We can't understand why this store is unable to keep shelves stocked while other Food Lions in surrounding areas can. Even for their own brand merchandise the shelves are empty. We have come to expect better from Food Lion. We need better.

Someone in corporate office decided to reset the store. Now we don't know where everything is. Even the stockers don't know where everything is yet. Not smart at all. They think if we have to go in every aisle we will stay longer and spend more. NOT !! I got the bare minimum and left. We will make a big run to Harris-Teeter to really stock up.

Store going through a renovation. They have self check out which is really nice. Staff is always so pleasant and always have the small carts to shop with which I love. They now have self check out😃

Convenient location(actually the only grocery at all)on the route hubby takes to & from work. Being a 1 car family I will shop personally when I keep the car but mostly do online ordering for him to pick up on his way home. Have no complaints about either experience!

Prices are TOO HIGH !!!! Customer Service is excellent. Very friendly staff. Only grocery store in town. Don't like the pre-packed meats. I buy meat from other grocery stores ( Moss Foods/Compare Foods) I need Food Stamps to shop @ this store. Prices go up every week :)

This has never been a better than average grocery store. So the shelves being vacant with so many products is no surprise. As well as the signs showing where and what to do aren't obvious to most and not properly displayed. Limited items when found is not enforced neither is directed trafficking. There are a lot better ways to do than this food lion is doing.

The changes at Food Lion have made a difference. The staff is friendly and well mannered. I enjoy talking to them. The inventory at all FLs is different these days, though it's subtle. Not so much perishable or bulk items. Slow sellers get kicked out quicker, too.

All of the staff here are very nice, they are willing to help when asked, and items are easy to see, which is helpful for me because I'm visually impaired!Staff is also well informed about items and their location and if they can't pinpoint something for you, they'll ask someone who can!

I was over charged for 5 seasonal pump bottles of hand soap. The shelf was clearly marked 5 for $5.00. I was charged $1.39 each. The kiosk printed out an in store sheet that stated 1 tub of country Crock plant butter 10.5 oz. FREE. I was charged $2.49 with .50 off w/ad. Big difference from free.

Employees are friendly. The produce is awful. Sometimes I end up leaving the store without any produce because the berries, lettuce and even the broccoli looked terrible. Last time I shopped here, I bought two baskets of raspberries and when I got home and opened them, there were so many with mold I threw them away. Why were they still on the shelf? I’ve seen broccoli where the bottom of stock, on several bunches, was brown and mushy-yuck. Sadly it’s the only grocery in the area. One time I asked if they had fresher green leaf lettuce than what was on the shelf, kindly the employee went in the back and came out with more sad looking wilted lettuce. I don’t blame the store or employees, but Food Lion corporate for shipping such awful produce to the Norlina store.

This Food Lion has a great selection of produce, deli fresh items, and just about everything that suits your taste. To top things off, the cashiers take your food from your cart and that made my shopping day! Every Food Lion should be this way, way to go.👌

First time shopper here. When I came in I was impressed. Everything stocked and priced. Clean looking. Had me really considering not making the drive to the other store I go to anymore. It was when I was checking out that the problem began. HORRIBLE, RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, treatment I got from the cashier Zippora that I WILL NEVER RETURN!!! Absolutely disgusting how she behaved! It all started when she went to put my bananas on top of my tomatoes. I said oh no you can’t put them in there it will squash my tomatoes. Apparently she didn’t like that. When she was done scanning, she just stood there, looking around like I was irritating her. I asked for the total. She ignored me. I said total? Ignored me again. I said is there a problem here? Do we need your manager over here to give me my total? This girl, pops off with I’m waiting for your mvp mpv card. And said it with such a hateful attitude. So I asked the lady at the next register if she could get a manager over here. There is so much more to this after that point. Needless to say LAST TIME shopping here!!! Back to the little bit of a drive to a store where the employees appreciate the customers (and customers appreciate the kind service they provide) and know if it wasn’t for us shopping there they wouldn’t have a job! She needs fired or find her a spot in the back of the store. The VERY BACK, where no customers are.Message for Zippora, customer service is not for you! Find a job where you don’t have to interact with people!

Only grocery within 10 miles. Prices have gone up 17% since other store closed. All meats are pre-packaged and generally tough and too fatty. I go 12 miles to buy my meat (steaks, roast, hams) from Piggly Wiggly. While I'm there I do the rest of my grocery shopping.

The short, African-American female person who comes from the office at the store (I don't know if she is an assistant manager or front end manager) is exceedingly rude and unprofessional. Someone should remind her that she is in a customer service position. I don't have to spend my money somewhere where I am mistreated. Therefore, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Waiting to check out while slow and front end manager makes me wait to service my sixty dollar order. When cashier gets done with one in front of me and starts my order, someone else with a less sizable order gets her to open a register. That is a slap my n the face and a down right embarrassment!!! Things will never change at your Norlina food lion

This place only has rude cashiers and customer service. Parking is a nightmare and be sure to watch over your kids when all the local chomos come out. I wish there was a Kroger, Walmart, Lowe's, or something because food Lion is the king of dirty and high prices.

The management is absolutely awful. Sheila of the deli department is childish & drama filled. The big manager Chris is manipulative and childish as well. Awful work environment. And awful shopping environment
