn't normally do anything for the Corona virus except put a shield up for the cashiers between the shoppers. Which I did appreciate for their safety and mine. No arrows or social distancing. I try to avoid going out shopping because of a low immune system. So this did make me nervous. Some prices were kinda high but they did have a couple of really good sale items. Hope this Corona virus goes away soon, miss seeing people's smiles. Lots of really good looking produce too.

This particular Food Lion is ALWAYS clean and stocked with all things considered during this pandemic. There are other Food Lion locations that I won't by my dog food in because of the service. The Oakboro Food Lion has a Manager and Cashiers that care about the customers. I have been shopping there for 25 years. If something gets spilled on the floor it's cleaned up within minutes.

Despite warnings by cdc and govt, only deli were wearing masks. And manager and staff didnt seem to care about the 6ft distancing. Our numbers keep going up for infections in the state. Stanly has low numbers, would be great to keep it that way.

This Oakboro location has a nice layout, everything was easy to find, and very friendly helpful staff. My cashier made pleasant conversation as I was checked out. And theres a Subway next door, bonus!

It's the best Food Lion anywhere there is. And the most important thing about them. They have VIP parking for veterans. And that's unheard of. I wish everyone would follow in there foot steps.

I am a patient person i dont mind lines, that being said i really dont have time for a line today. I grab 3 items and go to the 12 items or less to a another shopper with a full shopping cart and the cashier allowed it.

Always has what I need. Food Lion brand products are consistently good too! Especially the red version of cottage cheese. Cottage cheese lovers agree.
