A very nice carryout with the basic staples you might need: milk, bread, bananas, beer, soda and more. Some beach supplies, and other fun goodies. Easy to get in and out. I’ve been here many times and they are always super friendly.

My daily stop! Friendly staff with small town charm. The best selection of beverages both alcoholic and non alcoholic. I walk in and they already have what I like sitting on the counter waiting. A great local business to support.

Used to be a frequent customer until I bought a torch lighter, took it home tried to use it and it wouldn’t light , returned the next day and the guy told me that he couldn’t swamp anything out only the manager could , being that I don’t live there and was leaving that day was totally unacceptable and rediculous … TERRIBLE customer service , DO NOT SHOP HERE!! go to foodlion , you are better off

Everything overpriced and don't go over there with a debit cards unless you plan on spending $5 went there for a soda I was on my way to Highway 211 last place in town on the Westside to get something went to get a soda that is all I wanted but I could not use my debit card I did not have cash on me so I kind of left the soda on the counter and said thank you very much because of the $5 minimum charge for debit not very people friendly either I will not go there again

this place i think is heaven on earth. the owner is such a very nice person and gives very good customer satisfaction. this business needs more apperception. even though it is a small corner store near the beachside. it has a home in my heart. thank you mr beach pantry owner. we appreciate your hospitality. we hope to see you again in the future.

I had parked my car for 10 minutes to go around the corner with a friend to look at a house. I came back and was entering the store to make a purchase . I said good morning to the Asian man. He asked about my car and said he was getting ready to have it towed. No parking! Went into a rant, so rude. I told him I was a local and we shopped at his store. He kept on, didn't I see his sign on the side...customers only. I told him no, I was sorry. He kept ranting, his wife looked embarrassed. I did not make a purchase. I told him I would never step foot in his store again. He told me to get out of his store. I was one of 3 cars in the lot, it's November and cold and gray. While it is convenient I will not support a business that treats customers so rudely. And I am a nice person.

Rude staff. We went here for a couple of things since this place is so convenient. Cashier was on his phone texting and didn’t even acknowledge we were at the counter waiting to be checked out right in front of him. After a couple of minutes he put his phone down and I asked if they had something in the store and before I could finish telling what I was looking for he cut me off and said no we don’t have it. Then the guy forgot to give us change and when I asked about it he argued. Not going back here no matter how convenient it is.

Extremely rude. Frequently disrespects customers. Feel people will still come buy from them regardless how they treat customers because their location. Ive seen people walk out because theyre rude and the owner whome is an older chineese man tell them “dont come back, I dont care”Strongly encourage not supporting them as have encountered numerous very neggative experiences.Get what you need on the way in, or go a bit further in a pinch.

One of my favorite things about Oak Island is the Beach Pantry. They pretty much have everything you need. Super convenient for drinks and snacks while in the beach as well. Nice people that run it too.

Great local place to get emergency items you forgot or snacks for the beach I've gotten everything from milk and bread to butter and condiments. The next closest place for those in West Beach is another 10-15 mins away. And they don't price gouge like you might expect for the location Nothing beats a sun drop and Little Debbie from the local after a hot day at the beach. Been coming here since I was a kid and hope to for many years to come

I went to this store earlier today. In the past i have shopped there frequently and welcomed the new owners to the neighborhood. I went in to buy soft drinks. I usually buy 12 packs. They were out of both kinds so I decided to purchase a few singles. The owner of the store told me that my pruchase was below their minimum $5 for credit card even though i explained to him that he was out of the larger item and asked him nicely to make a one time exception. I don't carry cash and this was a new policy he turned around anx ignored me. I don't care if I have to drive past this store to go to another. I won't do business with them ever again.

Very rude staff! Employees should not be texting or playing games on their phones when customers walk through the door. Customers should be greeted with a pleasant attitude, it sets the tone for the visit.I don’t care how convenient they are there is no excuse for the way they treat their customers.

Do not shop here. I was charged $43.00 for a cheap bottle of wine a bag of ice and a container of bait shrimp. They offered no reciept for anything. These people are thieves

I would have gave them a -100 if there was a choose. Refused service because we didn't have a mask!!!!! You can't do that now they are saying no mask no service this will be the last time I go here😡😡😡😡 they are extremely rude and they buy things from other stores like family dollar, and dollar gernal and jack up the prices DO NOT SHOP HERE.!!!!!! IT IS NOT BY LAW TO HAVE A MASK ON!!!!!!
