I just spent some time with Brian, who came to my house to help me set up my new laptop and recover data from my crashing desk top computer. He was so kind and patient, explaining everything in a way that even a non-techy person could understand. Brian is very knowledgeable about hardware and peripherals and was able to give me some great ideas about configuring my new set-up. To have my data recovered and installed on my new laptop is a great relief! I would definitely recommend Techson Computers.

I was not getting any video signal from my desktop computer to my monitor. Techson successfully diagnosed the problem, fixed it and only charged me for the new replacement part. All with a smile! I didn’t know courteous competent service still existed. (Don’t forget to pet their cute dog while you’re there.)

When tech issues are beyond you and your phone carrier's skills, this is the place to go. My wife had a sick phone that needed help and she needed her phone because of a family emergency. The team at Techson let her know her options and were able to get it fixed and back to her. The staff was wonderful and explained everything. A great job, thank you!

They rebuilt my desktop hard drive, cleaned and fixed some issues on both of my laptops, and educated me on some things I needed to know but didn't know how to ask the questions. These repairs were done in an unexpected timely manner. The customer service was exceptional, which is not often witnessed any longer in any business. If I had to leave a message, they promptly returned calls, and if I needed to know how to perform some type of task, all I had to do was ask and they talked me through it over the phone. This company is just an all-around great company to do business with.

Excellent service!!! Walked in with no appointment and was helped with my laptop right away. Given good advice about updating my very out of date equipment. Basic problems addressed/fixed during the consultation. I will definately be using Techson for all my electronic needs.

I found a treasure on Oak Island. Had a minor electronics issue while on family vacation and Techson was able to trouble-shoot, discussed some options, and provided a very reasonable solution. It was truly next level service. It is great to find a shop with such competent and caring staff, and a diverse selection of tech gear/dongles, etc. Bring your cash or checkbook, because he can likely help you solve your problem. A cash point 2 blocks away very convenient since I didn't have my checkbook with me.

What a great local business!! I stopped in with no appointment because I was fighting with my Samsung phone for 3 weeks and getting no where. I was in and out in with a fixed phone in 15 minutes for 20 bucks. Now that is a great deal :)

My experiences at Techson could not have been better. Bill was sympathetic with my limited computer understanding and great at diagnosing and repairing my laptop's problems on two occasions this summer. He even made a house call to fix my printer. When I tried to pay for one consultation at the shop, he said that it was part of his customer service - rare indeed! Craig and Cindy are good at their jobs, and all the staff are friendly. It's wonderful to have this shop on Oak Island.

Bill is amazing! He truly cares and is awesome in explaining everything that is going on. He is not your usual geek, demonstration frustration at your lack of computer knowledge. He is extremely cost conscious and will be the first one to tell you of a more cost effective solution, or even tell you that it is not worth repairing. I have brought computers, monitors and printers to him and he handled it all. Nicest part is that he is walking distance from my home. Kudos to Techson Computers :-)

When my iPhone pass code didn't work, and Apple subsequently locked me out, the folks at Techson saved the day! They were super busy, but they were incredibly nice and very accommodating. My device (unfortunately) is my lifeline, so I had to have a working phone as soon as possible. Thank you, Techson, so very much.

Bill and his associate were extremely helpful and patient, in trying to help me with an audio recorder problem. They took pleasure in the challenge, of trying to fix a piece of equipment they had never seen. Small business wins again! Came in because my iPad wasn't charging, wasn't connecting to WiFi, and other problems. The guys at Techson had my iPad up in literally a minute and the only thing I had to pay was a friendly smile! Yeah it was something small to fix and that's why there was no charge, but try getting that at a place like Best Buy. Will definitely be a repeat customer and you should too!

So glad I met this man! I thought my Ipad had died a bad death when it froze up, then got hot and turned black. I took it to Techson and he didn't even charge me when he discovered it was the cord, not the tablet. You know anyone else would have taken advantage of my ignorance or at least asked for a base labor charge. Definitely trust this guy!
