Great local grocery store, and I am very lucky to have them near by. They often have great prices on quality meats and produce, and the store stays stocked with a large variety of name brand and generic products. Due to thier size, a lot of the name brand products are pricier than competitive stores, and they do not have as much variety, but they do have a friendly staff that is eager to help. The 4 stars is not to deter people from shopping there, but because there are areas to improve. I would give them 4.5 stars if I had the choice.

"first of all keep your expectations low extremely low for customer courtesy they are very rude. I was in check-out line and asked can you bring all four of these up at once off of 1? Because I had 4-12 packs of Pepsi's underneath my cart. She then basically kind of jerked it out of my hands and asked how many do you have? in a rude manner. And I once again said can you bring up four of these off of 1? She didn't said "so you have four"? Again in a rude manner and I said yes. So after we coming up there not getting a hello how are you or nothing else and going through all that while I was checking out while I was standing there because as I was walking up to the checkout counter I seen her place bags up onto the counter so I asked obvious question are these two right here my bags? And she just ignored me and turn around and look the other way. I guess the young boy that came from the back thought it was funny because I heard him snicker. I myself didn't find it too funny. I didn't want that the doors because they shut them off on me I understand it was time for them to be closing so I guess I kind of get that no big deal but I slid open the doors and I close them myself because I used to work at supermarket so I know how those doors work I didn't made my way out to my truck and the guy laughing at me deemed it necessary to say " you have yourself a great night sir" all the while snickering at the same time and laughing wall saying it to me. Needless to say I will not be back to this store ever again. I will continue to go to the Dollar General or go to the Food Lion where customer courtesy seems to be a top of the priority list unlike IGA on Rock Creek Road and 268. On a scale of 1 to 10 the store doesn't even hit one with me. They skunked.

Small, clean local grocery store..prices aren't bad and everyone is so pleasant and helpful. You can find things here you won't in larger stores. They don't have a bakery or slice luncheon meats but you can still find these items.

I rarely give five stars, but this place is amazing. The folks here could not have been any nicer. It's a small grocery store, and they've packed a lot of stuff into it. I was not a shopper on my visit, but I can't imagine not being able to find whatever I needed here. The employees are awesome and so kind. I don't get to this area very often, but next time I just may bring my grocery list. Kudos!

This is a great small town market to visit for some good deals. Some items are overpriced but many others are at a great price. The staff are very nice & for the most part makes visiting again well worth paying a little more for a slower paced small market shopping experience no visit to walmart can provide. I highly recommend stopping by if ever in the area.

I LOVE this store. It's in a convenient location for me PLUS, to be a small grocery store, they have some terrific sales.AND- I have yet to find any other places that have such sweet deals on meats. The meats are fresh at this IGA and the prices are well below average of any other grocery stores I have shopped in.

Horrible place to shop. A very poor selection of fresh produce & fresh meat. Extremely over priced & way too high priced on things you can buy cheaper at All other stores. Staff was polite though. Store was semi clean at the time I was there last. They also hadn't gotten the store stocked with hardly anything needed at the time. Would much rather go across the street to Dollar General or up the Rd to Food Lion instead of wasting double the amount of money on the same exact products. Will never go back to the IGA.

Quality food at discount prices. They always have great sales and weekly specials and they are not far from my home so it's very convenient for routine grocery shopping. I can always make my dollar go further when I do my big shopping trips here vs major chain grocery stores.

Seriously... if you live within 30 minutes you should shop here. Friendly people and the best meat dept around! I just bought honey ham for $2 a pound! It's very good... also bought a 5 lb bag of country ham ends for $5. Milk $3 and huge bag (40 pounds?) of deer apples. I ate one coming home. I'm impressed with this store. The courtesy of the employees reminds me of Chick-fil-A... they were all friendly to us

You can get great meat prices if you catch them on sale. Other foods are higher priced than Walmart. Customer Service is outstanding very friendly people. Very clean and organized.

Any time we buy ice cream or really anything frozen, it is freezer burnt tasting or you can tell it has been thawed out and refrozen. Also, any time we buy meat or "fresh produce" ALWAYS goes bad within 24-48 hours when we buy it from here. On a positive note, the staff is usually pretty friendly, however, they could use more than one cashier working at busy hours.

Freezers go out often. Food sitting around not cold like icecream do not risk it! It has thawed to the point of squishy the refrozen, gross everytime. I don't risk getting anything cold from there. Eggs I have seen employees taking out of good cartons to fill broken ones in other cartons then you have no idea the sell buy date! Asked them about it and they think that's ok. Where is the health department?
