The store was very trashy. There were pallets all down the aisles and there was a broken cooler that was full of drinks. The cashier acted like she did not like her job. I said please and thank you and she just rolled her eyes. My daughter went to check out and she didn't need to take the buggy to the car so she was pushing it to the side had her hands full and the cashier husband puff like it was an inconvenience for her to leave the buggy.

Very cluttered and disorganized cashiers are extremely rude and sit down playing on their phone. That they are out of everything or it could be they have all the products sitting in boxes on the floor.

I would give a higher rating; but due to the maze I had to maneuver through bought it down, I couldn’t find a thing I needed due to the abundance of stock out on the floor. A truck must have arrived and there was probably no place to put it except on the floor. I know there is a huge employee shortage right now and that hurts. But between maneuvering around fellow shoppers and not being able to see or find anything it was not a good shopping experience. But thanks to the very helpful employees; I was able to find things and get out. The people who work here are very friendly and helpful…

When I arrived. The manager was yelling at a delivery driver over mask. Very unprofessional and rude. Let power go to her head. My days of stopping here are over. As a Rn manager. We do not tolerate this bad behavior in my place nor will I be around it. Very disgraceful. Maybe a anger management class is required for this lady.

I used to love this store. Until the manager thats there now came. Shes the rudest person iv ever met. She berates her employees in front of customers, is always complaining or outside smoking..or both. She was behind the register complaining and instead of ringing me up, she called for her assistant to stop what she was doing and come check me out. Ridiculous!

To whom it may concern:On the date of 24 December 2014 at approximately 12:45 pm , I had to purchase a few items from your store located. 419 West A Street Newton, NC I was looking for a few items as last minute gifts as all men do this time of the year. I searched and searched for the perfect last minutes gifts, I was never approached by any of your associates for assistance so I walked every isle looking for what I needed. As I walked I was approached by a uniformed city of Newton police officer, he proceeded to inform me that I was suspected of shoplifting! I was astonished at the accusation. He asked me if I would empty my pockets which I did without hesitation. He found nothing. I briefly spoke with the store manager she had no remorse for accusing an innocent customer of shoplifting. Having said this I would like to see an apology from the store manager that was present. I would like for her to also be better trained in loss prevention and REPRIMANDED, so others do not go through the same embarrassment as I did. I will also be placing this experience on Google plus and other social media. Your corporate offices will also be receiving a certified letter via USPS, with regards to this experience as well.Best regardsF.Rivas

The manager there is so obvious with her racism and prejudice. She treats everyone like they are thieves from the start. It's obvious she takes authority to her head because the entire time I was shopping she instead of ringing customers up she would scream at her employee to stop what they was doing to do so. All while she would go sit at computer but never did anything on it

I love the Family Dollar in Newton NC beside the Pin Station because of the women and children clothes and children's shoes. And all the other supplies. It's better than going to WalMart. Please don't close that Family Dollar cause that's the best one I've ever loved!!! ❤
