It's a nice pizza place in Downtown Newton. My parents' favorite pizza place and we had to try it while visiting from out of state.The waitress was superfrindly and helpful when ordering. The inter was large with lots of seats to accommodate a crowd.I chose a thin crust pizza with onions, peppers, broccoli, and sliced sausage. The crust was crunchy and flakey the way I like a thin crust. The toppings were plentiful and fresh. The pizza was tasty and filling.I would return here if I ever get fortunate enough to visit Newton, NC again. But my family who lives in town is here on a regular frequency.

We were in a large group and waited just a little bit for the staff to seat us. They were extremely nice and patient. Our food didn’t take long to arrive and everything was hot and fresh!! Our server was super friendly, extremely composed, tolerantly taking our detailed orders and then making sure we were attended to throughout our time together. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and we plan to return.Dietary restrictions: I was able to order my salad, entree, and bread according to my dietary restrictions.Parking: It was busy and a little hard to find a parking spot along the street, however there were more spaces available just around the corner.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly atmosphere and several meal choices on the kids menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking and seating available.

Ordered delivery. The time was fine. And the food arrived hot. We had the cheese sticks, pepperoni and banana pepper pizza, and the special pizza. Cheese sticks were so good. So much cheese, but still baked on top and not falling off. The pepperoni and banana pepper pizza was ok. The special pizza was decent. The veggies were undercooked. The sauce on both was bland and the dough wasn’t special either. It did serve the purpose of delivery.

The garlic knots were burnt on the bottom. Didn't Taste like any Garlic on them. My pizza was burnt. Had no taste to the pizza. Service with great food was not. The money I paid it should have been great but was not.Parking: The restaurant was empty so was the park in places.

Service was great. Food was 😋 delicious. However, they no longer have the salad bar. I personally like to make my own salad and add what I want and the amount of what I want to my plate. I do not like premade salads and having to track down someone for extra dressing or toppings because whoever made the salad gives you the bare minimum. Until the salad bar returns, we will probably pass on by this restaurant. However, their regular food items are delicious. Pictured is Stromboli baked with lots of cheese.

Excellent food! This place offers delivery and dine in. The buffet is loaded with all types of pizza. If they don’t have what you like, they will make it upon request. Salad bar if great too. Very clean restaurant bathrooms too. I’ve been coming here for many many years. They still treat me like I was brand new here. Very nice staff. Great owner. They have s level of quality that doesn’t match most buffet pizza joints. Subs are great too. Love this place, you will too. Highly recommend this location for sure.

Sad no more buffet. We love getting salads and bread Stix for dinner and then walking around downtown Newton. Geppeto's has been the same since we moved to NC in 93. Quality has not changed! I think some of the same people work in Newton too. Great home town place. Downtown Newton is Geppeto's!!

The food is still good. But they've priced themselves out of the ballpark. I can name 2 other places with the same food that's cheaper and better. When they took their buffet out which I never ate anyway. It hurt they're business. This place is empty when I have eaten there. I saw on Facebook where they commented saying the buffet wasn't profitable anymore. I know a buffet that's booming right in their backdoor. So they increased their prices when they took the buffet out. So I've found better places to go on My lunch every day.

Since I live and work in Newton, I have eaten at Geppetos for years. Their food and service doesn’t seem like what it used to be. And price is not worth quality. Yes, prices have increased everywhere. I eat out often and realize this. But not only have their prices increased, they will nickel and dime you for everything as well. I did not have a good experience on the evening of 2/23. My issue was “handled” by the manager but not satisfactory to me.The salad bar and buffet is really what was appealing all those years. I don’t understand how many other places have brought their’s back but they won’t. Other places raised salad bar/buffet prices accordingly and moved on. Since you’re stuck with the menu, they not only raised those prices but they will charge for every single little thing. Again, I eat out often and this is NOT comparable to what other restaurants do.The daytime waitress who has been there for years and years is awesome! Maybe my mistake was going at night. And I have had good food over the years. But my recent experience left me so disappointed.

On this visit, I went to order and pick up raw pizzas to take to Texas. My nieces grew up eating Geppeto's pizza, but now live in Texas. They asked if we could bring a white pizza and a chocolate chip pizza when we came to visit. The staff was friendly and really helpful in getting this made and specially boxed for a road trip. We froze the pizzas and packed them in a cooler for the trip. I am so appreciative for the help they gave us and their great attitude with this special request.

Do NOT order anything except maybe pizza and drinks. The last couple of times I've ordered pasta and both times were horrible to say the least.The most recent was the blackened chicken pasta and the chicken was ice cold! Not to mention, it's some type of processed chicken chunks and not real chicken breast. The entire meal was awful. We definitely won't be returning or recommending to anyone.

Decent gluten free pizza!! Reg pizza was great per my family. Cheese tasted authentic and had a good flavor. Pepperoni's we not too spicy. They were a little slow getting the food to the table but it was worth the wait. Certainly would go back again if we are in the area!

I had pizza with my boys and their friend, and dined in. I dont think the food was worth the price. We had cheese sticks and a xlarge pizza with a drink with it totaling $41 not including the tip. The other menu choices I seen other customers order looked really good though. Otherwise it was a great atmosphere with friendly staff making it a good place to enjoy time with loved ones.

The cheesestix are a must get, if you want CHEESE bread; very satisfying. The pizza and calzone were quite good as well (both pepperoni), though the calzone had significantly more pepperoni than the pizza. My only complaints about the food are that the tossed salad is bland and boring and the blackened chicken pasta was a bit salty.The servers were friendly and attentive each visit; no complaints.The atmosphere is definitely a bit dated and dingy, even if not necessarily dirty, but it was about what I would expect for an older pizza place in a historic downtown area of a small town. However, visitor beware that cash is king here, and that paying with card will net you a ~4% markup! (Thankful to always carry some cash on me.)Will certainly be back!
