An employee I know that use to work there has showed me proof that this store is going down hill. Numerous products are not in there specific spot. So the prices are all wrong. Their stocking and recovery are awful. Everything is shoved into places, products bulging out, where it takes another products space. No organization or clean. The customer bathroom is barely stocked and the employees (not all but a few) wonder around or disappear from the store or will sit in their cars. This is one of the top 5 bad dollar generals.

It'd be nice if they were open the hours advertised on the door. Claims to be open between 8am and 10pm. This is not true. It's 9pm on 07/08/2023 and they're closed. This isn't the first time they've closed early.

This Dollar General is extremely close to my house so I generally go there a lot because it's so close. However in the past two or three months the store has completely went downhill, they seem to always be out of a lot of things that they shouldn't be out of either somebody's forget to order things or something's going on. There's never anyone waiting to ring up your items. You usually stand at the checkouts for minutes and usually somebody will yell through the store somebody else to come to the register. I've heard a woman and a gentleman in there both use foul language and talk bad about customers. Usually the store is not very well organized and a lot of times stuff is put in the wrong place so you don't know how much it is until you get to the register. A lot of things that they should always have in stock they're usually out. I don't think that the new manager and management is doing a very good job at all like I said the store has completely went downhill in the past three months. Also another big issue is they're supposed to close at 10:00 p.m., however it seems whoever works at night decides what time they're going to close. I have gotten there before at 9:25 p.m. and was told I had 3 minutes because they were closing. I've also been there numerous times before 10:00 and the doors have already been locked and they've been closed. I think a owner or a top manager needs to go and get that store back on track

This dollar general SAVED me. I had been traveling back from a ministry event and my car broke down in their parking lot. I live over an hour away from here and my phone was gunna die before I could even call for help. I came walking into the building with tears running down my face, my phone dead. One of the wonderful ladies who worked here came right to me, let me use her charger, and I had no money so she bought me a drink. She let me walk around the store to calm down and call my dad while it poured down rain outside. I would have been lost without her in a place I’ve never been before. Thank you Dollar General for hiring such beautiful people I hope she is having a blessed day.

Close at 10 apparently. I get there at 9:50. People in the store shopping. All I needed was a drink. Cashiers tell me they’re closed as they stand there doing nothing. This is why people get paid low wages…

Love the DG on hwy 16 providence rd intersection. Very clean, larger store. And you have room to walk without dodging boxes blocking the aisles.
