I decided to try Island Jo Coffee & Cafe based on it’s rating. It is a very good place to get a cup of coffee and a bagel.I ordered the sausage egg and cheese on a onion bagel and it hit the spot. I ordered a house coffee and it was good but not great. It was pretty busy at 8:15 when they opened and most people are ordering the fancy coffee drinks which is not something I care for. Considering how many people were ahead of me I don’t think it was too bad of wait considering.The cashier was very polite and friendly. I tried to pay for my order with the $50 bill, and when she open the drawer, they had no money but change so if you plan on paying in cash, I suggest you take small bills.There were 3 tables inside, 6 tables outside and 2 picnic tables in a grassy area. Most people were taking their food to go so there should never be a problem with getting a table.Parking: As busy as it was a parked right in front of the front door. I’m assuming most people are riding golf carts, bicycles or walking to Island Jo.

Took my two little girls here for a treat. They loved the cinnamon twists so much that I didn't even have time to get a pic before they were devoured. I got the avocado BLT on an everything bagel. It was delicious and fresh. They were extremely busy but very quick and efficient with taking orders and getting food out. And everyone was extremely friendly!

Stopped in for a light breakfast and was delighted by the quaint atmosphere and decoration. Due to Covid they aren't doing indoor dining (which is understandable). We had a couple of breakfast sandwiches and thoroughly enjoyed them. The ham, egg and cheese on sesame bagel was fantastic! Even the specialty coffee we had was excellent. I can't say enough about the warm, friendly and efficient service of the staff. I recommend this place highly.

We just had the most amazing breakfast! My wife and I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel, a ham egg and cheese on a croissant (incredible!) and a single cinnamon twist to split - the kind young woman at the front brought us out two cinnamon twists because "you can't split that!" She was right - they're SO delicious! Gooey and cinnamon-y but not overly sweet and just incredible. We couldn't finish our breakfast sandwiches because they were so large, so definitely a fantastic value, great customer service, and delicious food!

Came in for coffee and a late breakfast. There is no seating inside and only one table outside not in full sun. The coffees were great, my husband and I both got an iced caramel macchiato which was really good and not too sweet! My husband also got a Philly Cheesesteak which was good too!! I would have given five stars if there was better seating to really enjoy going out for coffee...Google says it's dine in but it is not currently and the listing should be updated.

Wow this little small local mom & mom pop coffee shop is a treasure!! We got a large coconut caramel frappe, a large Caramel macchiato, 2 bagels one with blueberry cream cheese (the best I’ve ever had as far as blueberry cream cheese), and one with strawberry! So good! The staff was very kind. The prices were not expensive especially considering quality! The place was cute and homey (plus clean) and they were abiding by all covid precautions! Highly recommend!!

This is the cutest coffee shop EVER!! Tons of breakfast, lunch, and dessert options and the coffee drinks are 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻Seating areas around the dining room area for cozy hanging out before you start your day and the staff are so kind, knowledgeable, and patient!We come to OKI at least every other month, and this is our new go-to spot!Parking lot is easy to see from the road, just look for the !

Must visit this quaint, unique, and most importantly "tasty " establishment. I LOVE breakfast, and this is the place I routinely stop in for breakfast, whether "on the go" or to bring a yummy "sit down" with out of town family and friends. My "go to" is the bacon, egg, and cheese on the delicious everything bagel. My dad is a fan of all the housemade quiches served with fruit, which they offer a variety of. Mom loves ALL the bagels, but adores the everything bagel toasted with cream cheese. Coffee here, is also perfect... and this is coming from a daughter who's father specially orders beans and roasts and grinds them lol. This is the only place he will drink coffee other than home. Scrumptious pastries and cakes here are also homemade! Customer service is spot on. Owner seems to be extremely attentive, genuinely concerned, and caring regarding the service rendered to each guest. Check this place out, you will be missing out if you don't. They also serve lunch which I'm excited to try as well! I'm waiting for opening as of now, being I have family in town! 😀... Check this place out if you haven't already.

I got a hot Carmel latte (head up out of 20 Oz hot cups) and a plain bagel. Both were great and at not a terrible price. Service was great didn't take long to get our food and drinks. Would go back and would recommend as a place for breakfast on oak island.Ps: lack of 20 Oz coffee cups is posted well in the store just thought it might be helpful to know.Pps:Google map menu needs to be updated, prices are wrong.

Order in advance from their website. It texts you when your food is ready. There are a few spots to eat outside but it seems like mostly take away. I could be totally wrong about that as I was only inside for like 30 seconds. I guess a dining area could have been behind a door. Regardless, my bagel with fried egg and bagel was spectacular. The coffee was good. Will for sure return again next time I’m In town.

This is a lovely breakfast stop in Oak Island. They have an extensive coffee and breakfast menu, from which we ordered two breakfast sandwiches, an iced latte and a pumpkin spice (hot) latte. The sandwiches were hot, made to order and absolutely delicious. The coffee was a slo very tasty and service was kind and quick. The shop itself gets quickly crowded, but the quick service and seating available (indoor and outdoor) made the brief crowding inconsequential.

Went this morning based on reviews. I ordered a dozen bagels and specialty cream cheese. When I returned home I realized I was given a dozen FROZEN bagels!!!! These are not fresh! Therefore… definitely not worth the price. I had to put them all on a sheet pan to defrost. If I wanted to cook this morning… I would have.

Decent spot for coffee but I have noticed its update 3/18- coffee has been much better!!weaker than it used to be, but the food is always good! It can get pretty busy on the weekends and calling your order in isn’t really worth it. You have to wait in the long line to pay either way… they’d really benefit from two lines or an outdoor window for pickup only. Basically, if you want a quick coffee go elsewhere.
